Property Ratings at Kitty Hawk Apartments
If everything worked as hard as Tim and Darrell, it would be the best complex in Columbia. These guys work their butts off and are happy to always help. I have really appreciated all the work they've done. The complex itself is pretty nice. Apartment is clean and sharp. Grounds are well kept. Front office has been friendly and helpful but in my experience, the maintenance guys are the MVPs.

The front office likes to say one thing and go back and do something different then say it’s not their fault. Was promised 1st level apartment then found out on the moving day that it was in fact a second level and we weren’t even notified. If you do choose to live here just make sure that everything they say is in writing as they will wiggle their way out of any requests or agreements

They have worked with us to move in on the right date, answered all of our questions, showed us different places that were clean and new. I think this place will be a great place to live, with friendly neighbors and staff
The apartments are beautiful and the service is awesome. It’s just a quiet and pretty place to live.
Poor management, the office staff don't seem to recognize any questions or concerns you might have about a unit as legitimate. Took several tours and expressed concern about the condition of a few places and after moving in those concerns have NOT been alleviated.

We lived there for 2 yrs and aside from a few things we could do without they were nothing but great to us. Maintenance is very prompt and pleasant when it comes to fixing anything that’s having issues. Ben and Ronda were amazingly polite and easy to deal with!
Kitty Hawk recently went under new management, and it's been downhill since then. They've lost my rent payment, they've sent multiple people into my apartment WITH ZERO WARNING like three or four times last year alone, they "forget" to run my auto-payment, their voicemail system doesn't work, the email address the office secretary gave me bounces back as MAILER DAEMON (i had to call them and get their correct email from their voicemail recording which, mind you, doesn't ACTUALLY take your voicemail)... The list goes on. It's exhausting. They literally only get a 2 from me rather than a 1 because this area is pretty quiet, and my neighbors are quiet and keep to themselves.
Kitty Hawk does all they can to care for their customers. Their quick and friendly maintenance team is at the core of tenant satisfaction.

Excellent location right off the interstate, very affordable rent and great amenities! Neighbors are friendly and respectful. Perfect place for first apartment or those looking for something different than college apartments. Awesome management makes it a 5 star home!
