Property Ratings at Lakeside at Milton Park
Our third story apartment was quite nice! They had upgraded the counter tops to a nice granite and there is a tall 12' ceiling height in the Great Room which makes the apartment feel much larger. The maintenance staff is always very prompt, friendly, and helpful and the location of the apartments being so close to 400 made it easy to get to work whether you work downtown or up north towards Cumming.
Liz was great! I submitted my application online. The next morning Liz emailed to me all the information I needed including pictures of the exact apartment (site unseen). We spoke on the phone a day after (different time zone) Liz was helpful with answering my questions and let me know other documents I needed to submit. Liz processed my application quickly she even went in over the weekend (day off) to check on my application. Less than two weeks it went very smooth. THANKS LIZ!!!
This was the first post college apartment me and my wife got together. We lived here for six wonderful yars (it was our first apartment as young professionals) and we were terribly sad when we had to move (new job in Atlanta). The management team that is running Amli is the best in the business. They kept the property extremely well maintained, threw special events (the fourth of July fireworks were great), handled difficult situations, and were always patient with receiving and delivering packages. Shout out to the maintenance crew, they were also excellent. We will never forget our time here.
I have been living in AMLI (Milton Park) for 4 months and my whole experience there up to now is closed to the perfection. It's a peaceful area with a lot of green spaces and a beautiful lake. I used to live in Paris and the architecture of the buildings there makes me feel like back home in the difference that my apartment is really spacious for a one bedroom. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a luxurious place at an affordable price, away from downtown and close to the Mall and many others shops and restaurants. I love (almost) everything about this community. The location is central to just about anything you need. It's very close to the North Point mall, other shopping, dining, major corporations, walking trails, churches, entertainment and easy access to 400. If you don't feel like going too far for a bite to eat, there's an awesome cafe on site with the nicest staff and great pastries. You can burn off the calories with a walk around the peaceful lake. The community's landscaping and pool area is well maintained and the exterior breezeways and parking lots are kept clean. The maintenance staff can frequently be seen tending to the grounds and they respond very quickly to any requests, although I've had only a couple minor issues. The office staff is always friendly and helpful, especially Angie. I was able to cancel my gym membership because this gym has everything i need. The apartment units are spacious and open. The walls seem to be thicker than previous apartments I've lived in as rarely hear loud noises from neighbors. For the most part its quiet here and most people keep to themselves. The community will often hold gatherings and contests to try to bring the community together. As much as I adore these apartments, they are not completely problem free. Over the past year there have been a string of break ins at multiple complexes in the area. It seems our community was hit more than others because it is not gated. Management has taken steps to improve safety and increase awareness in recent months but it seems like they could've done more in the beginning to help prevent some of the later break ins. I know crime can happen anywhere but when we're being targeted the need to increase security should be more urgent. Other than that issue, these are the best apartments I've ever lived in. I'm very happy living here and I would recommend these apartments to others.
I moved to this apartment over a year ago to be close to my new office. The apartments are a little bit pricey, but I feel that you truly get what you pay for. Pool, gym, and community grilling facilities are all nicely kept. Maintenance issues are always resolved within a few days. Proximity to restaurants, shopping, and parks is convenient. The on-site pond and the nearby Greenway path provide a bit of nature. Inside the apartment, there are nice features, including large closets, washer/dryer connections, garbage disposals, large bathtubs, and an upscale aesthetic. If I were to change anything, I would want more counter space in the kitchen, a thicker floor/ceiling for less noise transfer, and a different trash disposal system (There's only one dumpster/trash compacter for a large area, and it's a long trek to make so frequently).
My husband and I just renewed our lease to stay at these wonderful apartments. The landscaping is gorgeous and very well kept. Tons of trees and benches to simply sit outside and enjoy. The pool is beautiful and the pool water is never freezing cold (I hate freezing water) so you can truly relax and enjoy yourself. There is a gorgeous fountain on the property that is so relaxing. There is also a lake on the property that has a walking trail around it, great for residents with pets!! Speaking of pets, there are numerous places to walk dogs and numerous dog waste baskets with provided dog waste bags. This property is VERY pet friendly!! I personally have never lived in an apartment (or house for that matter) that is so quite. We have GREAT neighbors and have not had one single complaint regarding noise. The apartment units themselves are very spacious. Large bedrooms, nice kitchens and dining areas, very big living rooms, dual sink bathrooms, spacious bath/shower combination, and fantastic walk in closets. The views from the apartments are beautiful and serene. The staff is excellent, easy to contact, friendly, and the maintenance crew is top notch. The location is fabulous too...within walking distance to numerous restaurants and shopping. The only complaint that I DID have was crime. During the past year that we have been here there have been quite a few apartment break-ins. However, last week while I was home the apartment staff actually caught a would be thief trying to break into an apartment and Alpharetta police arrived and arrested the men that were involved in the break-ins. We now have a security team that patrols the grounds as well as many police officers patrolling the area. We feel very safe and comfortable here!! Overall, WONDERFUL apartment.
Living here is very convenient to a lot of stuff in the Alpharetta area. It's also close to GA 400 to get downtown. Very clean and a great atmosphere. We had a few mishaps with break ins, but the office worked hard with the local police to catch the people. This shows how much the people in the office care, and they are very nice. Great place to live.
I have never felt so blessed to be living in AMLI at Milton Park. They have everything that I have always wanted and could see myself living here forever, and I have lived in many different apartments in my lifetime
The floors are thin, and I can hear at times people below and above me. I've contacted the managers, and don't really fear like that there is that much concern. They have an excessive amount of rules for pool use. Feel like it's more geared toward older people there considering the friendliness and amount of rules. Godzilla still lives above me, and the apartment shakes when they are up through odd hours of the day and night.....
