Laurel Lakes Townhomes

So far Laurel Lakes has been a good living experience. The maintenance has been slow to fix our 1st maintenance request, which is the reason for the four stars. We were given a trash can with no wheels and it’s been over a week with no response or acknowledgement of request.

Town house was not ready for move-in. Upon move in the place had many different quality failures in the home. The stairs laminate came off , The builders tried to hide the mistakes they made. But not good enough. The lawn sprinkler system also was a dud...water is all over the street almost every morning. Other than that so far we are comfortable in the townhouse. Nevertheless we will finish our lease and definitely look elsewhere.

So far a lot of stuff has broken and/or fallen apart. The trim under the kitchen counter on the dining room side is not attached very well, 1 side is hanging down. The kitchen cabinet doors are attached uneven and therefore rub against each other when opening and closing. The door knob on the hall door came apart. The laminate on one of the steps came completely off and the laminate on the other steps is coming off. The townhome was never cleaned before we moved in. The cleaners came a few days after we moved in. We were there and they said they would come back, but they never did. All of the floors were dirty, the sliding glass door track was filthy, under the kitchen sink was dirty. So we moved into a dirty townhome that they said would be cleaned and wasn't. The pantry door is not level so when you open it a little and don't hold onto the handle while you are reaching in for an item the door swings all the way open. The way they handle rent and water payments is ridiculous.
