The community also sits 14 miles north of Downtown Shreveport since Shreveport and Bossier City’s downtown districts are just minutes from one another. The area is a mix of residential and rural, getting more rural the farther north of Downtown Bossier City you get. Amenity-laden apartments and cozy single-family homes make up the rental options of North Bossier. While shopping and dining choices are readily available in both downtown areas, more shopping and dining destinations are located within North Bossier itself along Airline Drive.

Property Ratings at LaCrosse of Bossier
Being a local family owned property makes this place amazing. The office staff are amazing. Work orders are quickly taken care of. Despite being close to i-20 the property is quiet and has a homely feeling. The owners will frequently drop by to check in on the property to ensure things are good and are very nice and friendly. Upgrades are happening daily to the property and its only getting better.
I was sick the whole time I lived there. Constant sinus infections & upper respiratory infections. When my first floor apartment was flooded from a leak on the third floor, they left mold and mildew everywhere. That’s when I realized why I had been sick for so long. AVOID THIS PLACE. Kilz covers mold it doesn’t remove it.
I would not recommend these apartments to no one. The very first month I moved here my vehicle was broken into. When I brought it to the managements attention (Megan) she stated, “what do you want me to do about it”. This was not the last time either. My vehicle was broken into a second time 8 months later. Nothing was done by the apartments. A memo wasn’t sent out or anything. It was kept hidden and they stated my vehicle was the only one being broken into. Also, parking is terrible! I paid for a covered parking 3 buildings down because there was never anywhere to park inside the gate and I was also over charged the last month and they never refunded me for it. They are now not returning my calls and not trying to do anything about it. I would definitely stay away from these apartments.
Everything about this place is amazing from the staff (especially the managers) super nice the maintenance crew are fast and know what they’re doing ..the cleanliness location etc HANDS DOWN BEST IN TOWN!!!!!!!????????
This was an awesome place to live! The office staff and maintenance are so helpful with every little thing. This property truly cares for each resident. They are prompt on any maintenance issues. If I ever move back to the area this will be the only place I will leave.
They are always in your apartment and never leave a note, I found out by a neighbor. They do keep your thermostat a set temperature. They also say they are pet friendly which is untrue they tell you that your dog cannot bark during the day because it will bother neighbors.
These apartments were once very nice. Now they’re old & tired. There’s mold and mildew everywhere that they just paint over. They come in and inspect your apartment without notice. They regulate your heat and air so you can’t even set it yourself. I set my air between 70-72 every night and it’s on 85 a couple of hours later. I wake up with an awful headache every morning. I have had a sinus infection, from the mold, since the week I moved in. They’re “privately owned” so they get around certain laws and regulations. Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
