As its name implies, Lakefront is nestled along the southern end of Onondaga Lake, blending natural beauty with urban living. Lakefront provides many residents with views of the lake or Syracuse's Inner Harbor, a small waterfront greenspace that has become a hub for this neighborhood, hosting concerts, fireworks, block parties, and festivals throughout the year. Many rentals in the area are lofts or renovated factories and mills, giving the area an industrial-chic vibe. Lakefront has a surprisingly low cost of living and there are rentals available for every budget.
Along with several trendy bars and restaurants, Lakefront is home to Destiny USA, the largest shopping mall in the state. This mall provides an intriguing blend of high-end outlet stores and an array of popular retailers, keeping residents coming back with wine tastings, a go-kart course, charity events, and live music.

Property Ratings at Lakefront Lofts
We have been living at Lakefront Lofts for over a year now. We have an actual loft with an upstairs. The space is huge and perfect for us, our dog, and our cat. Super pet friendly. Super rustic and industrial finishes. The location is perfect as well. Basically 10 minute drive to any suburb.
We lived in the lofts for 1 year in a renovated apartment. Within 3 weeks we realized how cheap Sutton is and regretted it. All cheap ikea finishes, slate in the foyer and showers that they don’t care for (shower literally fell apart because they didn’t keep up with sealing the slate), moth infestation, wasp infestation, incredible amounts of dust because the ceiling was never renovated properly for living, and crappy appliances that leaked, didn’t work properly etc. Management is nice but never followed through on any issues and concerns. In that time we also saw neighbors coming and going like a revolving door. Don’t bother, you can get a much nicer quality place for much less money.

I am sorry that you were dissatisfied with your stay at the Lakefront Lofts. Sutton Real Estate is a 3rd party Management company and did not develop the property and therefore had no say in the materials used in its construction. I wish you had brought your unresolved concerns to management during your stay as we may have been able to address them while you were living on the property. We looked high and low for an apartment for my fiancé, myself, and our Boxer. Sheldon. There was always a weight restriction on the size of the dog or the apartment was in the wrong neighborhood. We wanted to be in downtown Syracuse because that is where we work. We saw our apartment now and our search was over. Hardwood floors, exposed beam ceilings, and brick walls have is the loft style fee we wanted. To top it off they allowed our 60 pound Boxer. Since moving in we've added a baby girl to the mix and we don't plan on moving anytime soon. Check this place out.
