Indigo Plantation Apartments

I've been to several properties and Indigo Plantation is by far my favorite . Its very secluded and the property its self is Beautiful. As soon as you walk into the leasing office the ladies greet you with a smile and ready to help. I was able to tour a 2 bedroom apartment and absolutely loved it.

It’s a very decent place to live. It has the essentials of what you want in an apartment. The location is close to everywhere you need to go in the city of daytona or ormond, as everything is under 25 mins away. Now the bad, you will probably never park near your apartment building as there is constantly people coming or going. Most of whom don’t live here. If you live under someone, you’d contemplate moving everyday as no one seems to have respect for anyone under them. Or the floors and ceilings are too thin. People always park in handicap spots, in the grass, prolly in your living room if they can since management does not care to enforce any of the rules they have. Drive carefully, people pull out of spots without a care in the world and and speed at least 2x over the posted 15mph limit. There will be dog poop in the grass by your apartment. You will see raccoons, armadillos, and possums if you leave to go get a late night snack. It is hard to get in touch with management. You will sometimes have roaches and fruit flies because the pest man have been here once every 6 months.

I like living here some days, but on other days… there’s too many loud people that doesn’t respect other tenants. I understand there’s going to be loud people everywhere but when it says no loud music, turn your music DOWN. No one wants to listen to your loud bass booming in their home. Especially if they work nights and get cranky easily. Other than that, no complaints. :)

This apartment complex is your WORST nightmare! They’re everything you hope to avoid. They’re INFESTED with roaches, pest control sprays with water, and the LEASING MANAGER will ignore you, as well as the two birds in the front office. There’s trees everywhere dripping with tree sap so that means buy a car cover or have to pay for a new paint job later. NONE of the dryers and washers ever work in the tiny laundry room they have. Maintenance will hit on you, your apartment will smell like weed and cigarettes when you move in and it never goes away. I’d give it 0 stars if I could.

Maintenance and office staff are great!! I have no complaints. Office staff has always been friendly and helpful and the maintenance staff is also friendly and keeps the properties looking great! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place!

I have lived in this community for the past 6 years. I never really have to complain about anything. Kristen has always helped out when I call. If I have an issue they are on top of it and get it done. I have always been satisfied with the work and how they communicate with me. I love it here!

The staff at Indigo Plantation is amazing, super friendly and helpful. The maintenance team is top notch. The property itself is a wonderful place to call home. We are so happy we moved here!

We just moved into one the freshly remodeled units and it is gorgeous! Brand new appliances and flooring. Also the community is quiet and everyone is very friendly. Highly recommend Indigo Plantation.

I’ve been here for about 9 months. It’s actually the best complex I’ve ever lived in. I haven’t had any issues since I’ve moved in. It’s super quiet. I get so much privacy that I don’t even know what my neighbors look like! It’s in a great location. We’re close to the mall and the good restaurants. Also,Management is so nice and super helpful.

I have lived here four years now, after the first year there was no doubt that I would stay here till my time to leave the city came. The staff in the front office are friendly, helpful and very accommodating. I rarely have any issues with my unit and when I do, they are resolved promptly. I work odd hours with heavy equipment so sound sleep is important. My neighbors are quiet, the property is well maintained and the rent is very competitive. I enjoy my stay here and do not plan to leave until my work in the city is fulfilled. I recommend touring the property to see for yourself.

Been here 2 years. Management has been nice to me. It's a pretty quiet place for the most part. They just got new washers and dryers in the laundry room that work good and also take credit cards, but the card readers take FOREVER to process your payment and sometimes don't work properly. Other than that, it's been a pretty great place to live.

I am currently a resident and have been living in this clean and quiet complex for almost 2 years now. Never had a problem here and if there is anything I ever need help with I never hesitate to call the front office. The staff is extremely helpful with resolving issues and finding out the right answers to my questions. I constantly see mantience on patrol keeping the property very clean and safe which makes me feel comfortable as well. I really enjoy how quiet it is here. I like privacy and there's not any heavy traffic ever, very laid back environment. Great place to raise a family if needed. My 1 bedroom unit is very spacious and inviting. I am happy with the layout and upgrades. They have a nice clean pool with a place to grill out, and a fitness center with free weights, treadmills, flat screen tv, etc. Laundry room just received brand new washers and dryers about a month ago which work amazingly. All in all I love living here and will continue to renew my lease as long as this property is ran by such professional and friendly staff! Thank you

Indigo Plantation is a lovely property. There are many trees. The property feels secluded, but is close to everything. Everyone here is great and always super helpful.

A great place to call "HOME". The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise . I am living here for 7 years and counting, and could not feel safer anywhere else.... I will always recommend it to others.

This is my third year in this complex and I have nothing but good things to say about the complex and staff. I was renting a one bedroom but needed something bigger. The transition from a one bedroom to a two bedroom was very easy with no hassles. The staff always greet you with a smile and go out their way to help you with any issues. I would recommend Indigo Plantation to anyone that is looking for a quite and nice area to live.

I've been living in the complex since 2011 and I haven't had any issues here. The environment is very peaceful and quiet. I would recommend anyone to live here If they are looking to enjoy life with a peaceful state of mind.

I have been living at this community for 3 years. It is very peaceful and quiet here. I feel safe living here. Anytime I've needed anything the staff has been very fast to respond. They are all very pleasant and kind from the office staff to the maintenance personnel. They are all very helpful. I definitely recommend this community to anyone looking for a place to call home.

Ever since I have moved here, it have been a nice experience. Rarely no problems at all. The managers works well with me and my roommate.

I have lived on property for 10 years. I love the office staff, they are always very friendly and helpful with anything I have needed. The maintenance crew is awesome as the property is always clean and they go above and beyond making sure the residents are taken care of and fixing anything that comes their way. I appreciate that there is not a lot of turn over in property staff, it really gives a family feel to where I live!

I love living here!! I have lived here a little over a year and I plan on staying! The office staff are always very helpful and kind. If I have ever needed anything the manager has made sure it’s taken care of in a very timely manner and she has always been super nice! I have recommended this place to many of my friends and coworkers and I will continue to.

For the past two years I’ve called indigo plantation home. My experience here has been nothing short of outstanding. I have lived here almost a year now, what a wonderful group of people in this neighborhood. The people here are very friendly, I have met most of my neighbors and enjoy talking to them in passing. The facilities here are in great working order. I love having my family over for fun pool days. The staff here is super helpful and friendly. Very animal friendly and have a small dog park for my girl to run around in. I love walking her around he lake at night also.

I have lived here for about 5 years or so I have never asked for anything that I had to wait on. 1 time 1 of the guys followed me home from the office & did what I asked right away. Everyone is very kind and caring. I feel like they are my friends instead of my landlords Great place to live. I feel very safe here

My husband and my husband and I moved it Indigo Plantation’s approximate four years ago we were greeted with professionalism courtesy and a dedicated concern for our new living environment. The area that the apartment is located is beautifully shaded by lovely trees and there are trees all throughout the complex. Space our part we compare to other apartments is larger and better value than most other apartments complexes. Our overall experience has been pleasant and enjoyable. The grounds are well-maintained if there is a maintenance issue they’re there within 24 hours to take care of the issue and repair whatever needs to be repaired. I enjoy the pool and I’ve only use if it is for once but it saves adequately adequately supplied. I would have I would highly recommend anyone considering moving here for the value of the apartment size and the rent in comparison with other other places this is a better value.

I have lived here for almost 4 years. The property is very wooded and feels secluded even though it is close to everything. As with any older property, I have had some issues, but maintenance is the best. They respond and repair everything the same day. I've never had to wait more than 1 day. The only negative is the pine trees that drop sap all over the cars. I will continue to stay here while I live in Daytona Beach.

We toured Indigo Plantation recently in our search for a new apartment. What a beautiful property- plenty of trees, great parking, floor plans are nicely laid out and spacious. The staff was so friendly- we are seriously considering making his our new home!

I've lived here almost 2 months now. I'm from Oklahoma. I haven't rented in a long time but from what I've seen and rented from back home this place is Beautiful. My dogs are use to a yard so its been rough for them and us but this place has been super dog freindly and perfect. Also my air went out but they gave me notice of when they were coming and also called me when done so the dogs and me could head home. Been to the pool several times and its awesome. The grills needd some tending to but love the pool. Laundry area is nice. But as i said I've only been here 2 months but my boyfriend said he he didn't have dogs he would stay here. Outlets are loose but overall i love it here.

Like any other apartment built in 1989, it does need a little bit of TLC but you can totally tell the maintenance crew stays busy and they do a really good job. the property is located in a wooded setting in florida, so the bugs are kinda regular but nothing too terrible. The staff is the main reason I'm even writing this review, they're super nice and worked with me every time i needed something. If i could leave a little bit of criticism though there is one staff member that almost never smiles and kinda has an attitude problem for no reason. She sits in the very front of the office, so she's one of the first faces you'll see, kinda weird that shes got a bit of an attitude! There were occasions when I've called the front office a few times while i was living there and she doesn't even say "goodbye" she'll just hang up.. pretty rude and unprofessional but only a minor issue i suppose... her expression is often blank and you can tell she doesn't want to be there. just something i noticed in the almost 2 years i spent there. The outside walls are paper thin so just be aware of that. you can hear entire conversations; even if they're using a regular talking voice. All in all though, i would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a new place in Daytona. Again, the staff for the most part were VERY friendly, Especially the manager, i really enjoyed my stay! Thanks Indigo Plantation for working with me every step of the way!

The staff in the front office were very rude to me as a prospective tenant, couldn't even get them to give me an honest answer when I asked about how the tenants are. Took a drive around in the afternoon to see what its really like and there's trash everywhere, people being loud, and generally just trashy people. People here just don't care. Highly recommend going somewhere else, the price they quoted me was absurd. Do your research, you can find much better for hundreds of dollars less. I can't imagine living here and driving over those speed bumps every day, seeing the trash all over the place, and dealing with downright disrespectful people AND office staff

You can tell those reviews with 4 stars had to be from the management company personnel. Not someone who has lived here. I visited some friends that lived here and we were talking about me moving in to an apartment here. After talking with them we came to the conclusion that this place is tired. I don't know about the "upgrades" that are supposedly taking place, but their idea of "Upgrade" is a different color formica counter top from white to a granite looking formica. Same with the vinyl floors. Instead of the usual white vinyl with squares, they put down vinyl that looked like wood floors and they call that an "upgrade" Its just the same materials just in a different color/pattern which in reality, doesn't cost them more money, just you. Cabinets are poorly painted with visible brush strokes. The upstairs floors are made of plywood and the ceiling fan shakes when people walk upstairs. The grounds around the building are just dirt. Its like they forgot to put down grass or even mulch in places. Seems the pool gets cleaned earlier in the week because its quite dirty on weekends.Pool bathrooms look like they were cleaned last in 1996, just filthy. I wouldn't call it a walk in closet, more like a slide in closet with your back dragging on the wall to clear the hanging clothes (seriously, you might have 2 feet of room between clothes and the opposite wall) My friends who live there and I walked around the grounds and the apartment and were talking about what it is your getting for your money. The trash thing written is true, speed bumps are true, the hike to the trash compactor is true, In my opinion, its not worth the money they are asking for these apartments. Especially the "Upgrades" So I moved in elsewhere where there were real upgrades worth the extra money per month.

I am pleased with the apartment and the rent I pay here. The apartment was clean and everything working well when I moved in. It is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. I can find no fault with it at all and I am happy living here.

I've lived at indigo plantation for almost 4 years now. It is a nice and quiet area. I love that it is inside a neighborhood and makes me feel safer. They have upgraded most of the apartments and the floor plans are spacious. It has a lot of extras like a pool, gym, tennis court and laundry facility! The workers are very nice and helpful to its residents needs. Great place to live.

Lived here or 6 yrs. Been through several management companies. Each time management changes, the rules change. Was permitted to have a window ac because one room is much hotter then the other, then new management demanded I remove it. There attempt at a solution was to replace the central air unit. Barged into my apartment one morning to cut a hole in my bedroom closet wall. I worked nights at the time and just got home. After arguing, with maintenance and manager, they let me use another apt for 1 day. Electrical outlets are loose and don't work. Loud car stereos blasting as they drive through. My car side window was smashed in last yr and no one reported or saw anything. The fitness center is regularly vandalized and equipment damaged and barbells stolen. They began locking it and issuing keys for a $35 deposit. This changed nothing because you will usually find the door propped open. The fitness center closes at 10 pm (Yes. Seriously). Management posted a sign stating anyone in fitness center after 10p would be escorted out by the police. Fitness center is in the pool gated area and I was once locked. They locked it early and took off. I had to climb over the fence to get out. The pool is nice but I suspect people who do not live here use it and there is nothing to stop them. You will have several speed bumps to get in or out. You have to drive your trash to the compactor or carry it 1/2 a mile if your in the back. There is only one entrance/ exit. If you live in the back area of the complex, it can be as many as 5 speed bumps. If your trash spills off your car, they will go through it to identify you and charge you $25. The roads are very narrow and most of the curbs are broken from being driven over. This complex is near the Speedway so they rent weeks and weekends to out of town race fans who will bring gigantic trailers and take up several parking spaces. They don't do anything about that or the cars that don't belong there. They tried to solve the problem once by putting large orange stickers on the window of any cars they didn't recognize. Even though I lived there for years, they stuck one on mine and it took me a couple of hours to remove it. I complained. They didn't care. Some people leave motorcycles in the same parking spot all year long so don't expect to get a spot close to your apartment to unload your groceries. If you are wealthy, and don't care about rude, inconsistent management, live here.
