The pictures are not as they seem, apartment is dark and dreary, not like the pictures. Grounds are always dirty, apartment has a very bad roach issue, its disgusting - they are everywhere. They exterminate but doesn't help, I personally hired a private exterminator and still after months have roaches, woke up to a roach in my bed..... this place is gross, pretty sure there are drugs also being sold out of this complex - I've lived here for almost 5 months, gun shots every other night, I am looking to leave ASAP! Laundry room is always dirty, cloths left in machines- rent is a never the same as they charge for city water, garbage, and other unnecessary charges usually adds 75-85 a month to your rent, water is dirty and smells and you have to pay for it. We pay for common area lights, which we should NOT, Rent service fee every month $6.50 each month ( this is nonsense) sewer which is never the same amount, this is another expense the mgmt. should be paying not the tenant, this is also never the same amount. This is the worst most dirtiest place I have ever lived, and I cant wait to move. DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!

Please trust when I say this is the worst apartment you will ever live if you choose to live here. I have a lot of regrets and one of my BIGGEST regrets in life was choosing to stay at lakeside under the worst management of all time.

1. New management group is just as bad as the last. 2. Now there is a platform fee to pay rent. No way to pay cash, and convenience fees on top of paying rent. 3. Rent increased over $150 within a year without any new improvements inside 4. If you have a patio you will be fined if you have anything on it. 5. You pay rent but can't even enjoy your patio without being harassed by front office about having things on it. 6. I have left 5 messages, emails, phone calls within 5 weeks, once per week, and no one replies back. I had yo go into office to see what the issue was. They stated they received them and will get around to the issue, 2 months later still no one has come out. 7. New painted apt. Across the way, painters did crappy job where they painted over the apt numbers and you can't even see them. 8. Windows and screens either are terrible looking or don't exist , so you can't even open up windows. 9. Blue absorbs heat instead of the cream they were which reflects heat so I'm sure their electric bill will be more. 10. They have doing new paint on outside, but inside repairs are still not being done. The list goes on. Make your decision wisely. Good luck with your apartment searching.
Used to be a great place to live, but since new owner/management have taken over it has become a joke. Grounds are filthy, nobody in office knows anything or seems to care. I've had requests for repairs in for weeks with no response or repair. Stay away !!!!!
Leasing agents are very rude, work orders take forever to be resolved, and it’s in a terrible neighborhood.
Dee was amazing! She was so kind every single time i called and visited. She made the move in process very smooth. I would recommend anyone to go see Dee at Lakeside for a very nice apt!!
My husband and I have lived at lakeside apartments for three years. it is a very nice quiet place to live. I have never had a problem here. If there is ever a problem with my apartment they have always been there to fix the problem day or night. We plan to be here for a very long time. If you are looking to rent an apartment I strongly suggest you check out lakeside.

I've been here for 2 years now and have loved every minute. The staff is wonderful and maintenance is very quick to getting around to anything that needs fixing. The pool is wonderful in the summer and is always clean, as well as the community laundry room. Our neighbors are quiet and never have any problems with noise.
