I signed a lease based off of a virtual tour that was misleading. Physical condition of apartment was unsatisfactory for rental price. Paint and caulking smeared on the floors. Visible gap between carpet and baseboards. Carpets have mild staining. Some cabinets are worn and outlet covers not secured. Space and layout of apartment is not efficient. Nevermind that you have to pay to park in front of your own building.

The apartments are nice enough but there isn’t a lot of sound proofing. Also the parking isn’t great people park really close to the parking lot entrances so it’s hard to get out of them safely.
A great community to live in that is a bit of a central hub with most major locations in central PA being within a 15-20 minute drive. No major complaints.

My experience at Lakewood Hills Has been pretty pleasant. The neighbors are nice. The neighborhood is great. The area is always clean and the maintenance is great.
Lakewood apartments is wonderful!! The place is always clean, the neighbors are quiet and respectful, and the maintenance team is always available if you have an issue. would recommend for anyone with a low budget moving to the area. I wish we had more parking spots though!
Love it here. The office staff are friendly and make me feel like I’m welcome even if I’m addressing a problem. Maintenance addresses concerns quickly and professionally. We have been here 1 year and I look forward to at least a few more!
It’s been great living here. Very relaxing, accommodating and so pet friendly. My daughter loves it here. I love being able to walk my dog around here.
Aside from the black mold , and the outlets in the bathrooms not working ,the staff is great and very responsive . I just don’t think my apartment is worth what i’m paying for it a month, i have friends in houses bigger than my apartment and they’re paying the exact same in rent.

Some of the homes are outdated, but that is my only real complaint. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly, and the entire complex is very quiet, clean and peaceful while also being pet friendly. The maintenance staff is one of the best I’ve interacted with in terms of accommodating individual requests and prompt responsiveness. The insulation in the townhomes is phenomenal as I can never hear any noise from either of my neighbors. The location is very convenient with many choices of shops and food close by.
Staff members have been very accommodating and kind, facilities are well maintained and kept up to date, and the area is very pleasant to be in.

I’ve lived here for almost 6 months now and I can say I enjoy the community! There is plenty of parking, my 1 bedroom renovated apartment is very cozy and if I have any issues maintenance is there very quick. Everyone is very friendly and I love that it is a quiet and inclusive area.

We need the dog park to be secure. Dogs can get out from under the fence. I would also like to see another dog run over by the pond. Having an opportunity for the dogs to get out and run is essential to their mental and physical health.

The new renovated townhomes look nice.. we have the outdated version and it needs upgrades. There’s hardly any storage, it looked way bigger online.

Clean quiet ducked off community very kid friendly I love it here. My son loved the pool this summer and we have yet to use the tennis court and grills but we intend on using those incentives

It's a nice, big yet, quiet complex. It's in a great residential area and next to a hospital. Management is great and respond to your needs pretty quickly. Plenty to do around the complex. Maintenance have in my experience responded and fixed my issues in a timely manner, which were minor things, to be honest.

I love it here. I’ve been here 10 years now and have no plans of leaving anytime soon. The rent is affordable. Have a good neighbors. It’s a good neighborhood. The amenities are great.
It was very disappointing that Morgan Properties designated certain days for resident appreciation, yet this property did nothing. While there are resident events throughout the year, it's does feel hurtful. At least the Leasing Agents, Leasing Manager and Assistant Property Manager are always super friendly and helpful.

While some other communities do 1 event on a desiganted "Resident Appreciation Day", we hold multiple events every month to ensure more residents can participate. Please be sure to check your email/resident portal for event dates and information. If you have suggestions on events you would like to see, please contact the office and we will do our best to put them on the schedule!
So far so good, every month they have a few different things going on. If a pet is lost they send out an email letting everyone know. They also keeps a very clean surrounding kind of make you feel like a home away from home.
The staff is awsome! Work orders are always completed quickly by friendly and knowledgeable maintenance staff. The community events are fun. It really is like we are in our own little community.

Lakewood is a diverse community. The neighborhood is quiet and accessible. The maintenance team is outstanding. The only problem living in Morgan Properties is the $75 amenities fee and how the sewer usage is calculated.

We understand your concern about the Amenity Fee, but please keep in mind this covers your provided internet access and this price is much lower than the standard service rate offered. Regarding your concerns with the water/sewer calculations, they are based off of occupancy in the home to provide as accurate billing as possible. Not worth the price and also there are hidden bills we wasn’t aware of that we had to pay!!!!!!not to mention 2 months pay to leave before the lease ends

I will be ending my lease this year. I have been here five years and I now feel like a number instead of a respected tenant. The community is also changing for the worse and I no longer feel as safe as I once did.

It’s a good place to live. It’s a little loud but other than that worth the cost. Always keep track of when maintenance is coming as they do leave doors unlocked and lights on.

Really appreciate how timely maintenance is. They are also very nice and I see them smiling even as they are driving and walking around. It is a nice chill vibe here. Lots of space, has a campus feel with all the sidewalks in between buildings. The staff pick up trash as well which I think is very considerate. Office is always providing creative, free community events each month.
it's been pleasant aside from the price jumps with our rent after the water and sewage.. makes it hard to sometimes budget for rent , other bills , and food . It's quiet here though , and i love the responsiveness of the office !
my family and i love it here. the neighbors are great as well as the leasing and maintenance people. communicating with the leasing office has been nothing but pleasant.
Area is nice and very peaceful. Always feel safe here and my daughter loves being able to run around outside and not have to worry about the activities that go on within the city of Harrisburg. Yes it may be pricey but my family’s safety and peace is more important and I’ll pay more for a decent community or area.

Make sure you see your actual unit, not one that “looks just like yours” before accepting the lease. Not all units are renovated, you will view a renovated one and get placed in a “standard” one.

Very good place so far, we just have moved into a town home, and there were a few issues but they were resolved within a matter of minutes. So far so good!
So far is has been a messy process but a fun one. The staff have been kind, especially Amanda. We were lucky to have her guide us home. First day I got yelled at by neighbor for slamming doors...I just moved in lol but they were kind once they realized we just moved in too.
The community feels safe and is mostly quiet. Maintenance responds to requests quickly, but doesn't communicate with tenants about what they did and if they need to return. Unless you happen to be home when they come by (which is a toss up since they don't schedule a time) you will be in the dark and left to discover what happened in your unit while you were gone. Amenities are often nice, but not upkept unless a tenant explicitly goes to the office and asks for something to be done. For example, the tennis court may be covered with leaves in the fall, the gym may be missing wipes or covered in spider webs. They are happy to take care of these issues if asked, but are not actively checking to discover them themselves.
Nice and quiet, very clean on the inside and fantastic staff. The community amenities are something I am really looking forward to. Thanks Amanda for the fast turn around!
Everything is going great far! My dogs really enjoy the extra space and activities in the complex. I look forward to recommending friends to move here in the future.

Awesome! The community is very nice and well put together. I do wish all the apartments were upgraded. The gym is not much of a gym. But they have a pool, corn hole and bikes to rent!
