We love living here! It's our paradise in retirement ..the aesthetics , the management , the beautiful sunsets and the pool area overlooking the bay .we love everything . The manager Beth is such a joy to have as a manager! She goes beyond for her residents to feel welcomed and stays on top of the community for our safety and happiness ! Signed out 2nd lease

My girlfriend and I moved here last summer and have had a really good time so far! We have enjoyed the great community functions the manager and her team put on for us. Our neighbors are cool. We haven't been able to use all the amenities except the gym and movie theater. Very helpful and nice. We have enjoyed our home here. Plan on staying another year.

My husband and I have recently retired and decided to move here from Virginia. We've been very pleased with our neighbors, the office team and maintenance. One small issue with our microwave, but maintenance was out same day and took care of it. This is our fourth month here and we are really enjoying it!

I can’t say enough about this complex. This sadly is my last month here. Job related. Beth and her staff are EXTREMELY kind and welcoming. Maintenance crew is too notch! Any problems were fixed typically within hours. Last but not least, the pool! THE POOL! Oh how I’ll miss the pool and the view! I love the events they throw are so much fun and really bring the neighborhood together.

Best sunrises! Great management and maintenance team! My apartment is pretty spacious; I've received lots of compliments. Events are alot of fun! Small issue with my ac, but was fixed quickly! I love it here!

My son and I moved in to La Joya about 9 months ago! We've had the very best experience, and I thought I'd take some time to shed positive light on that! The stress of moving from another state for a job opportunity was high. The transition to find a home wasn't. My leasing consultant, Angela, answered all my questions and concerns immediately. The day of move in was a breeze! Functions have been great, my neighbors like to cookout at the pergola and my son has made a couple of friends! The manager, Beth and assistant manager, Desirea, offered to take my trash out one afternoon while driving on their golf cart! We've had an awesome experience! La Joya has a professional team with really good hearts!

My son and I have lived at La Joya for almost 3 years now! Designated Fishing spots, nice gym! We live in a 2 bedroom apartment over looking the water and I ha e to say we’ve seen the most beautiful sunrises here! Staff is nice and neighbors have been really sweet to us!

The apartment complex is going downhill. The gates always break down and are consistently left open. Cars are constantly being stolen from right in front of your apartment! The buildings have issues with foundation. This place is horrible right now.

My partner and I moved in February of this year! With the pandemic lingering and a very stressful move from Missouri I must say I was truly impressed! We planned our move two months prior and must have talked to every person in the office. From our leasing person to the manager. Everyone answered all our questions, concerns and requests. On our day of move, our transition was such a breeze! our apartment home is beautiful with some of the best views of the bay! We had a small issue with maintenance, they came out took care of it same day and we haven't had any issues since! Our neighbors are great! We love the functions and monthly Saturday Yoga! Very happy we chose La Joya Bay Resort! We definitely recommend!

All of the ladies in the office has been more than helpful with any issues i’ve had. The community itself is very welcoming and friendly! I’ll definitely be renewing my lease!

Security system has been broken for two months so I’ve been unable to obtain a device that opens the main gate, gym and pool access. I’m continually told that there is nothing that management can do to expedite the repair and that it’s an issue with the owner. There have been numerous car break ins and stolen items within the complex yet there appears to be no urgency to repair a security system??? Additionally, without a device to open the gate, all new residents end up waiting by the gate to follow behind a car with a working device. Apartment repairs are also slow to be addressed. My apartment was missing a bathroom door when I moved in and it took weeks for management to get one installed. The property looks nice when touring but there are a lot of problems under the surface.

I am very happy with my decision to move in to La Joya. I love waking up and walking my dogs along the water. I know they enjoy it too. The pool is an oasis, I go almost every other day! The location is perfect, equidistant from downtown, the island, and the south side. And to top it off, I have friendly neighbors (that’s a rare thing these days.) office and maintenance have addressed all my needs professionally and timely. Zero complaints.

My husband was given orders for NAS-CC last year! We moved from Pensacola, Fl. We were told good things about La Joya Bay Resort, so I gave them a call...AND I am glad we did! The staff accommodated us in more ways than 1! Our move was made easy, (paperwork, setting up services, etc.) We were greeted with a nice move in gift and smiles from the office staff! The manager, Beth even came out and welcomed us! My husband received his orders to move again, so we will be off to another adventure soon! We are going to miss our wonderful neighbors, the beautiful views, and the functions put on by the staff! Wine down Wednesday was our fav! The functions helped keep or community together and we appreciate them so much! I will highly recommend this community to anyone looking in the Corpus Christi area. I moved to Corpus in 2016 from Houston this is the only place that compares to big city living. The units are huge and the amenities are the best around. Management is so helpful and understanding and the rest of the staff is always friendly. I recommend this place to everyone looking for an apartment.

The best apartments I have ever lived in! The views are amazing, the staff are like family, and my neighbors are the sweetest! Thanks to the team and the manager for always taking care of us residents!

This place is beautiful!!! Walked in to take a tour and signed that same day. The workers there are so nice and the manager even came up to say hello to me. Loved that they make you feel so at home. This Place is amazing and the layouts are so fantastic. Loved the infinity and lap pool they have and found out they are the only apartment complex in-town to have that.

La Joya Bay Resort is such a beautiful property! By far the best apartments I have lived in, the staff is so sweet and they truly care about us as residents! I will always recommend these apartments!

Best place to rent in corpus! Nobody else compares!

I just reviewed the one poor rating here, and I am flabbergasted. I have had such an incredible experience at La Joya - I am an attorney from Illinois, lived in a home for the past decade and was hesitate to rent again, but decided to do so to get to know the area. La Joya Bay has been paradise for me and my family - incredible pool & hot tub area, right on the bay (highly recommend paying extra to get a bay facing apartment - beautiful morning sun rises). Beth is incredible - so caring and prompt responses to all inquiries, apartment issues have been very minor & handled promptly (very rare to not be completed in less than 24 hours). Very impressed. Is it a bit more expensive than other locations? yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely - every bit. I'm actually wondering if I will ever own a home again & just live here henceforth. :)

I've lived at la Joya for a year and it's been the worst time of my life. I literally cry because I'm stuck in this lease at a place I know isn't structurally safe. I'm praying a strong wind doesn't blow my building into the bay. All of my windows leak. I can smell my neighbor smoking inside my apartment. People are always parting in the parking lot, blaring music or fighting. I haven't slept an entire night since I moved in last year. The staff is inconsistent with policies and avoid repairs. This is anything but a resort, it feels like a prison.

First of all, I would like to thank Rose in the leasing office. She has provided detailed information which has made my daughters apartment search so much easier. Anytime my daughter Shelbi or I have questions; Rose is very quick on answering them. She is professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the property. Rose is fantastic; she has made the process of leasing an apartment as painless and non-stressful as possible. I would also like to give a shout out to Sandy in the leasing office, when Rose has not been available, Sandy has been able to answer some of my questions I may have. I would definitely recommend La Joya Bay the staff. Thanks again, Debbie

I've lived here over a year and love everything about it! Apartments are huge, view and pool are incredible, and the staff and management are top notch!

I've lived here for the past year. There have been some management changes and the current manager Mary is the best! All the staff are friendly and helpful. Maintenance is fast and effortless. They have great amenities like a game room, 24 hour gym and movie theater. Plus the pool is unbelievable with an amazing view! The apartments are beautiful and quiet (which is a bonus for someone who works nights and sleeps days). The location is perfect as it is close to the city but within walking distance to a great wildlife refuge and minutes from the beach. The only down side is that rent is a little high but it is definitely worth it!

In this part of Corpus Christi it is hard to get away from all the partying college kids; but this place is certainly the place to do it.... Probably because it is so expensive most college students can't afford it. The view is beautiful and the pool is fantastic, but it does have it set backs. Being this close to the water mold grows like no other... and the water occasionally smells... like really bad, which is probably not healthy. I do enjoy the updated amenities, which look expensive (but aren't) which is why I have to keep calling maintenance to fix things in my apartment. All-in-all I enjoy living here, just wished I would have looked around more first.
