Property Ratings at Jasmine Creek Apartments
College parties, no parking spaces, no outgoing mail box, trash dumpster (one only is way far away and people are too lazy to open the dumpster to put trash in so its all over) claim heated resort style pool - its freezing and not resort style.....people throw trash all over the ground, you can hear every footstep above you. Management is unfriendly and unprofessional, people don't keep dogs on leash, near pool and pond there is so much dog poop everywhere. I have never stepped in so much dog waste before, nothing like trekking poo all over my floor over and over again after coming home and having to park three apartments down because there is no parking spaces. Outdated, overpriced, immature disrespectful kids living here, not adult/family friendly. If you want inconsiderate people living all around come on it. I can't move out of here quick enough and I just got here.
Jasmine Creek Apartments is situated in a perfect location. It is minutes away from stores and located directly behind The University of West Florida. Trust me when I say that this is what you are paying for here... location. The apartment community itself stays mostly quiet, which is surprising with the number of college students living here. However, the apartments are in no way worth the price of rent. The staff does nothing to really help you and tries to argue everything when a problem arises. Rent increases each year by 50-100 dollars and they continue to increase water and sewer charges. They are completely in it for the money and don't care who they step on to make a buck. Be careful because they will hit you with every cost possible. Stay away if you have other choices...
Jasmine Creek is a decent place to live however, there are a few things that they could work on; most of them superficial. For the price, the place just looks run down compared to there competitors. Even though it's close to UWF, there are a couple of apartments that are cheaper or look at lot better nearby. The maintenence was slow to respond sometimes but overall good considering how many times we called. We did however have to go almost half of our lease with a leaky fridge which they came to "fix" once. Our neighbors had a few horror stories of their own, like a leaky sealing every time their neighbors upstairs would flush (we sorta had the same issue but it was fixed) and issues with their fridge and toilet themselves. I could go on and on about why you shouldn't live there but they are under new management and it is an improvement from before. Hopefully this trend continues upward.
