      Decent place to live if you are of low income and don’t care much about safety

      I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to any of my friends or family. They are quick to take your money but don’t care enough to take care of the residents. The leasing team doesn’t help or care as much as they should for the residents or the ones applying. The only person who was of help there was the assistant manger. He cares about the residents and does his best to help. Overall everyone there does not care or help.

      The staff is great. Maintenance is so much better since I've been living here. They also come right away and get the job done as soon as possible. Its just the neighbors, not everyone, of course, but others are inconsiderate and other people who aren't residents that come around.

      Since I moved in here 5 months ago I have nt had any problems with anything. The day the stove started acting janky I called they called back right away and few minutes later me stove was working correctly. Maintenance is clean prompt and polite and staff is vary attentive.

      It's a pretty setting but there's trash all over the place. I know there's only so much that can be done about that. Rent is a little high also but again, there's only so much that can be done about that.

      Maintenance is very friendly and helpful. The property itself is not the best. La vista is making strides to improve things, but there’s a long way to go. They don’t regulate how many people are living in the units. That’s very concerning. I can see bed sheets in living rooms to add additional “living” spaces. I’ve seen 10 or more people coming and going from a tiny unit meant for three people max. There are no regulations at all here. The only pool accessible is the one by the leasing office. The other one is always closed because no one monitors their children and it’s a free for all with kids vandalizing the pool area. It’s very sad.

      I was nervous about moving here at first, because I moved across the country and couldn't do the normal walk throughs and checks I would want to. But as soon as we arrived I was pleased. The apartment is great, the area is nice and clean, and the management staff is so nice.

      I think la vista is at a good location in Santa Maria, but maybe a little bit more cleanliness around the areas would make it more appealing to guests and future residents. Also the staff needs to work on communicating and showing more enthusiasm with future and current residents.

      La Vista is a good place to call home. La vista has its problems, but I have seen worse places that charge more. La Vista is working hard to make things better and keeping everything up to code and nice to look at. Everyone knows how hard it is to keep your home clean. Now try to keep a whole complex clean, safe, and well kept. Not so easy! Overall La Vista is doing a great job!

      I do enjoy living at La Vista, however their are a lot of hidden fees that I wasn't aware of. I feel the washer and dryer are too expensive and some need repair. Their are two dryers that need repair right now. one of which doesn't heat up and you won't know until you pay to turn it on. Over all la Vista is well kept up on compared to most apartment complexes.

      La Vista Apartments charges an arm and a leg they do not budge under rules and they do not provide you with the environment as they state it is infested with roaches and it is not properly cleaned for move in for the dollar that one is charged

      They have bed bugs and more they do fumigation every week but want u to move all ur stuff around this should be taken care of properly and they should be letting ppl know that theres bugs before getting u into a contract they really gotta tent the apartments looks nice but dont judge a book by it cover
