Incorporated as a city in 1911, Perris was named for the chief engineer of the California Southern Railroad—Fred T. Perris. Nestled just south of the March Air Reserve Base in Riverside County, Perris attracts residents with its relative affordability, suburban conveniences, and unique historic charm.
Perris offers something for everyone. Shoppers delight in the locally-owned shops strewn throughout the funky downtown area as well as the national retailers located in numerous area shopping centers. Outdoor enthusiasts relish quick access to recreational destinations like Lake Perris State Recreation Area, Lakeview Hot Springs, Mount San Jacinto State Park, and San Bernardino National Forest.
History buffs enjoy the fascinating exhibits at the Orange Empire Railway Museum, Perris Valley Historical Museum, and the Southern Hotel Museum while sports fans appreciate the many replicas of famous ballparks at Big League Dreams Perris.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I mean really roaches everywhere they spray they come more they need to put a tent up I’m not being funny it’s nasty like 4 real.... you crazy if you wanna move here
these aparments are horrible.. the swimming pool/ hot tub looks like a swamp. the maintenance man does everything but maintenance instead he gossips. the gym??? they have a treadmill from the 1970s that doesnt even work. The parking sucks so dont expect to have any visitors other then the police. roaches will have a gang war with you, oh yes me and my spouse are very clean but the roaches held us hostage and took over. The maintenace man does nothing about so i think him and the roaches are from the same neighborhood. expect not to be able to wash you behind atleast 2 days out the month because they turn the water off. The manager is cool sometimes but she could hardly. count . oh and she doesnt come to work, no she comes to to eat and takes work breaks so she hardly in the office. this place is very professional.
I been living for over 3 years, new manager is polite and helpful, all work orders are been taking in a timely manner, this are perfect for a single person, couple or small family of 3. I'm more happy with new personnel in leasing office .
