Living in Aurora, Illinois combines suburban comfort with city amenities in Chicago's western suburbs. As Illinois' second-largest city, Aurora offers housing options throughout its distinct neighborhoods, from historic downtown residences to newer construction on the Far East Side. The Fox River flows through the heart of the city, where the restored downtown features the historic Paramount Theatre and an expanding selection of local businesses. Outdoor recreation opportunities abound along the Fox River Trail system and at Phillips Park, home to a free zoo and golf course. Current rental data shows one-bedroom apartments averaging $1,607 per month, reflecting a 5.2% increase over the past year.
Aurora's history shines through its nickname "City of Lights," earned in 1881 as one of the first U.S. cities to implement all-electric street lighting. The community houses several educational institutions, including Aurora University and the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Lakeview Residences
I love it here. There is a parking right across from the apartment complex. Great running trail in the park and 2 running trails close by (fox river trail and VL Gilman trail). Quiet place to live and maintenance requests are always completed in a very timely manner.

Hi there! It makes us happy to hear how impressed you've been with our lovely community and its prime location. We can't thank you enough for taking the time out of your day to share your experience and this wonderful rating. Please don't hesitate to reach out should you ever need anything; our dedicated team is always here to help. Have a beautiful day!
I love it here. Right across from park, running trail surrounding lake, zoo, baseball diamond, aquatic center, and skate park. No disturbing neghibors and management is always very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend living here.
I just wish I could give the office people 10 stars not the five they have here. They are wonderful to work with and try there best to help you find out what you need and want. I am glad and lucky that I stopped here to check. If you want a nice place to live and a great office people to work with this is were you want to be.
If u love mold, getting your car towed, ants, Asian beetles, drug deals, & babysitters in the office 24/7 this place is for you!
I have lived here for two years and have had numerous issues. Management changes every few months, water leaks everywhere, continual changes to parking regulations results in extra fees and towing, and raising the price of rent every year beyond the established norms. I would not recommend living here.
