IMT Pleasant Hill

We lived here for 6 years—always paid rent on time, kept to ourselves, and treated the property with care. But ever since the new management took over, things have gone downhill quickly. Crime in the area has increased, and management has done nothing to protect residents. On 09/24, our car tires were stolen on the property, along with two other cars. We later learned this had happened three times before, but management never notified anyone. No warning, no updates—just silence. We only spoke up when it truly mattered, but now it feels like we’re being retaliated against. Multiple maintenance staff told us we wouldn’t be charged for carpet replacement because we had lived here for over 5 years—but we were still charged after moving out. It felt unfair and personal. We’re heartbroken to leave a home we once loved, but we no longer feel safe or respected. Please think twice before moving in.

I had a really nice experience with the girls at the office. My paperwork was very fast and understandable. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to start my new stage in the studio apartment. The place is very clean and nice. My first few days living here I can say that it is a very quiet place, full of peace, without annoying noises. It is also in a privileged location less than a minute from the 680 highway and just 2 minutes from the Pleasant Hill Bart station. A quiet and safe neighborhood. In addition, there is always available parking space. Thank you for everything.

This is a great place to live! Management is easy to work with and very responsive to any needs. It’s also a great location because it’s centrally located to access freeway and bart. Easy for my commute

Tldr; safe, peaceful and the leasing and maintenance team really care about the residents. Ideal location. It has been such a good experience living here. No pest issues. No plumbing or electrical issues. Kind considerate respectful neighbors. I haven't experienced any crime. I think someone in the complex did get a bike stolen off their balcony once but that's it, that's the only crime I heard about in over a year and a half. The location is ideal. So close to so much, the walking trail, BART, cute shops and offices. Right next to the freeway and major streets. It's super easy to get places. So many stores within a 10 minute or less drive and yet even being so close to the freeway it still feels so safe, secluded and peaceful. But the best part is the maintenance and leasing staff. They are exceptional! I feel so blessed to live here. When I moved in they were so great about explaining everything and answering all my questions and making the process as easy as possible. And I thought maybe once I moved in they wouldn't be as nice anymore. I was so wrong. Any maintenance issues are resolved as promptly as humanly possible and the team is kind, respectful and responsive. They always communicate any maintenance happening at the property well in advance tree trimming, asphalt repairs etc and any major things like having to turn off water to fix things has been handled super quickly and they tried to keep it during hours when I was at work so it didn't affect my life too much and I got emails so I would know what to expect. It made me feel so safe. It's so hard to find apartments where the leasing office and maintenance team go above and beyond to take care of the residents and are professional and kind and it feels so good.

It was very peaceful inside and outside. Managers (especially Mele!) were very nice and kind. It took only 30 mins to UCB, so not a bad choice for UCB students.

Well maintained complex, staff is always available. Neighbors keep to themselves, overall a great place to live!

Clean, quiet,cozy, and updated. Good and quick maintenance. Animal friendly. Gym and pool and great guests tenant events.

I loved living here! It’s perfect for a single person or even a couple. The area is quiet and feels secluded yet you’re so close to walking trails, Bart, and shopping centers.

Pretty looking units at a decent size, but I felt I didn't get what I was paying for given the location, quality, and amenities. I also lost a decent chunk of my deposit. I am very clean and gentle with my stuff and generally got my deposit back in full so I was disappointed by that. I'd recommend being very through with your documentation if you select to live here. They're pet friendly, which is super nice, but they'll charge you an arm and a leg for it as many places do

I'm a new resident here at IMT. I just want to point out that everyone that works here works really hard and I truly believe that. I was looking for my size 10 apartment and I found it in IMT Pleasant Hill. Very close to Walnut Creek with out having to pay the Walnut Creek prices. I would recommend living here if you want to live in Contra Costa County. Cheers!!

We have had a great experience so far at IMT Pleasant Hill, and have been here for almost a year now, renewing for a second! The location is great, quiet and close to BART and shopping, and the apartment itself has been just what we needed. The management staff and maintenance team have all been kind and helpful, and all of our maintenance requests have been taken care of really quickly and really well, which has been SO awesome! Thank you Lanie, Mele, Jose, Kenny and Stacie!

The People: You can really tell that the maintenance staff and management care about the community and the facilities. The neighbors are friendly and help one another. All in all, this is a wonderful place to live. Laundry: Some units have washers and dryers. For those that don't, the laundry is open 24/7!!! I have never had trouble finding a free washer or dryer!! Pets & Trail: The complex and the residence are generally pet friendly, with some restrictions. The complex is near the Iron Horse Trail (just around the corner). The trail is great for kids / dogs/ biking / etc.

This place is great! We (a family of 3) have been living here for almost 7 months and the leasing staff are awesome and super helpful. The amenities are excellent! There is a nice pool in the middle of the community. All of the apartments new to the market are newly/recently remodeled. The community is walking distance to Pleasant Hill BART station (less than 10 minutes), and next to Iron Horse Trial. In couple minutes you can drive to Sprouts, Trader Joe's, Costco, and Pleasant Hill downtown as well as Walnut Creek downtown. Also walking distance to Best Buy and Buybuy Baby. You also can find a variety of restaurants nearby, American, Asian, Thai, Mexican, Caribbean. The leasing staff really cares about their tenants and go above and beyond to make your stay delightful. When we moved in we had moving containers being delivered and they reserved parking spots for us to ensure we were close to our unit for an an easy move. They accept deliveries so you don't miss one if you have a package that requires a signature. Most maintenance requests are solved within the first day if not 48 hrs max. They allow you to pay rent online with auto payments or by check in person.

Iron Horse Park is a really nice place to live. They maintain the property beautifully.
