Property Ratings at Landings on Silverlake
Anytime you move into a new apt you don’t know what it will be like. Well, one thing for sure they keep the place up. Sam from maintenance works hard and ensures things get done and quickly. The complex is well cared for and staff is on the ball. The grounds are well kept and you don’t have to plead to get things done. They have scheduled system checks to ensure tenants are comfortable and safe in their units.
You could not ask for a better community. I moved in recently from California and leased an apartment with Kayla sign un-seen. I was nervous going in but I trusted her. She went out of her way to take pictures and send them to me. I was very pleased with her and she made me feel right at home. When I did arrive I was more than happy! Everything she told me was 100% true and the apartment was PERFECT! I have met Mike and Jacob as well and they are always so friendly & always greet you in passing! The community itself is peaceful and all of my neighbors that I have met have been wonderful and they all have BIG things to say about the community. I feel like I live on a resort each & every day. Wouldn't of wanted to retire anywhere else besides here!
We just want to say thank you to the new management and staff! Within the last year there has been so many great changes here. The grounds have never looked better, the pool looks amazing and now it doesn't even take 1 full day for a work order to be responded to. Everyone here has nothing but good things to say about the staff. One of our neighbors for 6 years have asked about a handicap spot for the mailboxes and it kept being pushed to the side... they decided to ask the new staff and within 24 hours the spot was painted!! We couldn't be more proud to call this place our forever home.
I just want to say thank you to Kayla the manager here. She went above and beyond for me with helping with my taxes and social security which she didn't have to but did anyway. She is very sweet and you can tell she cares for her residents here. She's never too busy for you and will always take the time out of her day to assist you in any way she can. She makes a world of difference here at The Landings and we are blessed to have her. Maintenance men, cleaning staff and office staff are always a pleasure when passing by. I love my home and they make it extra special for me. I never have a worry!!! Again, THANK YOU LANDINGS STAFF FOR ALWAYS BEING EXCEPTIONAL!
I have been a resident here at Landings since 2016 and I absolutely love it. When they hired the new manager I spoke with her about some issues that I have had for about a year...small maintenance things that every manager or office staff looked over...and within 24 hours I had maintenance knocking on my door there to fix it ALL! She is always so sweet and a pleasure to talk to. Mike and Jacob are also very polite and always offer a helping hand even when its not asked. If I could rate Landings 10 stars I would. Thank you Landings for making me feel safe, secure and PROUD of my home!
I moved into Landings around a month ago due to loosing my husband. The apartment was spotless and exceeded my expectation by a long shot. You can tell the staff has pride in their community because it shows through the grounds! If you let them know an issue, whether its trash that has fell out of dumpster or a work order it is addressed same day. I have even seen the office staff out walking picking up trash and changing out bags. Speaking of the staff, the manager Kayla is wonderful along with the rest of the Landings staff. I will be a long term resident as long as my Lord needs me here on this Earth.
I have been a resident for about 4 months and to say WOW is an understatement. The staff are always so helpful and friendly. Kayla the manager never acts too busy to talk with residents and address their issues. I had a few minor issues at move in and they were fixed the same day I spoke with her. The work the staff does on the daily from delivering packages to spraying weeds is exceptional. I looked at numerous apartments in Church Hill and Kingsport and so happy I rented here! They will not disappoint.
Me and my husband have lived here for almost two years now. We absolutely love it. We complained about our fridge not being tall enough for my handicapped husband and within two weeks the new manager got one and maintenance installed it within a timely manner. We could not be more thankful! They are also doing landscaping in front of the buildings and they look amazing. The staff is always courteous and really listen to the needs of the residents. The changes that are happening makes us so happy and we will be here for as long as time lets us! I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
The new changes in the office and maintenance have made a HUGE difference here. The office staff are always friendly and ready to meet your every need. You have an issue and they make sure it’s done in a reasonable time. The maintenance is always friendly when coming for a work order. The outsides are starting to fall all together and they are looking better than they have ever in my 10 years here. Not only the paint but the upkeep of weeds, pool, flowers and all the grounds surrounding this community. I’m proud to say I’m a resident here and plan on being here for as long as i can be.
Have been a resident for almost two years and have loved every minute of it but these past few months have really made some great changes here. The staff are doing wonderful keeping everything in good condition and the paint is beautiful with the landscape surrounding. They go above and beyond for us here and never complain. Plan on being here for the rest of my life. Thank you landings for letting me call you home.
This is a nice place as long as you don’t require sleep. When I first moved in it was perfect. I have been here going on 3 years and in the last year they have allowed people to move in who stay up all hours of the night partying, trash up the community yard area, and being extremely loud in the breeze ways next to everyone’s front door all night, they are constantly doing contrustion in the morning, the dogs that live here bark excessively, and not oh I hate the sound of barking excessively because I love my dogs but my neighbors dog literally barks from the time they leave their apartment till the time they return. This means your up until 2 or 3 am do to your loud neighbors and then right up at 7am due to construction. My kitchen light went out last March so I have been with out a kitchen light for 19 months. I’ve ask 3 times for the fixture to be fixed because it’s not the bulb but the fixture but I guess their to busy with all this early morning construction. This place was awesome and I always bragged about it and referred my emoyees to this company for housing but now I wouldn’t refer my worse enemy at this point.

This place is absolutely terrible. We've been having issues with an upstairs neighbor for over a year. They let their children run through the apartment at all hours of the night. I tried calling the courtesy officer and tried talking to the office. Nothing was done. Last month they finally contacted me trying to correct the situation. Their solution? To move me into a new apartment where my rent is actually increased! No forcing the offending party to relocate or giving me a discount for having to take off work to move or anything like that. Stay away from this place if you can. The grounds are nice, but the staff are incompetent at best.

Look no further! The Landings is everything you been looking for! Courteous and respectful management that will find the apartment that suits your needs. Beautiful scenery, quiet neighborhood, and friendly residents. The property has a pond where children can enjoy fishing or hanging out for some peace and quiet. A pool is on site to enjoy the summer sun. Coming soon a playground will be built for the kids to have fun. Apartments are pet friendly. 24 hour maintenance and security needs. The property has a Courtesy Officer on site. Come by and you will be pleased!
This was a nice quiet place until management was fired a year ago for not renting enough apartments in two weeks. They then brought in someone who was here before that couldn't do the job. She will lie with a smile on her face. As for the pool,it was closed at least half the summer because of pump problems,but the ducks love it and will regularly swim with you. We used to have on sight security,but he wasn't retained after his contract expired,probably because he is married to the previous asst. manager. We have been getting patio/balconies repainted recently. That job was started in February last year. Would not recommend to anyone and will be out at the end of my lease leaving another apartment empty

My wife and I moved from Philadelphia to Northeastern Tennessee to escape the noise, violence and chaos of the city. We have found just what we were seeking in the Landings on Silver Lake. The office staff are professional, responsive and friendly. The maintenance staff go above and beyond in working on your requests ASAP with competence and speed. Most enjoyable for us have been our afternoon walks and feeding the very friendly ducks on the lake. We both work from home on the internet and find the service and quietude that we need to end our work week relaxed. Everything that we need is within a few minutes drive. For what more could you ask? My answer is a resounding - nothing.
These apartments are beautiful. They offer sports courts, swimming pool with kiddie pool, clubhouse, when you enter the office they have free coffee bar with WIFI. The pond is beautiful with ducks, residents can fish. Bays Mountain in the background is incredible. The girls that work in the office are great, sweet, and efficient. The maintenance guy gets to things right away. The apartments are spacious. You can not feel any more at home than here. Great place with good price.
This complex was a very nice complex until fairly recently. There have been news articles about people being arrested here for various offenses, the Sheriff's office is at the complex weekly attempting to serve arrest warrants or locate persons of interest in violent crimes, they allow people to smoke directly in front of their neighbors' doors and discard the spent cigarettes on the ground, and they allow pets to dispense fecal matter all over the property without owners picking it up....all with no repercussions. I would not recommend this property at the price point that they are asking. It is closer in quality to a tax incentive or income based property.
The units are fantastic with a nice hard wood laminate and contemporary carpet. The gas heat, water heater, and stove help keep electricity bills low. The cabinets and closet doors are a bit dated, but if there are any problems, maintenance responds quickly to address it. The property is absolutely beautiful with a clubhouse, swimming pool, basketball court, and a tennis court. There is a large pond with ducks and a pier for fishing. Absolutely recommend this property.
Hi my names David I just moved into my apartment March of 2015 at the landings it's a very nice place and peaceful place to live it has a pool also has a tennis court and basket ball court and a very big pond you can fish in or watch the ducks play all the apartment come with a nice fire place and our very well up kept from the maintance worker and has a nice cozy setting for it to be a apartment complex its pet friendly and has a park like two streets over is a perfect place to start out at
our apartment complex is the most desirable and beautiful apartments ins the area. Everyone who visits us cant believe the beauty of the place!!! The rooms are large and comfortable combined with the great pool and the 22 acres we are situated on make apartment life extremely enjoyable!!
