The worst apt. maintenance you’ve ever experienced

The location of this complex is undeniably great, but in 2 months of living here I have discovered several little things around my apartment that don’t function properly or are broken, and the maintenance here takes literally 2-3 weeks to even respond to your work order request and then they do a terrible job that only temporarily fixes the issue, and then the 2-3 week cycle begins again; every time, with everything.

Not worth the money

If you like to listen to your neighbors stomp or slam cabinets all day and night, this is the place for you. Complex has mold, gnats/fruit fly and insulation issues and they are well aware of them but won’t do anything about. Unable to open bedroom windows because they’ll fall out of the frame…maintenance won’t fix. Maintenance has zero sense of urgency and can’t submit request to office…must submit a ticket and they’ll get to it when they can. There’s no spa but on their website, they say they have one. Nope…out of order for years and just filled it in last summer. Still won’t remove from their amenities. Had an amazing playground and now, they replaced with something that’s not fun. Pet waste is horrendous and don’t bother complaining to office…again, won’t do anything but submit a “courtesy call”. In order for anything to get done, calling their property management company is the only way to get them off their butts and do something.

Floors/Walls Thin

I have lived there a few months and can not stand it. You can hear people walking, closing cabinets, etc in other apartments. Walls and floors are too thin. They do not clean hallways to apartments they are kind of yuk. Will be moving when my lease is up.

Disappointed

I moved out 5 months ago and have been trying to get my security deposit. Prior to the move out I filled out paperwork and asked if I could send an email with my new address. Management approved it and said I could send it anytime prior to the move out date. In June I asked management when I would should expect my deposit and they stated it could take up to 30 days. By July I contacted management again and was told that I never sent an email with my new address therefore they sent it to my old address?!?!?!. I forwarded the email and never got an answer from them showing my contact in April. After calling again at the beginning of August the manager was extremely rude and stated that they sent the refund in April and should have received it. When stated the issue she was short and acted like this was my fault. Now going into October I still don't have a deposit back. For having a clean apartment and zero issues its sad to see this money stay with a unprofessional staff and corporation!

There are better places to live in the Fishers area.

This apartment is very outdated for what they charge you for monthly rent. There are much nicer apartments in the Fishers area that are better priced. Be aware that the apartments are filthy when you move in and the maintenance is terrible. If you decide to live here, make sure to carefully read your lease. My fiancé and I just moved out of this complex and the clubhouse claimed that we had no outstanding balances. A month later we were sent to collections. The staff is terrible in the clubhouse. They are very unorganized and are very uneducated about the property. Also, don’t bother going to management because they could care less about their residents. Overall, the complex is terrible and is not safe. They will take your money and then ask for more. Please don’t make the same mistake that my fiancé and I did!

Best Apartment I've ever lived in

My boyfriend and I moved in and have been living here since January 2016. This by far has been the BEST apartment I have ever lived in! The neighborhood is peaceful, quiet, and SAFE! We have never had any issues or complaints. The few times we have had to contact maintenance were for very minor things such as replacing a light bulb in the kitchen and a battery in one of our smoke detectors and they always respond quickly. But other than that everything has been perfect while living here. The office staff has been incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful! I would absolutely recommend this community to anyone! Even though we are looking forward to moving to our own home someday, we will greatly miss living here when that time comes!

Great place to live!

I have lived at Lantern Woods on two separate occasions, and both experiences were great! The office staff is always nice and helpful. The first time I moved in from out of state, Ashlee was great to work with and went above and beyond what you would expect from your normal leasing office. When I needed to find an apartment my second time around, I didn't hesitate calling her back. The maintenance requests get completed timely, the neighborhood is quiet, and overall even most tenants seem friendly. With lots of different floor plans to choose from, the centralized location, full washer/dryer in most units and reasonable pricing, it's hands down the best option you can ask for in Fishers! I couldn't have asked for a better experience both times around.

Absolute Waste of Time!

What an embarrassment! I arrived today to talk to some representatives about apartments. The doors were locked, and the sign said back at 1:55. It was already 2:10, but okay I decided to wait because I was really interested in their apartments. 2:35 rolled around and I decided to leave. Clearly this facility is run by people who either don't care about being back at their post at the time specified, or they just can't tell time. Either way, I'm glad I didn't go with these jokers. A complete waste of time!

Beware

I have never been so upset with any apartment complex. First of all, they never communicated to us that the leases end on the 15th of the month. Every communication we received prior to signing the lease said absolutely nothing about an extra 15 days being tacked onto our lease agreement. Of course, we were rushed through signing the lease, and never received a copy of the agreement for review. My fiancé and I were in the process of purchasing a home, and found out that we had to pay another half a month of rent, only a few weeks before the 1st of our move out month. Then we find out that even though we were paying the full 15 days extra, they were trying to rent the apartment out to new tenants, so they would get double the rent. It made us feel that this company is extremely shady. The communication is a joke, and these people need to be fired. Every time I have attempted communication with the office, I get at least 2 different answers from them. They even tried to charge us for using the garage when we moved out, even though they guaranteed us that we would have no further charges. I was certainly not the only person to feel this way, because each time I was in the office, another person was threatening to call their attorney. We had many problems from our AC leaking, the walkway being broken up and untouched for a week, a horrible sewage smell coming from the pipes in the bathroom, our toilet literally falling over, to our new neighbors getting the police called over a domestic dispute in the public walkway. Someone even wrote creepy things on our front door with permanent marker. Needless to say we are extremely unhappy with the outcome of our experience at this apartment. We moved in thinking this would be a safe, pleasant place to reside because of the high price of rent and the location, but all in all we were incorrect.

Lantern Woods

Lantern Woods is a fantastic apartment complex. My fiance and I have been here 3 years. It's in a great location just a quick bike ride to down town fishers. The office staff is great and responsive, as well as the maintenance team. They have monthly pool parties, and pizza parties. We do not have kids, but have noticed there are lots of families here for those interested in a family friendly complex. The only down side to the apartment is the same for most apartments in that they have a limit to the size of dog you are able to have. All in all we have been extremely happy with lantern woods.

Awesome place to live

This was my roommates and I's first apartment and it was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect, there are many things near by. Never a boring weekend. The prices are great and the office staff are really nice and helpful!
