Property Ratings at Indigo Park
I moved in here three months ago and within a few weeks discovered that my AC was broken. My apartment has been averaging 86 degrees! I have put in several work orders (which end up being canceled without explanation). I have tried to contact the leasing office (they do not answer the phone or respond to emails). I feel completely helpless at this point. You also cannot talk to anyone in person as the leasing office is locked and they do not let you in without an appointment (there’s no way to make an appointment since no one responds). The few times I have talked to someone they have been rude and short with me. I have lived in multiple apartments before this one and never have had any issues. This is by far the most unprofessional complex I have had to deal with. If you have an option to lease somewhere else please do, unless you are okay with maintenance never fixing anything and a leasing office that does not care about its residents.
This place is a disaster. Things look awesome on the tour and then go downhill from there. Our application was lost. You can’t get anyone on the phone, our apartment as well as several of our neighbors were with our air conditioning for over THREE MONTHS IN SOUTH LOUISIANA with absolutely no concerns from management or their corporate office.
In all honesty besides what I’m about to address , the apartment hasn’t been the worst. We moved in at the beginning of March with a broken a/c unit. After around 3 weeks of having a work order, it was closed out with no explanation of what was done. After calling, we were informed that they close out work orders when ever parts are ordered, and that they were waiting on a part. After a few more weeks, we called again just to be told that parts where never ordered and that they would need to order parts. After asking if more free-on could be put in, they informed us that they would not continue to replace the free-on because it was a waste of money for them. We we’re told for the next two months that they were waiting on parts. After parts came in, we were told multiple days in a row that our apartment was a priority, yet no one came. maintenance finally came over the course of three days. Each day, we were told they would be right back and that it would be fixed by the end of the day which be very happened. They would leave for the day and we would have to call the next day to get them to come back or get an update.Finally they told us that they are getting an HVAC company to come out and fix it because there’s nothing they can do. However, it has been two weeks since we were told this. We have asked office staff about the issue and they had no idea what we were talking about that they would have to ask. We were given a single window unit to cool a three bedroom apartment with 4 people living in it. Our electricity bill has been almost $100 more expensive per month due to this. Emails about getting a concession to make up for this have gone unanswered. At this point we are ready to just leave. We have constantly been under a heat advisory with no a/c
If I could give them no stars I would. After waiting almost 3 months, they finally reached out to me when I inquired about my deposit and said they were keeping my entire deposit for cleaning which they had to do anyway. The manager (she's horrible and not friendly at all) came to my apartment before I left and accused me of throwing away furniture in my mini SUV because I was the only one scheduled to move that week. Trash doesn't come when they're supposed to. The front office NEVER answers the phone. Maintenance won't show up for days. Just a quick tip if you decide to move here, they have 7 days to fix any issue or you can get out of your lease. STAY AWAY!
Management never returns calls or even answers a phone call so you could never get any help. they told us two weeks before we were moving in (from Kansas) that they allowed the previous tenants to stay longer so they put us in a smaller apartment and didn't offer a discount or anything. when we moved in the carpet as nasty the apartment smelt like smoke all the vents were black and the place was gross. we left that place in better condition then what we got it an never heard back on our deposit even though we spent months calling but got no response and when they did answer they said they would discuss with the team and would call back and never called back. awful place do not work there. they lied multiple times just to make it sound great. never ever stay here. unless they change the management and fire Maddie.
So, I've been renting here for 3 years, and this will be my last year. Management changes every year. The first management was great. Maintenance requests were resolved in a timely manner, hallways were kept clean, and everything ran pretty smoothly. The current management, JRK, is the WORST. Maintenance request take at least a week to be resolved. The trash compactor is always broken, which leads to people leaving trash everywhere. They do not clean the hallways; therefore, the property is always grody. Do NOT be deceived. You will pay too much money to live here to receive such lackluster service and quality. Please listen to the people telling you not to rent here. It's been going downhill FAST.
At the beginning everything looks good but dont let your eyes make you see the truth. I was having so many issues with window leaking when every time was raining. On top of that, from the balcony, the water was coming through the living room. IT WAS AWFUL. Carpet wet and bad smelling for weeks!! They never did anything. They took weeks to get the carpet dried up and it was never fixed. Plus , They charge you clean carpet fees and others after the lease ends. They only saying management is working. Such a big lie.. So, guys the place look very nice, but in my opinion the appearances are deceptive. I Would give -5 stars for this complex, if it is necessary.
DO NOT MOVE TO THIS COMPLEX! From start to finish, the management has been terrible with communication. I have been working with the leasing agent Mady and she is terrible at communication. Before I moved into my apartment, we were suppose to have a virtual tour meeting. Well, apparently there was a storm in Louisiana that I was unaware of (due to being from Ohio) and I waited to hear from her. Instead of sending an email to let me know that the meeting had been cancelled, I emailed her twice before I even got a reply on speaking to each other regarding the apartment. I finally got in touch with her and we spoke of the apartment I would be leasing. I asked multiple times for the lease and never received it until a month later. Before receiving the lease to my ASSIGNED apartment, I received a call 2 weeks before from another leasing agent at the same complex stating my unit was unavailable. Infuriated, I did not understand how this could have happened in a two weeks time frame. During this time frame of frantically looking for another place to stay, I was extremely frustrated and did not even speak with the manager AT ALL. I had asked for times and her availability and didn't receive that either. Although, another apartment was found for me; i drove 14 hrs from Ohio for the APARTMENT TO BE ABSOLUTELY FILTHY!. Dirty diapers and towels on the balcony, red streaks on the blinds and some blinds were missing, carpet stains, socks in washer, dirty valet trashcan, dirty sinks, and a terrible smell with knits in the kitchen! In the midst of this, I decided not to move in and tried to talk with the manager and Mady and had an "appointment only" policy. This was an emergency. I even asked her had she inspected the apartment and her answer was " It was clean when I went in there" How do you rent out a place that wasn't even cleaned or on maintenance radar to be cleaned? This has got to be the most horrific apartment complex encounter I have ever dealt with. I still haven't spoken to the manager. DO NOT MOVE HERE!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
So far my experience at Indigo Park has been ok. The only problem I have is that they tell you your trash will be picked up every night however I have figured out that valet comes when they want. The dumpster area is very very nasty. Communication has been another issue.
Highly recommend this place to call home. The property is clean and well maintained. The staff and manager are always so nice and helpful. They go above and beyond.

Indigo Park is a great place to live with friendly staff and neighbors. My dog and I love living here and thoroughly enjoy the dog park. Its in a great location and well maintained. The gym is by far the best out of any apartment complex Ive visited and the pool is top notch. Great place for college students, young professionals and small families.

Indigo Park is all I could have ever asked for in an apartment complex! The scenery is beautiful. My cat likes to birdwatch while I enjoy my morning coffee on the balcony. You cant go wrong with the indigo layout, if it wasnt for me having a baby, I wouldve stayed in this particular layout forever! The staff is fantastic and do their best to accommodate your needs. Ive been head for almost 2 years and have no plan on leaving anytime soon!
I have been a resident with my wife for more than a year and I can honestly say I have never been nor seen such an amazing team working together with such perfection! They know personally who we are and have that relationship with their residents. We are about to have our first child and we are more than happy and proud to say we LOVE living here. Indigo Park is our HOME.
I am very happy with Indigo Park. The apartment and grounds are very well maintained. The staff works very hard to make sure residents are happy here. I highly recommend this property!

My experience at building 4 has not been a pleasant one. When I moved in 16 months ago I did not pay attention to the canal that was overgrown next to this building. I'm afraid to sit on my patio because it's located next to large ditch area that is overgrown with weeds, bushes, snakes, and dealing with ants getting in my master bathroom area. Maintenance staff can only do so much , so they need more professionals to come in to resolve these issues. Overall the complex has a wonderful staff and the neighbors are nice and respectful.

We love our apartment and complex at Indigo Park.
The community and staff at Indigo makes me feel like I am back at home with my family. They are all so nice and respectful every time you see someone. They go above and beyond to help with any issue a resident is having. Indigo Park's is outstanding and I could not have picked a better place to live!
You can not afford this place! We lived here for 10 years and the lease have increase each year and then adding few other details that is way over the head. Be sure that you double check the lease contract details before you move-in.

Amazing apartment in a great location! They are complete with an attentive leasing staff, super clean grounds and a great maintenance team. Please be sure to request David or Ross, their response time is excellent.
I believe this is the best apartment complex in the city. The property is state of the art and very well maintained. They have 24h maintenance available and they respond very quickly to all of our needs. The management team is great, friendly and extremely approachable. I've live here for 3 years and my family and I enjoy it here!

Quiet apartment complex with appealing amenities. However, the on site staff are neither effective nor efficient at their job so be prepared for the complex gym to be over flowing with garbage and lack of equipment cleaning wipes for 6 days despite reminding on site staff and bringing these areas to their attention.

We are very pleased with IndigoParks Apartment. Its a good distance away from the hustle and bustle. Its close enough to LSU for any type of student living. Its a family apartment life style and everyone its kind And eager to meet new people. Its a great place for our for babies to play, walk and enjoy the outdoor life. The apartments are beautifully maintained inside and out with beautiful ponds and turtles to watch them relax around. Its very close to LAuberge casino for a fun night Out. As you can see we really enjoy living at Indigo Parks apartment With great staff and maintenance.

Indigo Park reminds me of its own little town. I love the landscaping of the community along with the parallel parking. I spend my mornings on the balcony with coffee in hand listening to the nature. Its a peaceful and spacious place to live. I also love how close it is to the heart of the city but far enough to not have the city traffic and noise! The amenities are pretty great. Lets not forget the spacious apartment with a huge bathtub- my fave.
Ive lived in this community going on 3 years now. Its extremely luxurious and quiet. I believe its the #1 apartment complex in the city.

We have been apart of the Indigo family since June 2019 and that is how we feel belonging to a family. The staff has made a point to get to know us and our dogs. They have gone way above to keep the grounds clean and looking good. So glad to be apart of The Indigo Park Apartments
Ive had too many issues within my apartment that wasnt appropriately communicated.

The apartments are appropriately priced for the amenities they offer. Its hard to find a place in the middle of the capitol city that is nice for a decent price but indigo park is one of the few. The units feel very luxurious without a designer price tag. The only down side is the sewer plant down the street but it really hasnt deteriorated the quality of my daily life; its something you can get over.
I have loved my experience at Indigo Park. As a 10 year resident, I have ALWAYS felt that I was a valued resident.

Indigo park is a great place to live. Everyone is so courteous and really listens to you. I feel valued and part of the family. Any issues are handled timely and without argument. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to live!
