We love living at Larkspur Courts! Location, location, location! Easy access to freeways, Golden Gate ferry and Marin Country Mart. We also love the spacious grounds, the peaceful community and the view and efficiency of our unit.
I've lived at Larkspur Courts for the past 16 years. The location and the living conditions here are wonderful. Over the years there have been changes in management structure. The current team is probably the best. The physical maintenance team fortunately has stayed intact. They are exceptional!

Larkspur Courts Apartments are located in a beautiful setting surrounded by well-maintained landscaping and a view of the SF Bay. The support staff is professional, friendly and responsive to the needs of its tenants. This tenant has lived here for two decades and has no plans to live elsewhere.

Larkspur Courts isn't a beautiful setting and has a prime location. Easy access to the San Francisco Ferry, Marin Country Mart and all that it has to offer and two major freeways. The community is very well maintained and generally very quiet. Our individual unit is very efficient and has a beautiful view. We love living at Larkspur Courts!

The ample living space and the view are two things I like best about our apartment. The well-equipped fitness room is also much appreciated by us two reasonably fit but aging seniors.

For the most part, I love it here the walls are pretty thin so you can hear every time your neighbor flushes the toilet or walks above you but I love my apartment. I love the Grounds. The Management has been lovely and I’m glad I moved here.

We have friends who are interested in Larkspur courts. We explained that the grounds are well maintained, The maintenance staff is excellent but, rents are very high. When they hear the cost of an apartment they look elsewhere.

I really like living at Larkspur Courts. It's a quiet refuge right in the middle of Marin with amazing access to San Francisco on the ferry, and the SMART train is right here too. And by car you can get anywhere in Marin in just a few minutes.

Will be renting an apartment for a year since August '24 and really appreciate the serenity and privacy, peace and quiet I've been experiencing. My daughter came home from college for Thanksgiving break and prolonged Christmas break, and she was absolutely glad about getting her beauty sleep and then some with the restful environment. Next I enjoy the convenience to the shops and East Bay commute and being central in Marin. Can get to a lot of places in Marin and beyond easily here by car and other modes of transportation. I do feel the staff and maintenance are very responsive and accommodating.

We love the location of Larkspur Courts, the location and view of our unit, our interior space and layout. Parking is convenient to our unit. The maintenance staff is terrific. The new management company has been responsive. We are able to walk to destination style cafes and restaurants, we have easy access to freeways. Being centrally located in Marin gives easy access to Southern Marin and Northern Marin.

***Warning*** Like many, we were lured into signing a lease with this apartment complex due to the nice views and low deposit. Worst housing decision we have ever made. First be prepared to have your rent go up by the maximum allowed every year. When we left our apartment a couple weeks ago we moved in a bigger and nicer place that was actually cheaper when considering all the bills (be prepared to pay for garbage, sewer, water, someone to take you trash down, service fees etc etc...). The walls and ceiling are VERY thin, you can hear every step made above you and be prepared for people to bang on your floor if you walk around in a normal way. And if you have a child or pet forget about it. We had some crazy person banging on our floor constantly when our toddler was walking around the apartment and eventually started yelling and swearing, scaring our kid. The office staff did not handle the situation in a professional or reasonable manner and overall were very unhelpful. To add insult to injury we got a bill for almost $1000 after moving out. We left the place spotless, probably cleaner than when we got it, and touched up the paint to fix any nail or screw holes. This place is horribly run and not worth your time. Highly recommended not living here.

We moved out about a year back but I thought I should commend the apartment management for making our stay and move out pleasant. And also being very fair and nice about post move-out formalities (refunded security, charged basic cleaning fee, and about ~$50 for some replacements). We were at the property for over 2 years. Pros - nice and clean common areas including pool, gym, workspace - well maintained landscape including grass on property - ferry, running trails children's park, train and nice market at a walking distance - responsive maintenance staff - electric vehicle charging stations - no AC. may need fans 3-4 days out of the year Cons - no dog/pet free green area for those with sensitive kids - some incidents of package theft reported in some apartments but we were never affected. Overall quite safe area. - traffic congestion on 101 in the evenings driving in from south

My wife and I moved into Larkspur Courts a few months ago. It is a very nice and well-maintained property. The amenities are great and the location cannot be beat. Our unit was newly renovated and makes for a very comfortable home. Their lease terms were by far the most flexible of all the alternative properties we viewed. The front office staff is very responsive and personable. The application process was a bit lengthy and required a lot of paperwork, but that is not the fault of property management. Since moving in we've been very happy with our decision and appreciate the family friendly and dog friendly atmosphere.

We moved to Larkspur Courts a month ago while undergoing a home remodel. We were initially reluctant because of the mixed reviews we read online, but we loved the close proximity to the Country Mart and local playground (we have small children) as well as the large amount of storage, closet and patio space. So happy we decided to move here! Most of the apartments and common spaces have been recently remodeled and while they are in the process of finishing up construction in certain areas, we don’t find the noise to be an issue. Kyle and Avneet are wonderful -- very welcoming and responsive and they made our move-in process easy. Great amenities, safe and well-lit location and very family friendly. We love it here!

We looked around at many apartment complexes in the Marin area. Larkspur Courts Apartment Homes remains our first preference. Larkspur Courts has the best floor plans with natural light and separate entrances. We have a beautiful view, top floor, corner unit that is very quiet. We don't even feel we live in a apartment community. It's also great they are pet friendly. The amentities are very nice including the clubhouse, landscaping water features, pool, whirlpool and workout facility. It's great to be able to walk to shopping, movies, restaurants and the Larkspur Ferry. Easy access to San Francisco, Richmond Bridge and all freeways. While the negative may be living through the renovations construction, it will be worth the inconvenience once it's all completed. The new windows, decks and siding is much improved. They units do not have A/C but it usually cools off quickly during the evenings.

I had the privilege of living at Larkspur Courts while my house was undergoing renovations. I cannot tell you how much Larkspur Courts was a solace for my family and I. The interior of the apartments are up to date and their floor plans are extremely spacious! I have never lived in an apartment that had so much storage. While we lived there we were able to cut down our monthly expenses by cancelling our lease at a storage facility. The exterior closet conveniently located next to the front door turned out to be larger than the one we were renting. The grounds are beautiful and the surrounding area is conducive to wonderful shopping and dining! What made my time here most enjoyable was the courteous and professional office staff. Sarah, Paul, Avneet, and Kyle made a hectic time in our lives smooth and hassle free as possible! My family and I will always be grateful to Larkspur Courts and look back on our time there fondly!!

We moved from NYC to CA with a newborn baby in the beginning of 2017 and wanted to be near the city, but at the same time be in a clean, safe, green-ish and lush like area. We found Larkspur Courts Apartments which was perfect and addressed all the things we were looking for. The apartment is great (spacious and newly renovated); the pool, gym and club house are all great and always very clean. The maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to any issues - They've always addressed any of our requests in less than 24 hours. Kyle has always been our main contact and ready to help us any time. We highly recommend Larkspur Courts and are really happy we chose to make it our home.

I'll provide two stars due to the nice facilities and location's proximity to the ferry and dining at the Marin Country Mart. The management of this place is toxic though, and should be enough to drive prospective tenants away. They are currently doing major renovations to all units, but aren't being upfront with tenants as to the scale of construction at hand. Communication is subpar at best, and minimal efforts are made by management to please tenants who are being forced to live in the construction mess with no reductions in rent or similar good will gestures you would expect. I'm sure once construction is complete the place will look great, but stay far, far away for the next year or so that it is happening, and cross your fingers that Greystar is no longer in charge at that point as well.

We live in a beautiful apartment complex that feels like your living in the country, yet 15 minutes from downtown San Francisco. The apartments are a "Cape Cod" style with white trim that is reminiscent of East Coast houses. We have a pool, gym, lounge chairs, and beautiful landscaping. Pet friendly also. We are directly across the street from a country mart that has everything from shops, restaurants, farmer's market, jazz night, and folk night. Also, includes a yoga works, soul cycle, 24 hr fitness, dry cleaners, hair salon and shoe repair. The restaurants serve mainly organic foods and all have outside seating and pet friendly. In addition, we are directly across from the Ferry that takes you into San Francisco within 1/2 hour, so a great commute for those working in the city. We are also 5 minutes from two main shopping malls, two main grocery stores and movie theatre is in walking distance. I have never had so man conveniences right outside my front door. I love living here and would recommend it to anyone looking to live in a serene setting.
