Prepare yourself to have the following in your apartment with you: hundreds of roaches, rats, snakes, and lizards, flooding from neighboring units leaking in, broken appliances, and more! All things i've dealt with in my time living here. And my neighbors all have the same complaints. Maintenance does nothing substantial. They put bandaids on severe issues because they are money hungry, selfish people. They get a ton of negative reviews on Google and then they send in a ton of fake positive ones to trick people. Maintenance staff does nothing. Management will not do anything about your issues, aside from keeping your security depot for being an inconvenience. My family has been genuinely traumatized from living here.

Mold and a lot a lot of roaches. Ac breaks down. They don't fix anything and if you complain you don't get your lease renewal. Good luck

Live in this place like your own home. Quiet place and secure i leave it because i wanted more rooms otherwise i would love to stay until I buy my own house lovely place. You have almost everything in one place.

I have lived here for six months and they claim the gym is 24 hours yet it’s really only open during the office hours. The pool has been broke the entire time the parking is a joke and the management on sight could care less about anything but themselves

Poor costumer service, roaches everywhere, Pool is disgusting, gate never works, parking is a headache, they don’t enforce policies, management doesn’t care.

I have been here 4 months and it’s been complete HELL. Management is a joke, EVERYONE has a major attitude problem, units are falling apart and rotting, maintenance is not help and no one will do anything about the horrible insect/bug infestation. DO NOT LIVE HERE

I honestly don’t know why people are leaving bad reviews, I’ve lived here for 2 years and I’m going to continue to renew my lease! Gate is only open during office hours... CRIME LOCATION=0 what I love most!

Recently moved in to the Island shores and the staff was really helpful and patient with the whole process. My family was able to get set up with a lakeside view and the apartment has some really cool upgrades. We are close to the parks and turnpike. So far so good!!!!!!

This place is AWFUL. The staff is not helpful at all when it comes to maintenance requests which you will be making quite often. First off, no one EVER answers the phone or they just email you asking what the problem is. I had to physically go into the office only to find them all in the back laughing & chatting away. They told me property manager wasn’t there, but yet at the end of our convo, suddenly he comes out of hiding. He then refused to help me find a solution to the recurring problems I have encountered here thus far...literally said “this convo is done” and went back into hiding. This was regarding the A/C which never works and apparently you have to change the filter yourself. I have never heard of that or had to do that in any other building I’ve lived. This place also HOARDS trash right by the entrance & exit!! Dumpster is ALWAYS overfilled, and people leave their trash on the pathway leading up to dumpster, on the grass, sidewalk, and even parking spaces surrounding!! Disgusting and the smell is PUTRID yet management refuses to take care of this. I’ve lived here since April, and there’s been NO change. We are now in December. Also this place is infested with roaches!! I had to request they send an exterminator just a few days after I moved in! Roaches were all over the kitchen sink, bathroom, and bedroom. It was terrible but unfortunately I had already signed the lease! They tried to get me to wait a week for extermination and I said NO I’m not sleeping like this. So they sent someone the next morning. Again I have this problem and they are making me wait a whole WEEK for the exterminator. No one cares because they are not the ones that have to deal with this, they are just pocketing our money and chatting about nonsense in the back instead of actually helping people. Do not move here. No security either; the front gate is always open and there’s tons of drug dealers here and sketchy characters. Everything is cheap too. Blinds always breaking. If you look carefully, most apartment windows have missing blinds and the office refuses to replace it. Yet they have it as an option under maintenance requests on the resident portal. I cannot wait to get out of here.

Make sure you read the reviews very very carefully . Their staff especially the guy up there has such a bad attitude . They will tell you they won’t rent out a place with things broken to you, but I have not even lived here 2 months , so you can’t tell me we broke the toilet seat(only 2 people use it) , and have broke at least 5 blinds. Lol . They are quick to point the fingers . This place is a whole joke .

Far from excellent. Rude people work at the main office they are never helpful and act like they are entitled and own the place +Comon areas are full of dog poop nobody picks it up +noisey neighbors that will park in the middle of the street and play music out loud until 2am +requested repairs take at least a week and half to be looked into +their main gate is a giant joke. It breaks every other day and then stays nonfunctional for weeks +they will shut off the water without any notice when they feel like and when you call to ask then they are coky and rude and tell you they are not obligated to give notice when this obviously "scheduled maintenance work" will occur +over all this place is a big disappointment. We can't wait to thr lease is over so we can leave forever

We love our apartment here and we're happy that we chose this community!

From the start we had issues with maintenance never showing up, or showing up and never fixing the issue. They rarely ever answer the phone, you have to call multiple times and even then you may never get a hold of someone. Since moving we have had issues with getting our full deposit back but have tried all that we can.

Super disrespectful, do not take confrontation well when there’s in issue in the apartment,they will just blame the tenet. Managers are absolutely no help, horrible attitude, super ignorant and arrogant. They don’t care about tenements being content. All they care about is the money.

I suggest you run not walk away from this place! They are dishonest and will do anything to keep your deposit no matter how nice you leave the apartment. It's nearly impossible to get anything repaired. They come into your apartment when you're out with no notice. Management is rude once they have your money. Nothing you can do gets rid of the bugs! If you have any other options I suggest you take them this company is shady and doesn't care about it's residents!

Need to have a protest in front of office with all the people who've they stolen money from!!!! And keep others from moving in that place, save them the trouble. They are crooks!!! We had to sign a letter 60 days before moving out, even when signing a one year lease. I asked them (called and got an ok) to bring in the letter when I went in to pay rent. They give you a 4 day grace period. So because I signed the paper, and brought it in 56 days before, not 60, which I was told was ok. They kept my $900 deposit and put $900 on my credit!! And I didn't here word about until I moved out. AlAND THE APARTMENT WAS FAR CLEANER THEN WHEN I MOVED IN!!!!! The office staff is INCREDIBLY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. This will be taken to court. And there are many others doing the same, and are a victim of these crooks.

They raising prices on people.. There's always a fight there and people shooting guns, I can't raise my children there!

I should have listen to my friend. The people at the leading office need to be fired asap please. They can't even speak English right. They're so rude to people, there are bugs everywhere omg I lost my money! Never never again

The apartment is very spacious,the closests are big the kitchen could be bigger but it's a nice size and you also have storage. The company takes a week or so to come out and fix stuff the gym is not updated half of the equipment in the gym does not work. The people in the leasing office always have an attitude the manager is rude and starts arguments if you need something fixed in your apartment that hasn't been fixed yet. The buildings in front of the community they keep up and they look nice the ones in the back are not so nice. The doors to the storage rooms on the side of the buildings are falling off there is trash everywhere they don't cut the grass and they don't keep up the properties in the back of the community.

Island shores is a great place to live. Friendly staff and quiet neighborhood.

I have been here since 2009 and feel very comfortable. Just got upgrades in kitchen & bathroom. New paint & outside improvements are in the making. Easy access to I-95 & turnpike. Short drive to work and nice shopping areas in the neighborhood....I just love it here....and just renewed my lease for another year.

I have lived here just under 3 years. It is the quietest apartment complex I have ever lived in. The place is full of people, kids and I thought this place would be noisy at night and weekends. Nope not at all very quiet. The maintenance team was not so great but has improved alot. Very spacious apartments, clean up to date. Property is maintained weekly. It has a large nice pond to sit next to and watch and feed the ducks. A very nice place to live, quiet,close to everything. I would recommend it to others.

Island Shores is great for starting out. It's a working/middle class neighborhood so it is very quiet and family oriented, it is also directly across a park. They just did a major overhaul and since then it has been great! Apartments freshly painted, streets newly sealed, and maintenance is more prompt. The only complaint is office leasing staff keeps you waiting a while to answer questions and hardly every picks up the phone.
