Lake Pointe Apartments

I decided to move to this property. I had been trying for about 2 years but there was never an availability. I finally had seen that there was an apartment available and I hoped on it without hesitation. This community is nestled in a quiet peninsula along the Eau Claire and Wisconsin River. My apartment has waterfront views from all windows and it's so peaceful watching the gorgeous sunset every evening as I'm winding down. I also enjoy the sun peaking through 8n the mornings gently waking me up. I feel as though I am on vacation every day. My dog and I love walking on the waters edge and observing the wildlife. The community and the neighbors are quiet and very friendly. Some even gather in the community space in the mornings to play games, others enjoy sitting by the fire pit with their new friends; all enjoy the gorgeous views from our large patios. I joined this community during a transition in management. Most properties would experience a disconnect with their potential or existing tenants during such a change but I have to say, this wasn't the case. My move went smoothly because the manager Julie was phenomenal and clearly experienced. She answered all my questions very quickly and sent all documents and links immediately. She has given impeccable customer service. I also have to say John, our maintenance man is so great also. He responds very quickly and does all he can to help. I am pleased with our decision to move here and hope to be here for many years.

I moved to Lakepointe Apartments from Minneapolis in July 2021. I've been here just over a month, and I gotta say it's been a slice of heaven in just about every way that really matters. From the gorgeous waterfront view out my patio door to the well-kept and very spacious apartment itself, I feel like I'm on vacation instead of at home! Not that I don't feel at home here...I do. Friendly management and skilled, prompt maintenance make the tenant feel valued and welcome. The grounds are well-maintained also, and I really enjoy spending time out on my patio watching the squirrels, chipmunks, and birds. Living here, I got to introduce my grandson to fishing :) He's caught his first of many fish off the dock :) As far as outside noise, there's not much other than planes going in and out of the nearby Wausau municipal airport. Quite a change from where I come from in Minneapolis! I'd say if there's one drawback of this property, it would be the noise level between floors. My upstairs neighbor is very loud most mornings and that's annoying, but it comes with apartment living. Oh and there's the long walk from the apt bldg to the dumpsters, which I can see will be awful in the winter. Those small things pale in comparison to what a lovely community my son, my 2 cats and I call our new home :)

Lake Pointe was the home to myself and my pup for two years. There are several pros and cons of this lakefront property. Some of the pros were prompt snow removal, pet friendly, quick maintenance response, on the water with docks, and plenty of parking. Some cons were the price! Rent is extremely expensive and if you are like me, you'll be paying for a 'parking lot front property' (no water views anyways), expensive pay laundry, and being pet friendly; its always a toss up if you're going to get decent neighbors or not. My neighbors with dogs were awful for about 10 months until they finally got moved to the other building. I also learned that you have to pay for a garage, which is outrageous given the already insane rent cost. Overall, I would recommend if money isn't a concern and if you're struggling to find somewhere to bring your pets to! I was thankful for my time spent here but am equally grateful to be leaving and moving on to a cheaper alternative with my pup.

Apartments are spacious with individually climate controlled rooms. Nice patio decks on all. Snow removal is very prompt. Nice neighbors, pet friendly, fairly quiet, few children. Surrounded by water, you feel like you're outside the city with the convenience of being in it. Only negative is the dryers don't work very well.
