The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Hunters Ridge Apartments & Townhomes
First off, I would like to say that I have never lived here, I was a prospective resident. The model apartment was beautiful, but I was super skeptical of them because I would call them during the day, at 2:00, or 3:00, or 4:00.. and they wouldn't answer. Check out other reviews on that, every review says the staff is never in the leasing office. There were multiple times that I called them to get more information about their apartments and they just straight up didn't answer, when they were SUPPOSED to be open. Although it upset me, I always just shrugged it off. Finally, 3 days ago I submitted an application for the apartment. I was supposed to get a response within 24-48 hours. After calling today, they told me "oh yeah, you got denied". 1) Thanks for not telling me? When were y'all gonna tell me this information? and 2) Will I get a refund for the $60 my roommate and I spent on the application? Nope. All because I'm a student and "can't afford" their apartment. Sorry I don't make $3,000 a month, I'm a full-time college student working 25 hours a week and can't feasibly do that with my degree (the lady on the phone also decided to inform me that many students are capable to do that and live there, so thanks for that). I have never struggled with paying my rent, and even if I did, I don't see why they won't allow a guarantor or a cosigner. But whatever. Anyways, if you're looking for a friendly leasing office - this probably ain't it.
If you are looking for an amazing and spacious apartment in east lansing look no further! This place has a great feeling of community and you do not have to worry about any college parties. Great place for grad students or young professionals like myself. The apartments are well maintained, the staff is friendly and always there is you need anything. Would definitely recommend checking it out!
Though I've yet to live in the apartments so far, I can say that I've chosen to move here because of all (and I mean 13!) places I looked at Hunters Ridge was impressive. I liked how the woman to help me tour and lease my apartment was fast, efficient, and clearly was happy with her job. Seriously, this processes has been stress free and for that I am grateful! I also chose this place because it seems like a quieter neighborhood due to a (in my opinion) wider age demographic. I look forward to living at Hunters Ridge and will give a 4 stars, so far, only due to the fact that I actually haven't moved in yet.
I recently moved to Hunters Ridge because of a recommendation from a friend and I already love living here! There’s just enough units to not feel overwhelming and it’s super cute and quiet. Also, having a good relationship with the leasing/management staff is super important to me and they already know my name! They’re really considerate, friendly, and honestly a joy to work with. Also, the maintenance staff are friendly, down to earth, and very responsive. I feel very taken care of and safe. Not to mention, the units are beautiful. I’m so glad I moved here.
At first glance this place looks great and that is what we thought until a couple of months of living here. The walls are extremely thin and it is very easy to hear your neighbors. I have lived in other apartments and the noise is so bad here compared to others. The office/management also doesn’t care if there are noise complaints. Multiple neigherbors have conplained about a certain apartment and they will not do anything about it. They recently just fired all of their office staff and hired all new people and things have just gone down hill ever since. We definitely will not be staying when our lease is up. I would suggest looking somewhere else before you live here.

This apartment is very private, not like other apartment complexes. You have your own private entry and the rooms are huge. There's a pool and a small room to workout in. Staff is on call 24/7 for issues, and it's very pleasant. It's quiet and very family friendly. I love it here.
