Welcome to St. Augustine, America's oldest continuously inhabited European settlement and a coastal Florida treasure. Located along the northeastern coast, this historic city seamlessly combines Spanish colonial architecture with Atlantic beaches and contemporary living. Current rental trends show average apartment rates of $1,538, with a slight decrease of 1.37% over the past year, making coastal living here increasingly accessible.
The Ancient City, as locals know it, offers diverse housing options from downtown apartments to waterfront communities near Anastasia Island. At the city's center stands the Castillo de San Marcos, while the historic district's brick-lined St. George Street houses local shops and restaurants. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy Anastasia State Park and the Atlantic beaches along A1A. Flagler College, housed in the former Hotel Ponce de Leon, brings energy to the downtown area.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Isla Antigua
I have lived here since January 2024. I love it! I don't know where the negative reviews are coming from but they definitely don't reflect the current situation. It is very quiet. Can't hear anyone's TV or talking. I don't even hear apartment doors opening and closing. Pets are quiet. Two big dogs across the hall from me but I never hear them. Maintenance is prompt. They replaced my smoke detector batteries when one was chirping. Had a leak under my kitchen sink which they fixed and thoroughly dried with big fans. A local plumber could not do a better job and I didn't have to pay anything. So disregard any of the outdated reviews. It's so peaceful.
The manager is so unprofessional, not accommodating, and doesn't simply care about the tenants. I have lived in 3 different apartments one because weed was coming down my vent so be aware of that and I had to transfer. Additionally there are people who still smoke on this property even though it is a "smoke free property" also good luck walking around the property as there are lovely tenants who do not know how to clean up after their dogs. I learned this the hard way as I stepped in crap and ruined my $200 on clouds. The pool needs power washing, the clubhouse is not the best always hot in there, the gym is so so go somewhere else and don't waste your time, money etc. Management needs to be changed ASAP!!!
The office never answers the phone and their automated robot that answers is so painful. You go through hoops and then are prompted to leave a message anyway. It's frustrating to have to go to the office every time you have a question. Delete your phone number so callers don't have to go through the pain and everyone can just submit a form on line and wait until you feel like it to respond. ANSWER YOUR PHONES!
Read before you rent here. The location is great but it is absolutely horrible to live here. I feel like I am living in a college frat house. Neighbors are up all night blaring music so loud my walls vibrate. The property is on the intercoastal but you cannot even open the patio door or windows for fresh air because so many people are smoking on their patios despite this being a supposedly smoke free property. Residents leave their garbage sitting in the hallway for days so the hallways smell of rotting garbage attracting bugs and rodents. Residents do not pick up after their pets so the grass is littered with dog poop. It amazes me that there is management on site since they clearly are oblivious to how gross this property is. If you are looking for a clean and peaceful place to live you should look elsewhere.
Do not rent from these people. The manager is rude and has overcharged me, lied to me, and is never available. The property is very noisy and you cannot sit on your balcony because of the bridge noise. They quote one price to you and then change it later and when you question them, they cannot change it and say they will turn it over to collection if you dont pay. They continue to charge me rent after I moved out and cleared my account. Horrible experience!
I normally write positive reviews but I’m a current resident at Isla Antigua, and living here is a complete nightmare. The person above me has a dog and it sounds like a giant rodent living in the roof. Between in the constant scratching of the animal and the pounding from the heavy footed woman above me I am constantly woken up from my sleep. I use a noise canceling sound machine to deaden the noise and that doesn’t work. It’s pretty bad since I’m not a light sleeper. The roof was poorly constructed as it’s constant pounding over my head throughout the entire day. In addition, many things in my house vibrate as she moves around her apartment. I clean often, don’t leave food out, remove trash nightly and have my apartment sprayed for bugs regularly. I have seen roaches on a weekly basis since I moved in 9 months ago. The pest control company stated that they don’t treat the root of the problem so it will continue to happen. I’ve also been told the roaches are just “passing through” The amenities don’t always work and are not always available. They offer “free printing” but most times I went to use it there was never ink or paper. The grills break often. The pool is not always in working order. I have seen dog crap and urine in the hallways on multiple occasions which is completely unhygienic. The trash pick sometimes comes late hours and it is very loud as they roll their garbage bin through the hallways On a more positive note, the pier is nice but if I want to launch a kayak or stand up paddle board I have to walk 0.5 mile one way before I can launch it which isn’t that practical. Now that it’s time for me to renew my lease, the company notified me that they are increasing the rent $120 each month. I don’t think this place is worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend it.
We love our home at the Isla Antigua, we moved here from out of state and could not be more pleased with our home and our puppy Lily loves how pet friendly it is ! Thank you Isla !
I am very satisfied with living here. I live on 4th floor, so after 10 months...Window screens need cleaning. When I moved in last July, pool wasnt ready for awhile, but still had to pay full price.
The apartments are beautiful and nicely located. Close to town and the beach for a great price!
Good location, good neighbors, friendly and conscientious staff
An absolute joke. Not worth the money. Terrible construction means if you’re not on the top floor you will definitely hear your neighbors above, I can even hear them going to the bathroom. Neighbors complain of packages being stolen. I left my ring in the paw spa and someone stole it. If you want to pay a lot of money for new counters etc and have a management team that is just a face for the corporate team, with no ability to actually be personal or helpful... then move here. They also spray chemicals that are causing rashes and scabs on my dog. We are paying a fortune to end our lease, worst living experience ever. I highly discourage moving here.
Residing here at Isla Antigua is like being on a permanent vacation at a 5 star resort. Special appreciation and thanks to Michelle and Siobhan for going above and beyond with helping us find our new home. We would also like to mention, after signing the lease and residing at Isla Antigua for sometime, the professionalism and courtesy extends from the Maintenance Staff as well as the "day-to-day" encounters with Michelle and Siobhan. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed. Kenny, Connie, Ellie and Diesel
We have enjoyed every aspect of our experience at Isla Antigua and are happy to be part of this community.
Good experience!
Beautiful apartment complex with great views over the river. Every attention to detail has been given to figures and color scheme of the apartment. Really beautiful granite counter tops and grey floors. Particularly like the workstation and gym amenities.
Wonderful place to live.
I am enjoying living here a lot so far. Everything has been perfect. I love the location, the amenities, the staff, and the apartment itself. Im very excited about my continued stay here!
Overall experience - Excellent
Best place to live.....
Have been a resident for a while and would not recommend. It seems once you're into your apartment your importance as a tenant drops. Staff is unprofessional, and seem bothered. Emails seldom answered, and the office is not a very warm atmosphere. Maintenance seems over worked and unfriendly. Overall...displeased.
Love everything about living here, so many great and unique amenities it feels like living in a resort with a friendly and helpful staff. The scenery, view from apt, amazing pool area, and convenient location are the best parts!
Beautifully maintained apartment living in great location with excellent amenities. Professional and courteous staff who keep you informed of community events.
I have lived here for about 3 months and the apartments have been under construction which I knew when moving in. But there’s always noise from the building and the amenities they promise still haven’t opened up. Just the other night I tried to use the grills we were promised and was yelled at and chased out because they were not open. They have been waiting for the sign for 2 months now since they have installed and been working. The same ordeal happened with the pool. Don’t trust anything they promise you and feel I am paying far to much for what they actually offer. Would never recommend anyone moving here! The staff also takes a while to get back about any kind of information.
Great amentities but need more accessibility. Super high quality, great sense of community. Cool pin pads to access gates and apartments. Excited for pier to be finished, what a great addition!
I am not happy with the people who run this place. We’ve had light bulbs go out three different times. We’ve requested maintenance over two weeks ago because the garbage disposal stopped working, and there is food all in it, it won’t drain. They have not come in to fix it or even respond to our request. We were called by the lady who works in the front office to be quiet when we were not even home. The pool is never open. The inside is beautiful, but we shouldn’t be blamed for something we didn’t do, we shouldn’t have to wait over two weeks for a maintenance request. Very unhappy.
I'll do it later
Enjoying my new apartment! All staff are very friendly & professional.
Isla Antigua is a wonderful place to rent.
If you have every stayed at a five star hotel and were taken away by the sheer luxury this apartment let's you feel like you are living in one
Excellent staff! Beautiful apartments!
