An easy 20-minute drive via Interstate 26 takes residents into downtown Charleston and its multitude of restaurants and bars. Property Ratings at Lakewood Lodge
I hope you have a week to burn calling these people because emailing them is useless and I can call them 3 times a day for a week, and I am lucky to get them to pick up the phone once. Waste of everyone's time.
Updated apartments. Helpful and kind staff. If there is a problem, they are quick to help you resolve it. Beautiful lake on grounds with a fishing dock. Kitchen could stand to be bigger, but appliances are new. Worth checking out!
Though we had a few issues, like slow maintenance resolutions, and hoodlums running a muck, this is apartment made a great home to my family of 4 for over a year. I would have continued living here had not my personal and financial situation changed. It is great if you're looking for seclusion that is still close to town. (You can walk to Walmart on Rivers Ave. or catch the bus by Trident Tech.)
The apartments are spacious, maintenance is very responsive and quick. For the price it is a good value. It is the little things here that are annoying. The laundry facilities are sub contracted out and are not kept up well at all. There are washers that have been broken for months and dryers that don't heat up. People mark them as broken and someone removes the out of order sign and they are not fixed, fooling you into using them again. There are so many dryers that don't work it is hard to figure out from week to week which ones do. The equipment in the fitness center has been broken for months.
