Hunters Glen Apartments

I called looking for a 3 bedroom unit. None were available, but the woman who answered the phone was so helpful she stayed on the phone with me and referred me to other complexes that might have units available in my price range. I really appreciated her help!

I moved in the beginning of March and chose this complex because of availability, affordability and the fact there was little to no crime activity n the complex. This was a great choice. The office staff, maintenance staff and other residents are friendly and work orders are completed immediately. It’s quiet and I have zero complaints. It's comfortable, clean, they're always fixing it up, they keep it very nice, and when I need a fix they fix it right away.

I moved from North Port to Sarasota last year so I could be closer to work. I was a little skeptical about moving into an apartment, never lived in an apartment community before. Hunters Glen was the first place I applied to. I honestly feel like I made the right choice with Hunters. The one thing I love about this place is that it’s pet friendly, the location is great, close to downtown, close to schools and shops, I’m minutes from my office. The rooms are spacious, not what I had expected, very affordable! Everyone in my building is nice, polite, and respectful. The office staff is always there to answer any questions you have, very polite and courteous, maintenance is quick to look at any issues you have. The community is quiet with a big pool! If I could give Hunters Glen a 10 rating, I would. My experience here has been extremely pleasant!

I could describe how bad is my experience living here I don’t even know were to start, but if don’t like to be treated like if you live for free here and they won’t even take care of your apartment properly when is some thing broke plus they try to make you pay for others neighbors issues, considering that they just go to fix stuff if it is a really emergency because if is not a emergency they always have a excuse like they are short stuff but is been over a year so you can imagine how old and really bad and old can been those apartments considered that just for at least 90 dolards more you can fine a better apartment complex Inwould really recoment you that instead to get stock here or later you will retreat at the point the you won’t care to broke you lease as long you move to a better place.

Like many compounds in Sarasota area apt management is a corporation ~ Rents are jacked up the moment a prospective tenant walks into rental offices ~ The lower rents are never available & don't actually exist ~ Fees are tacked on one after another such as $100 to "hold" apartment while app is processed ~ Look closely when taking a tour ~ broken stairs broken doors ~ 10% rent raises per year? ~ My dog will have 2 get a job to cover his rent ~ Overpriced & outright liars. Bait & switch ad technique not OK

This place and the Equipment are from ancient age. This place should be a museum. Every thing broken or leaking. Almost every other month we have issue with equipment or with structure. Either some thing is broken in our apartment or in our neighbor's but we all suffer.

hunter glens apartments is located in a nice quite neighbor hood, near a baseball stadium, the apartments are nice , but iI think the price of the rent is too high, they raise the rent by $100 dollars each year, and I don't think that is right, I think if you are a faithful paying tenant that has been living there for a few years and paying on time, I the think they should have some kind of consideration and work with you on getting a discount on the rent.

This apartment looks nice, just more than I'd like to spend for rent of an apartment.

Great place to live. I have lived here for two years and I enjoy every aspect of it. Maintenance and Management are kind and knowledgeable.

You just are not going to find a better, more caring staff. Maintenance folks are courteous and knowledgeable. There are quarterly pool and clubhouse events. This feels like the tiny town I grew up in, everyone seems to know each other. The pool is the gem of the place. The kids are well watched by neighbors, mom's and friends. Recycling cans, basketball hoop, kids playground. Every corner of Hunters Glen has something for someone. Just outside the back gate there is a walking path. Walk the dog, hold hands with your lady and relax in the Florida sunshine, or, ride a bike without the traffic. One mile from downtown Sarasota and three miles to Marina Jacks, O'Leary's and other great outdoor venues. The Baltimore Orioles spring training field is easy walking distance (1/2 mile). Golf is everywhere near and around Hunters Glen. I've been here for over a year now and after living in a stuffy condo complex, why would anyone want to live and rent anywhere else.
