Property Ratings at Lakeside Apartments
The apartment the itself is okay but any time there is a problem, it barely gets fixed, and if it does it only stays working for a small period of time. They also made it seem like anything we wrote on our “security deposit” slip in the beginning that seemed to be a problem as we were moving in, would be fixed or looked into in a timely manner. We had written at least at our air conditioning was smelling like it was burning and it even kept sending our fire alarm off. After a few days we ended up having to turn our air off frequently to make sure it wasn’t going off. Overall, a lot of inconveniences that have never been properly handled, and if you do want something fixed you have to constantly be in their face about it. The maintenance men have been kind, but they told me I needed a new dishwasher, and I asked if they needed me to submit another form to make sure it gets replaced. They ensured me it would be on their todo list, this was months ago. Now my roommate and I wash our dishes by hand, but definitely will not be here long enough to see the new dishwasher. Definitely disappointed at best.

We had mold growth that ruined a lot of our things during our stay. The hallways are filthy and smell horrible, the renter before us clearly had a cat as we tried everything to get the urine smell out of the carpet and walls nothing worked, and they did not clean the apartment well before we moved in , I had to go behind them and clean off layers of dirt and dust on top of the cabinets , we refused to use the air conditioner as it was so caked full of scum and dirt… very dirty place to live would not recommend.

The customer service at first was great, now if you have a simple question you can never get a hold of anyone in the office no matter what time of day you call. The neighbors keep to themselves but you can tell by the smell of the hallway that people smoke cigarettes in their apartment or even in the hallway if they are too lazy to go outside.

Moved in a few years ago. Super helpful when it came to everything. Everyone in my building at least looks out for everyone. I honestly wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!

Love the fitness room, private and nice walk on the beach afterward
This appartment complex is a joke! I moved in on April 2020 and have nothing but issues. Took a month to get a functioning mailbox. 2 weeks to get our washer and dryer and now its the middle of summer with an infant with an A/C unit that's (get this) spewing water INTO my appartment and a dishwasher that also dosnt work. The security doors are always proped open, you can never get ahold of the office, people always park in the cover parking you pay for and nothing happens. They don't fallow through with there noise complaints. Ive literally had to sleep on my living room due to neighbors dog locked in a cage all day. Don't rent here. We pay FAR to much money for this apartment and it ended up being the quality of a podunk motel that's over priced...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! This place is the worst apartment ever. Management and maintenance do not know what the hell they are suppose to be doing. The washers and dryers barely work, hallways in the building are always FREEZING and smell horrible. They do not put salt down in a timely fashion. Can you say LAWSUIT!!! The new apartment manager talks down to the tenants. Mr. Ramos you need to learn to develop people skills and stop making promises that you have no intensions of keeping!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am very disappointed in the quality and the maintenance of the apartments. Issues with neighbors such as smoking weed and doing other illegal substances. Yelling and Cursing in the middle of the night through the halls and the parking lot. Vandalizing of personal property. The management t is not following up on complaints and concerns. The hallways are dirty and continues to have an awful smell. The safety is also a concern, smoke detectors does not function properly, the security doors are always propped open for anyone to enter.
I moved here from out of state and it is scary to move to a new area and in a home - site unseen. I looked at the pictures online and loved it. I was so happy the day I arrived and it looked exactly the same as online! My apartment is so spacious and I love having the full size washer and dryer right in the apartment! The property is beautiful with the lake, hiking trails, disc golf, picnic areas and even a fitness center. The staff was so pleasant and helpful the entire time. Lakeside-you are #1 in my book!
