Love living here ! Very warm family type of community. The staff / management really care about the residents living here.
The lobby elevator has had maintenance issues since I moved here, a few months ago. It has been out of order this time for about a month now, making it difficult to receive deliveries and visitors. This problem is NOT the responsibility the staff here at Icon Riverwalk Plainsboro; they are each friendly, helpful, and attentive to detail. The elevator is the responsibility of Greystone owners. Thus I will continue to hold off recommending this community until I feel confident that issues such as this will be resolved promptly.
I’m very pleased with the community, the set up, the amenities, and the upkeep. I’m still sadly disappointed that the front elevator and second floor public men’s room has still not been fixed.
We have lived here for over a year. After over 50 years of home ownership, it is a pleasure to not worry about anything. It’s a great place to live. The community is wonderful and active.
Before we made the decision to downsize from our 2500 s/f home, we toured many apartment complexes from Cherry Hill to the Princeton/Pennington/Plainsboro area and beyond. The moment we walked into the lobby at ICON Riverwalk, we knew this was the place we wanted to live -- it was instantaneous. The things that grabbed me first of all was the decorating, the space given to the Amenities, the library room, the various comfortable seating areas, and not least were the extra wide hallways throughout the building. I have told our friends and family that living at ICON Riverwalk is "like living in a luxury hotel." We have had all of our family over and many of our friends, and they all have commented about how luxurious Riverwalk feels -- and it does! Jane Hale

ICON is a very beautiful apartment complex. Location is perfect for many reasons. Hospital, stores and people supporting them. People are very polite, kind and caring.

A great diverse community to in live. The Lifestyle Coordinator (Brooke) does a create job in keeping us entertained. Maintenance/staff do a good job. I feel very comfortable living here.

It was time for a move to a 55 community. After searching a number of locations, ICON RIVERWALK was the community I returned to. Accessibility, Appearance, staff, location, suite, and amenities made a very appealing offer. Still settling in and adjusting to apartment living, I like the availability of so many activities and opportunities. The underground parking is also a plus.

ICON Riverwalk has basically an even number of pros and cons. While impressive upon first entering the building, there are hidden issues and some seem unfixable. Be sure to open the rubbish rooms when on a tour and look above at ceilings for any mold issues. Although I do feel safe here, it is not a secure building. Many outside doors do not lock. The garage is great and it may sound silly, but trust me, it’s a fine feature. Grounds are well kept but not internal gardens. There has been a cutback there and “The Garden Club” consisting of volunteer residents hasn’t taken off yet. Lastly, it would be appreciated if each floor was vacuumed on a regular basis. There is no scheduled vacuuming and cleaning except for lobby and second level near the marketplace and common areas.

I am very happy living at icon. Stacy and Brook have added so much to the community. They are eager to help and open to ideas. They are an improvement to the staff.
On simple requests, like changing an air filter or changing door batteries, the maintenance crew is great. On anything related to the building, then the maintenance is practically non-existent with no status or information provided.

Icon Riverwalk seems to be a nice, quiet and well maintained community for senior living. Staff is friendly and professional. Amenities are impressive.

It is a quiet peaceful community. I enjoy my walks in the community and the park next door. The proximity of the hospital is also a plus point. Residents are respectful of boundaries.
I love the building and layout. It’s big enough to feel a sense of ease wherever I go and yet small enough to experience the beautiful common neighbors. The town is adding a lot of “entertainment” additions which make it a nice place to be.
A wonderful place to retire and enjoy your golden years.
Thus far i have been very satisfied with the accommodations at ICON Riverwalk. If there was any concern it would be the lack of security or lack of . The access to enter the building unchallenged could potentially be a problem. Otherwise the staff and the overall living environment is good.
I enjoy living here. The socialization is very good. The people are great. I would prefer to handle my own trash and not pay for it. The front doorwas unlocked at 8 AM. The security is lacking cameras and the front desk is not always manned. Anybody can enter.
We were looking for a 55 Community and found ICON. What a find, beautiful facility, great amenities wonderful staff. Very pleased to be here.
We moved to the area to be closer to family and are delighted we found Riverwalk. We didn’t want to own a house anymore and didn’t want a CCRC. Riverwalk is a perfect fit with great people and the feel of resort style living. A must see when doing you research for 55 living options!
We fit the demographics of 55 and we’re looking for a community that matched our needs. Icon is relatively new and is working hard to have a robust activity schedule. The staff has been wonderful as have the residents. Overall I highly recommend Icon as a wonderful place to live.

Excellent design and facilities. Great location, great people and service. Recommended.
We have always had the same person fix issues that we've had in our apartment and he has always been great. There are other issues with the building that don't seem to be addressed and that is a concern. For example, a garage door is often breaking. There is a door that leads into the garage that has been broken since the day I moved in a year ago. And on average, there are more days when the coffee machine is void of coffee then there are days that there is coffee present. The machine only gets filled three days a week and it is gone by the following day. And when Terri is not here, no one else fills the machine. On top of that, there is no longer coffee on the second floor and so the net amount of coffee has be cut in half, and there are more residents in the building.
I find Icon Riverwalk a very nice and convenient place to live
When I initially moved in a few days after my lease began, my apt was not ready and was still requiring appliances put in place, painting, etc. The manager promptly took care of the issue that day by graciously providing me with the guest suite free of charge for 5 days while I was transferred to the same flooplan one floor above on the top floor for the same price as the 4th floor suite. Mistakes happen, but I am so appreciative of how the managers went above and beyond in correcting the problem. That is A customer service!! Thank you!??

Overall Icon Riverwalk is a nice place to live, I work in the technology sector and I work from home. It's quiet most of the time and also when the weather is nice, I'm able to sit outside and work on the decks.
The residents are great and the building is pretty. Dylan is wonderful.

I had an appointment to see the complex. I was not acknowledged in the waiting area. I approched a woman on the phone is one of the leasing offices. She ignored me. Talked to a gentleman in another office. He stated, "Wait for the woman." I waited for 15 minutes. Was told briefly by the woman on the phone she would be with me. I left. Not a friendly vibe nor professional. Saw a huge German Shepard type dog. As a dog lover and owner-a dog of this size has no place is an apartment. Very disappointed. Especially for the price of the units. A standard of professionalism is not met.

This has been the best apartment to live in. Its a wonderful place for people 55 and older. Social events, safe, great maintenance inside and out. I recommend to anyone wishing a quiet fun place to live.
