The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It's awesome to hear that your experience at La Vue at Emerald Pointe Apartments has been smooth and stress-free from day one! We're glad our office staff and maintenance team have met your expectations. Thanks for the kind words about our community – we're thrilled to have you here!
The application process was smooth and easy. However, reaching someone by phone proved to be a challenge. Prior to moving in, I drove down to the leasing office, which was quite a distance from my previous home, in order to communicate with someone. They do respond to emails pretty well. Additionally, the deposit amount was honestly impressive. Many places require first, last, and security. I was approved for this unit in less than 48 hours. The first day presented some challenges, as several things were not up to my standards. However, after a walkthrough and communicating with Bianca on a Saturday, every single issue was resolved. I must commend the friendliness of the maintenance staff and their respectful and attentive approach to repairs, which made me feel welcomed. I cannot thank Bianca enough for going above and beyond to ensure that all my repairs were addressed. She truly made an effort to make me feel at home, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to move here. Bianca's exceptional service truly made a difference.

We're glad to know that you had a smooth application process and found our deposit requirements impressive. We apologize for the challenges in reaching us by phone, but we appreciate your patience and understanding. It's fantastic to learn that Bianca was able to address all of your concerns promptly, making you feel at home! Your recommendation means so much to us here at La Vue at Emerald Pointe Apartments – thank you!
This place used to be great. Rent prices were lower than the average and water was included. This is no longer accurate. Rent prices have sky rocketed horrendously and WATER is NOT INCLUDED anymore. Oh, and you get to split the water bill with the entire building because units don’t have individual water meters. Plus, now they implemented mandatory renter’s insurance, which was NEVER a requirement before. They won’t negotiate renewal rent prices so don’t bother trying. Appliances are from the 70’s and are about to stop working (fridge and dishwasher sound like hammering inside), walls are crumbling, and management doesn’t do anything about excessive noise. Honestly, you’re better off trying to buy a small apartment or townhouse or renting elsewhere.
I have lived here for a year and it has been the worst experience of my life. The water heater from the lady upstairs broke and my entire apartment got flooded with water. I live on the second floor. They knew the 3rd floor had that issue and they knew that the first floor was experiencing water coming from their roof but they did not even have the decency to call me and let me know. I got home at 11:30 am and my apartment was flooded. After that I started experiencing mold EVERYWHERE! I let them try to fix the situation and all they did was paint over it. Again the mold started coming back with a vengeance, and I spoke to the manager Tammy about how this apartment was no longer safe for my family’s health and that we need to be moved to a new apartment. She said she would talk to the landlord and give us a call back. Well... no call back. The maintenance people entered my apartment and bleached the place and painted over it. My whole place currently smells toxic and they expect me to sleep in here with my son who has asthma. My couch has white paint dots and dust all over it, my floors, furniture, dog toys all do as well. Tammy is the kind of manager that always has to be right and says no to everything. She’s extremely difficult to deal with. The maintenance people all they do is put a bandaid over the issue. I had to live in this place already twice while they painted it and it smelled toxic. As well as when my place was flooded and carpets were soaking wet with fans all over my apartment and dehumidifiers running up my electricity bill. They don’t care, they don’t lower the rent. Nothing! The place itself is super outdated. Cabinets are yellow and don’t even fully close, they are also chipped. Old appliances from like the 70’s. Bathrooms are so outdated they sprinkle dust every time you go near them. Carpets are nasty and yellow. Gate is ALWAYS broken. No security what so ever. All amenities have been closed since March due to Covid and we never got a break on rent since they are no longer being used. It’s December now and the pool is only open when requested in advanced, and it’s closed on Sundays. No other amenity is open. When I complained about not giving us a pay break they said that they offer online Zumba. Like really!!! Potholes all over the property. One maintenance guy left my door unlocked one time for hours, I noticed when I got home. You have to be on top of your maintenance requests, some won’t get done and they will mark it as completed.
Love my apartment, especially the views and being able to walk my dog around the lake. It is so peaceful and relaxing. The office staff is friendly and always greet me with a smile.
I had an amazing experience here. I was there for 2 years. The area and complex was very quiet. It was very up to date. The area was nice and beautiful. The things that can be improved is I think they should have security in the parking lot and maintence checkups. Thanks to the new management Val, who was very tentative to my needs and the staff was very understanding when I had to leave to move to another state for employment.
For two months there is nobody to cut the grass. Almost every day they stealing a motorcycle or tires in your cars in the parking lot and they do not report it to residents (get a report from Hollywood police before signing a contract). You complain about roaches for years they don't care. they change office employees almost every six months.
overpriced compared with other places and the fact that the apartments are small with old appliances not energy efficient so you will end paying a lot in your FPL bill.
If you want your space invaded without your permission move here! Oh & don't even waste your time calling the leasing office or reaching out to management they could care less. Rude, clueless & BLAN. Save your money & your valuables please and move else where.
I've been a resident here since 2013 and I love it. The office staff, especially Vanessa and Brett are always friendly and attentive. The maintenance staff is also very friendly, especially Freddie. Any time that I have had any issue that required maintenance; they were always quick to respond. I really love the peace and quiet here and the amenities that are available are great!
I have had the privilege of living in this community for over 6 years and although I have always loved the location and the apartments, I have not always cared for the management or staff. However, I must give credit where credit is due and I want to acknowledge the competence, kindness, and dedication of La Vue's newest team, specifically our wonderful property manager. I have been renting in Hollywood for 16 years and I have never been as pleased as I am now with the service we receive. Being a renter is just as important to this economy as being a buyer and this new team treats us all with the respect we deserve. I am happy to come home everyday! Thank you!!!
Close to highways but a hidden oasis of peace. A little bit nature around with a lake.
A pathway to peace and quiet. People that want to be close to shopping but nestled in the back to hear all the commotion of daily traffic.
I have been living here over 2 years. I found this place on Apartments.com after moving to South Florida. Neighborhood is very quiet, clean and safe. Highly recommend for a single female living on her own. The view of the lake is breathtaking every morning. But the kitchen, bathroom and applicances are very outdated. I would stay here forever If the bathroom and kitchen was made better. The rent has increased from $100 plus each yr. I continue to renew my lease due to Cable and Water included and I am very comfortable with the area. Also other apartments are a little more without cable included. Again highly recommended for a single woman.
My boyfriend and I have been living at La Vue now for 2 months. We moved here for work from out of state and stayed in a hotel for almost two weeks looking at several different locations in the Hollywood, FL area. As soon as we went to La Vue we knew it was the one for us! At La Vue you will find a friendly staff, a safe community and beautiful grounds with several breath taking views. After viewing the apartment and talking to the staff about our needs we were able to get into our apartment within 4 days. After moving in we discovered some problems with the AC and the maintenance staff fixed it immediately. Anytime we have needed any assistance they have been ready to help with smiling faces. Other perks are a dog park, two tennis courts, and two pools. Garbage pick up runs 4 times a week. I'm trying to think of any negatives it there hasn't been any what so ever I honestly can't imagine living anywhere else in this area!
