Kennedy Highlands

I’ve been living here for almost 8 months and I have nothing but good things to say about Kennedy Highlands. The staff here have been extremely helpful since before I moved in and they continue to provide great and timely service. Facilities are always well-kept, the location is absolutely perfect, and neighbors are friendly and considerate.

My wife & I had a wonderful time living in an apartment at Kennedy Highlands. Both the apartment and the facility as a whole were very clean and up to date. The office and maintenance staff are extremely friendly and helpful - everyone there goes out of their way to ensure all of their residents are happy. Right after we moved in, our 4th floor ceiling developed a hole after a heavy rain shower. Maintenance was over a few minutes after we called to inspect it and then had it repaired and painted by the end of the week. The location of the apartments is fantastic! Great views of the city and valley if you are on a higher floor (probably what we miss the most!). 5 minutes form I-79, 15 minutes from Robinson and a 20-30 minute commute to Downtown in the morning. My only criticism is that the apartments and townhomes share the same fitness center and pool, so it gets very crowded. Short term fix - enforce an adult swim time so that the pool isn't overrun with kids all day in the summer. Long term fix - build an additional fitness center and pool on the townhome lot so everyone can enjoy the amenities. Overall, I would highly recommend living here. We're very happy that we did - had we have not purchased a home, we would have definitely stayed longer.

Stay away. The townhouse hybrids have the thinnest walls of any place I've ever lived. It feels like all my neighbors are in the room with me and a parade of elephants are above. Their online systems are also horrible and can easily end up costing you money. Their online payment system told me I was all paid up with a zero balance. Two days later they delivered me a no payment notice and a 10% late fee. So their system gave me incorrect information and made it impossible for me to know my automatic payment didn't go through (due to billing address change) until they charged me with a late fee. They promised to clear our driveways and walkways of snow, and have yet to touch our driveways. The dumpsters aren't emptied often enough and trash will be piled around it. This is all my experience after living here only a month!

As part of a ‘work relocation’ - we moved to Kennedy Highlands from out of state. We were impressed by the clean and new construction there – but only intended to stay in the apartment for 6 months (with our sights set on buying a house). The support staff, amenity comforts, and overall facilities at Kennedy made for an extremely positive environment. We ended up staying there for over 3 years – and had no regrets at doing so! Without a doubt the best renting experience we’ve ever had (as property management goes). Having a hospital, major grocery store, myriad of restaurants - as well as fast access to major highways nearby – easily made this a community we proudly called home. The rare mechanical issues that did come up during our stay were always handled quickly, and with the highest professionalism. Having relocated out of state (again) – we’ve found ourselves really missing the home we had in Kennedy Highland Apartments!

Kennedy Highlands is the best apartment complex that I have ever encountered living. They take care of your maintenance needs and questions at the drop of a dime. It is a very small community and everyone pretty much knows the other by name. Every question/concern is taken with the same urgency. Though pricey, the apartments are well worth it. I just wish the pool was open a little longer. Other than that, I have no complaints!
