Property Ratings at Kirkwood Place
The management team here is rude and unhelpful. Anytime you go to the office to ask a question they write it down on a sticky note and tell you they’ll get back to you and never do. The emergency maintenance number doesn’t work, I called and got no answer. No courtesy officer in this “luxury” community, so noisy neighbors you just have to deal with them. And if you have a dog absolutely do not move here! They DNA swab dogs to promote a clean community. It was supposed to be a prevention measure to be able to catch people who were leaving dog poo around but it turned into them just charging random people. There is no negotiating it either, the fine is $250 but they refuse to give you the proof of the match. The list could go on and on.
WARNING LONG POST: Currently still a resident, moved here in middle March of 21. I give it two stars because the places is nice on the outside and it’s a safe gated community but are moving experience was not great. We toured the place in February and during that time, it was under a different management company. The person that gave us a tour was so professional and welcoming that I felt good about becoming a resident. Come March, we call and find out that it was under new management and the person that gave us a tour never submitted our paperwork for our apartment so we didn’t have an apartment at all. So we had to do the whole process again. That was red flag #1. Red Flag #2 was when we moved in the apartment was filthy. Nothing was cleaned. There was a hole on the wall from previous tenants, grease stains on the wall. The dish washer was full on old food and grease. It smelled so bad. Took me all day to have the smell go away. Red flag #3 was when my fiancé went to the office and a staff member was busy with a future tenant, he catch one the the staff members say that OUR apartment was AVAILABLE at this point we have already been living in it for a month! Red Flag #4 the walls and ceilings are paper THIN, you can hear everything! Currently having a who can bang on the walls louder with our upstairs neighbors. Trash doesn’t get picked up like it should. Staff members don’t really care. Our dryer hasn’t worked properly since we moved in. There really not enough storage space. Other than that it’s a FINE place to move into! ??????
Very nice apartment complex. Benefits included gated community, clean pool area, nice workout area, overall very satisfied. I would definitely recommend this complex to any people that inquire about the complex
Great location! Kirkwood is close to groceries, shopping, medical, and restaurants, but still far enough to be in a quieter setting. Nice amenities and super helpful staff. Jill S
I think signing for an apartment from across the country with no ability to see it in person is daunting. The kirkwood staff made the entire virtual pictures, tour, information, and leasing process a breeze. Their communication is great, and they’re super friendly. The apartment was in incredible condition and the amenities are hard to beat. The neighborhood is quiet and parking is easy. Highly recommend to anyone.
Kirkwood is a very nice, clean apartment and a great place to live. The amenities are incredible and extremely useful. Events that are put on by the staff are fun and build a sense of community that members of the community enjoy.
Im very impressed with Kirkwood Place. Even though my husband and I do not have any pets, the Doggy Park and Pet Spa is impressive. I love the complementary coffee/latte in the lobby especially since there is no counter space in our apartment to it my Kurig.

I have lived in Kirkwood for over a year now and have absolutely enjoyed everything about it. The amenities are great and the price is reasonable considering the perks. The staff is always friendly and eager to help out. As a father, I love knowing my kids can wonder the complex and remain safe. Absolutely 10/10 for would recommend!

My experience so far has been excellent at Kirkwood Place. From touring, leasing and move in. Adrianna was amazing from start to finish from touring to move in. She did not mind that I kept coming back to ask questions or to see the apartment again. The apartment is amazing. Extremely nice kitchen appliances, spacious bedrooms, closets and living room. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for an apartment to check Kirkwood Place out.

Kirkwood Place is a beautiful and lively apartment complex with great location. The pool, gym, clubhouse, and community are great, as well as the floor plans and size of the apartments. However, during move-in, I found mold in kitchen cabinets caused from a water leak under the sink. The water leak caused the cabinets to warp. I was told it would be handled while I was out of town, however, I came back to the job partially completed and was told the cabinets would not be replaced. It is frustrating in the way the situation was handled. Also, the outside doors on the apartments are extremely loud when they slam shut. All in all, Kirkwood Place is a nice place to live, I just wish the situation with my apartment would have been handled differently.

As I was apartment searching I was looking at reviews and I was stuck between Kirkwood place and another apartment complex but Kirkwood places reviews were far better than the other apartment in my choice . Kirkwood Place has a beautiful common ground between apartment complexes that makes the land appear larger and more personal. The cleanliness of the apartment complex is what convinced me to decide to lease here. A bonus about the apartment is that it is very quiet and never hear my neighboors.

Before I even moved in, management was on point with the application, information upon move in, and updates. I have never met staff whose that dedicated and cares that much about their residents moving in. And when I did move in it was the best day and since then I dont have any problems. Its so peaceful here. I love it.

Eric and Adreanna have been nothing but helpful, welcoming, and extremely positive to work with throughout the entire process of finding and moving into my new apartment. If you have any experience working with apartment management teams, you know how rare that is to find. Eric promptly answered any questions I had throughout the last month of deciding on a unit, answered my questions during the application process well outside of business hours, helped me submit the application and get moved in in less than a 24 hour turn around, noticed the hot water wasn’t working prior to my move in, and got maintenance to come out and fix it before I arrived. Really nice apartment units and amenities, but it’s all about the people, and Eric and Adreanna are the best! Couldn’t recommend Kirkwood Place more!

Everyone on the management team have been gracious and extremely helpful from the first tour of the property, throughout the move in process as well as the minor maintenance issue I experienced. The response time is GREAT. That is very important to me because I work a lot and time is always of the essence. Eric and Adrianna have been informative and helpful. Eric has been nothing but helpful through the application and touring process! He always responds quickly to my messages and questions, and gave us a great tour of the complex! I love how pet friendly Kirkwood Place is as it’s often difficult to find accommodations for your pets- especially such new and modern apartments. Kirkwood has all the amenities you could want (pool, gym, outdoor space to host etc), so it’s great not to have to compromise on anything you’re looking for in a place to live!
