Right next door to McAllen and about an hour from Brownsville, Pharr is a mainly-suburban border city with a rich local character. Many of the local schools are excellent and the crime rate is considerably lower than many of the neighboring communities, making it a desirable location for families.
Each spring, Pharr Hub Phest draws big crowds with a fun mix of music, carnival rides, and celebrations of South Texas’ unique culture. The cost of living is fairly low, and local rent tends to be quite affordable as well. The University of Texas’ Rio Grande Valley campus is just north of town in Edinburg, making Pharr a convenient place for college students to find apartments.

We really liked this apartment, especially at the price point. Though there are other apartments in the area that are a bit more modern, they're also almost double the price. This ticked all of our boxes.

This was one of my options that was within my budget. Thankfully, Angela and the front desk team helped me find a 2 bed that was at the price I wanted and with a lot more space that some of the other options.

I recently moved out to Pharr for trade school and wanted to live somewhere nearby. Took a tour of the 1bed unit and was signing my lease shortly after. Front staff was extremely helpful with my questions. Would recommend to anyone looking for a modest spot.

My wife and I have been here for a year now and we've had 0 problems. When our fridge went out, the staff was quick to help us get the problem fixed ( none of our food went bad thankfully ). Thank you staff

We've been here now for 4 months and has been a breeze in comparison to some of the neighboring complexes. We had an issue with our dryer and the front desk team was quick about solving it for us. For the price, i don't think there's many other places that compare. Thanks Jackson Place team.

My experience was going well, until a disagreement with the manager, that is when they stopped notifying me about entering my apartment and ignoring my maintenance needed in my apartment. Also, when brought up to the manager, I was completely ignored. I have had way too many problems, from them not wanting to go in because of my pet to them entering and not even bothered that my pet was out. they pick and choose when they want something done. It is not a good thing when the place you rent from makes you feel unwelcomed. Take it from my experience and look somewhere else.

Hi! My experience with Jacksonplace overall was good. However, the neighbors next to the apartments are loud. Make sure to learn to levitate while living in their apartments since they will charge you $700 dollars for a new carpet for new landlords when you move out. It is ridiculous.

They say they enforce towing, they really dont, I called their courtesy officer and front office multiple times of vehicles with no permits being parked on the premises nothing gets done. They have a policy of no pets be left on balconys, people still leave their pets outside all day having them to use the balcony as the dog's restroom. The staff has been notified of incidents, they haven't done anything about it. That is not dog friendly!!! Staff is a joke a bunch of little girls!
