We have been here a month and have enjoyed all the other tenants we have met, the management team is responsive. Love having a nice fitness room vs a non-designed fitness room that isn’t inspiring to work out.

1. Security and Safety Issues Garage Security: The parking garage lacks essential security measures, including functioning cameras and secure access. The main gate has been broken for over two months. At least 10 vehicles have been stolen and even more have been broken into. Unrestricted Access to Residential Areas: Doors leading from the parking garage to residential hallways and stairwells are accessible to anyone, creating a significant safety risk, particularly for women and vulnerable residents. Unauthorized Access to Units: Several residents have reported unauthorized access to their units by Launch staff and/or others using staff key cards, which were verified through Latch app records. Such actions constitute a serious violation of tenant privacy. 2. Amenity Issues Pool, Hot Tub, and Gym: These amenities remain frequently in disrepair, unclean, unsanitary, and inaccessible, despite being part of our lease agreement - this includes issues with the temperatures being too hot (gym) or too cold (pool/hot tub). 3. Accessibility Concerns Garbage and Mail Rooms: The garbage and mail rooms are frequently obstructed, making them inaccessible to residents with disabilities. Pathways are cluttered, garbage chutes are blocked, and packages are unreachable, posing a barrier to full use and access of these spaces. Additionally, the cleanliness due to other tenants continues to be an issue without proper signage or instructions for how to share the space. Multiple tenants have made requests and provided solutions/ideas. 4. Communication Management response to concerns: Many tenants have reported issues that have gone ignored or unresolved. Additionally, management's response has either been rude or unhelpful. For example, in response to a resident's car being stolen from the resident portion of the garage (which requires a monthly fee), management replied "It's the bay area, you should expect it". Another resident's car was towed from the garage, despite paying for a spot and having a parking permit visibly displayed. When they questioned management, management replied "I didn't tow the car, its not my problem." 5. Cleanliness and Maintenance of Pet Areas Dog Run and Wash Station: The dog run remains unsanitary, with pet waste left uncollected for extended periods, leading to health hazards such as a flea infestation. The dog wash station is similarly neglected and unclean, putting both tenants and animals at risk.

The parts needed to repair the exterior garage door have to be manufactured overseas and unfortunately, this has delayed the repair process. The interior door remains fully operational and we have hired security to patrol nightly. constant issues: pool and hot tub continue to be out of service, elevators also out of service, garage gate broken which will inevitably lead to ADDITIONAL break ins, with no compensation for stolen vehicles. for the entire month of november - no resident events. dog run constantly smells. overall poorly run.

The staff and maintenance crew are very helpful. On the contrary, my experience of the self service in the package room is frustrating and exhausting. I am not motivated to give a good rating for the self service in the package room because it is not worth the first class rate of rent it is charging. These are the reasons. I received a package notification. 4 persons searched but couldn’t find my package. I am forced to believe that the notification is a mistake. The carrier may or may not always put packages on the designated area. Careless residents may mess up the designation. All the packages on my shelf must be checked. If I don’t find mine, I have to look at the adjacent areas picking up packages on the floor or moving heavy blocking packages. There is no chair for sitting in crouching searches. Nor is there any stepping stool or tool to help reach highly or deeply placed packages. I don’t trust my packages to the package room anymore and will pick up from a store.

the exterior of the apartment complex is very attractive, when you first see the gym/pool amenities the property feels high quality. however, once you take a closer look you will see the poor quality of the facilities. constant issues with amenities being unavailable, and most recently issues with security. despite residents sharing multiple experiences with stolen vehicles within the gated garage, individuals breaking in to areas such as the pool - management has not implemented appropriate security measures. once my lease is up i will not be renewing.

The Launch is a well managed apartment with a lot of superior qualities such as, privacy, cleanliness, and security. The sound proof is super as well as the facilities inside the apartment. I have been living here since June 2024 and I feel good and happy about my choice of this apartment as my residence.

Move in process was great, team was super responsive. Leasing office is slower to respond to requests etc now. I have to follow up 2-3 times to get a proper response.

Honestly the staff is professional, but we pay very good money to live here and there’s numerous issues. Pool and hot tub are claimed to be cleaned regularly but are totally not, we have issues with trespassing that are unaddressed, and multiple neighbors have told us personal claims of “accidental” intrusion. I could not imagine having myself or my wife nude and being walked in on by staff doing a tour. Unacceptable, and a violation of terms, not to mention really naive. Bozzuto seems to be great, but the investors instruct staff to not stock amenities like water bottles, and coffee, and so we don’t receive all of what we allegedly pay for. Not to mention getting someone to come fix my clogged sink took numerous emails and reach outs and calls and I was told “they will probably get around to it today.” However it’s urgent maintenance and was reported first thing in the morning. Grills are dirty and lack cleaning brushes, and flooring on some of the public spaces are unstable.

The management is very lacking of late. There has been a decrease in community events, numerous issues throughout the property that are slow to be resolved, break-ins in the parking garage. For the amount we pay in rent, residents are not getting the luxury that was advertised.

A great view, welcoming community, awesome events, and wonderful staff! Brand new gym with all new equipment. There is even a dog park and a dog wash. The pool is definitely the biggest in Alameda!

Have lived here about a month and am enjoying it so far. It's overall a pretty quiet and chill complex. Had some maintenance issues when we moved in but they have been fixed and the maintenance team is nice. Have not used too many amenities yet but do enjoy the courtyard right outside our apartment.

Living here has been a dream! Our unit is open, bright and clean. The management team is completely amazing! They are kind, helpful and always on it. The community is fun, great neighbors and monthly events and the amenities are great. It's been a good transition after living in our home prior to this.

Move in was simple and apartmentbwas clean everything went smoothly. The walk from the car or move in truck can be quite far from the apartment but is the only minor complaint.

Love living here. Apartment units are really spacious with tons of natural light coming through. Washer/dryer and dishwasher makes everything so convenient. I love the onsite dog park. A little small, but do we really need a huge one. Bags are provided to keep the community clean which is nice. All the amenities are great and super top notch. Really secured because of the latch system. Everything fees as if I live in a hotel, feels like a dream a lot of the times. The community is great! Everyone is so nice and I love all the community events we have to get to know each other! I love living by the water and walking along the grand marina trail every morning. Really great for your pups too! The staff are amazing. Super welcoming and helpful. They go out of their way to help and they really do appreciate you for being a tenant. Rent is a little high, but very worth it in my opinion.

My partner and I have really enjoyed our time here so far, the staff are so kind and helpful and the common areas are well taken care of. The apartment itself is a beautiful space and a great size! I feel very safe here with the two gates for the garage as well as the locks on all the doors going up to the apartments and elevator. Everyone who lives here is so nice and friendly! Absolutely love it here!

I just moved into Launch and am very happy with my unit, the property and amenities and the level of customer service. Aldrin helped me with the move-in process and was so sweet and thoughtful knowing I have two small kids, he placed us in a unit near the pool and our parking spot near an elevator. These little touches go a long way. Maintenance worker Louie was also incredible in getting service requests tended to right away and efficiently. I am very pleased with this team and the overall experience.

I toured with Aldrin back in April 2023 and was working with him about my move-in for Fall. He was very helpful in helping me find my new home. I recommend reaching out to him if you need assistance with your apartment search as he is very informative. My favorite amenities at Launch are the pool and hot tub as it is big and clean. Lastly, I enjoy their resident events.

The Launch Alameda is a very well thought out multi family community. My experience from start to finish was great. I worked primarily with Aldrin however everyone on the team is great to work with. My emails are answered within 24 hours and being in the property management business, customer service is critical and they do a great job!
