Kennedy Place Townhomes

This is just a warning for future renters. I moved out early but paid my lease off. I had to continue to pay the utilities on the apartment until the lease ended. Before I moved out, I patched the holes in the wall from hanging pictures and cleaned the entire apartment before I left. Not only did they keep the security deposit, but they also charged me 168 dollars for painting the whole apartment, 110 dollars for cleaning and 73 dollars for carpet cleaning. The argued the painting of the drywall patching, they said because there was a hair tumbleweed, crumbs on the countertop, and the stainless-steel appliances were smeared, the justification of the cleaning fee. Carpet was the exact same when I moved out. So, for future renters, they will find a way to charge you, because I am telling you, the place was spotless when I moved out, they had to take a magnifying class and find crumbs to find another charge. On top of that, I had not heard from them in months, and they send a final bill and a required response of two days, or they send it to collections. I had never had issues with apartment complexes like this before, so please my advice is to take your business elsewhere.

I highly recommend moving here. Quite area and great location. Staff is always professional and friendly. Fitness center is clean and hours are convenient.

My job transfered me from Texas, I found the townhouse site unseen, just on line. Transactions were smooth. Also the ladies in the office have been wonderful. Everytime I call or go into the office, they are respectful, intuitive and eager to help. Every request, issue or problem was taken care of promptly. The grounds are clean, the gym is nice. I'm totally satisfied with my choice. Even the surrounding community has lots going on. Now not happy that I can't use my gas grill for my wonderful open airy deck, total disappointment for someone that loves to entertain ????

The manager and her assistant are very rude, they wasted my time and money with the application and I could not even see the apartment inside. They do not attend you if it is not by appointment and you talk to them from the door, they do not even let you pass to the office I took 4000 background check a month and I was not approved

RUDE and money hungry. We couldn't see the townhome to do a walk through. Found another place to rent and told them to stop the application and refund us our hold deposit. They refuse and make excuses. We now get to take them to small claims to deal with them. 10/10 don't recommend.

Don’t rent from these people! They will rip you off! Put a notice on your door for everything! They are completely RUDE! UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!! You’re better off somewhere else!

I am not writing this out of anger. But living here was one of the worst mistakes of my adult life. I would HATE for someone to be in the situation that I was in with these people. I have since moved and feel like life is so enriched now! Everyday I go 'home' to my new place I feel overwhelmed with having got out of the awful lease with Melody and Kennedy Place. I moved there before the new management came along. THEN, it was truly a home like townhouse community. But when the new people came they started changing everything. (Which is understandable - but to a point) They made me get rid of my cats that I had for 3 years. I told her that it was myself, my child and my cats, they were my babies also - part of my family. "She said It was in the new lease." I needed my place to live, so I got rid of them, and it broke our hearts. Afterwards my daughter had a small snowmobile on the back patio of our "Home" , she said no toys allowed on the back patios of any kind. I said okay and got rid of it. Then if I was gone for a weekend and I had a note on Monday morning. Stating, " I need to let the office be aware if I wont be home for over 24hrs". I could go on & on about this place. But just save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. Everything that glitters isn't gold. is this case - it truly wasn't. I feel bad if people are still stuck in this terrible place that want to leave but can't. For whatever reason. Good luck!!

WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!! THE APARTMENTS ARE DECENT ITS THE PROPERTY MANAGER ! I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR A FEW YEARS NOW. BEFORE THEY TOOK OVER AND AFTER. THIS WOMAN IS EVIL! SHES NEVER AT THE OFFICE ON TIME! SHE DOES NOTHING BUT complain ALL DAY. THEY GO INTO YOUR APARTMENT WHEN YOUR NOT HOME I SEE THEM GO INTO THIS SAME APARTMENTS ALL THE TIME!!! Do not move here if the property owners were wise they would get rid of her. I would give it a negative 5stars just off of my experience with her alone. Do yourself a favor dont move here. They made a mistake hiring her . & Im not angry I just wished the new owners would have picked better for us. Im warning you like I wished someone would have warned me. Dont move here if this woman is here when you feel out your app.

This place is a scam! The Maneger of the property is rude as can be. The rules are different for everyone. Some people can have grills some can't! Large dogs aren't allowed yet the grounds keeper gets to have a HUGE boxer! The apartments look nice at first but once you've lived in them you realize they are old and everything was just painted over. This place is ran incorrectly. I've seen everyone leave and no one move in! The parking lot is empty and it feels like an abandoned apartment complex! At first we though this would be our dream apartment until we bought a home but now we have realized this was the worst mistake and can't wait until we move out in a couple months!

This is the perfect place if you like a quiet and peaceful space. It's like being on a retreat where you are surrounded by a beautiful piece of nature. The grounds are well maintained and everyone is friendly. It's conveniently located to all your shopping needs and easy access to the interstate. KRB, Louisville KY

I live in a peaceful apartment complex. There are residents of all ages. Close to shops and restaurants. Competent landlord and office staff. I've lived here for 9 years. I am content to stay.
