Kauhale Kamaile is a permanent modular housing project in Waianae, Hawaii, specifically designed for homeless families with children enrolled in Waianae schools. The project consists of 15-units, including one- and two-bedroom homes, and aims to provide stability and hope for these families. To provide permanent, affordable housing for homeless families with children in Waianae. Rent includes: water, sewer and refuse. Parking may be available for extra fee. Families who earn 50% or less of the area median income. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Preference is given to applicants experiencing homelessness, or at risk of homelessness prior to residency at the property. 2. Must be able to pay rent, deposit and other required fees. Applicant income must not exceed 50% of HUD Oahu Area Median Income.
