It is good apart from random smells in hallways and the fact that the surfaces were dirty when u moved in. Overall it has been a very good experience.

I like the hub a lot so far. When I moved into my apartment it was really dirty though. There was a lot of hair and toe nails everywhere and I had to clean for a few hours before I started putting my stuff away.

There were slight problems with the apartment upon move in that were caused by the previous tenants. I wish these were addressed prior to me moving in or that I would’ve been made aware of them.

I just moved in and I love the hub so far! Move in was so easy and nice with the help they provided us. I love the apartment as well as all the amenities.

Great place with a lot of useful areas surrounding it, love the view of campus it provides, only thing I’d say I was not a fan of how the random roommates were selected

Only been here for a week but I really enjoy the amenities and the view! The living space is a little small but perfect for college students.

was super quick & easy. i came in a little late and the staff was still very supportive and helpful. i’m glad that the elevator is very accessible throughout the move in process.

Everything is pretty nice and new, apartment was clean when i came in, and overall i look forward to living here the next year! Would definitely recommend

Great apartment and amenities. The vibe is awesome and considering the location and amenities, price is decent. Definitely wish the building administration was a little more responsive, but good experience overall.

I had a great year living here. It was always clean and well kept up. The amenities like the pool and gym were great to have. There was always treats downstairs for us!

Amazing experience all around. The tour guide was very helpful and provided very useful information. The amenities are excellent and well taken care of. The apartments are very nice and cozy.

Great living experience have been living at The Hub for the past year, and overall, my experience has been quite positive. The complex is well-maintained, and the landscaping is always beautiful, making it a pleasant place to come home to. Pros: Location: The Hub is located in a very convenient area, especially for students, as it is close to the school. Amenities: The amenities are excellent, including a well-equipped gym, a swimming pool, and a community lounge. The management also organizes community events regularly, which is a great way to meet neighbors. Maintenance: Maintenance requests are handled promptly and efficiently. Any issues I've had were resolved within 24 hours, which I greatly appreciate. Safety: The community feels very safe, with security patrols and a secure entrance system. I've never had any concerns about safety during my stay here. Cons: Parking: limited parking Noise: Occasionally, there can be some noise from the nearby main road.

I'm moving in August, however, I've had many friends live at the Hub and they loved it. So excited to start this fall semester knowing i will have such a nice place to come home to.

The complimentary coffee/tea often runs out. They used to offer Starbucks coffee, but now they have changed to a cheaper option, which still often runs out.

Everyone always has a smile on their face and is happy to help out! Rain or shine it is a happy environment:) would definitely recommend The Hub!

So clean and modern! The accommodations around the building are amazing, and I could be happy spending a day off within the apartment building!

Its been very easy to apply and sign all my lease documents as well a dealing with the leasing agents. Ive had no difficulties other than with getting a parking spot as im still on a wait list.

I love living at the hub! everyone who works there is nothing but nice and accommodating and so so helpful. the location is perfect and so convenient, and the amenities are so incredibly worth it. i am so glad i was able to score an apartment for next year too!

It is a great place to live, a good location to campus, and grand river restaurants/bars. Has good amenities such as a pool roof, study rooms, and a workout facility.

The community seems so amazing and there are so many activities the Hub has to offer! I can’t wait to move in and meet people through the Hub!!!

I like living here. There are a lot of amenities and such that make it worth while, the location is great, and the staff is really friendly. While I do think it is a bit small and overpriced, I enjoy the apartment.

The location is very convenient and was the biggest driving factor that influenced my decision to live here. I appreciate all the amenities and all the activities the hub staff provide for residents. Like all apartments there are some downsides. While the maintenance team generally seem like nice people something that should normally take 5-7 days to fix took them months to check out and at the time of writing this have yet to complete the repair. Another thing I would be wary of is that the garbage rooms at the end of the hallway get extremely disgusting. The shoot often gets clogged and residents carelessly throw their trash in the trash room and leave it to accumulate. Leaving the hallways smelling rancid. There have been instances where there were questionable liquid (I assume animal blood from meat) that dripped from a trash bag onto the floor that took days before it was cleaned up. I enjoyed my time here but I would not live here again.

Great maintenance team that is very fast and thorough, the front desk staff is usually very helpful, and the gym and rest of the mezzanine are very clean. Electric bill is insanely high in the winter, even during the times no one is in the apartment. The pool is closed often, there is more often than not at least one elevator not working, and the garage doors are almost always broken.

Super fun atmosphere and the workers helped me tremendously with figuring everything out they were super understanding and helpful with any questions I had!

Pool took forever to open, coffee machine is empty half the time and elevators are constantly broken. Aside from that, staff is great, well kept clean place.

Amenities are well maintained and very worthwhile! The rooftop pool is especially lovely. Extremely close to campus; I can see the building I work at from my apartment window. Parking is expensive, but I don't need a car to commute to campus, so it's no matter to me.

There is a lot of amenities and it's a very clean and organized apartment building. The neighbors are pretty respectful and the workers are really nice. there is also a lot of events going on a lot that the building and workers put on which is nice and the location is really close to campus and downtown!

The amenities are always clean and there is regular cleaning of the entire common areas as well. Windows are tall and well furnished.

I have thoroughly enjoyed living here so far! I am a senior and have lived in many different apartments but love the amenities and staff. They are quick to help with any maintenance issues and are in prime location. Highly recommend

This is my first year here, and just renewed my lease! Apartment amenities are definitely a highlight for me- the gym is great, love the sauna, lots of spaces to study, but nothing beats sunsets and swimming on the roof!! Location is also amazing, and the apartments themselves are modern with nice appliances!

Love living here. Nice rooms and amenities. At the beginning I had a minor issue with my dryer but I put in a maintenance request and someone came and fixed it within the day!

I love this apartment!! great gym and amazing study spots. They also often host events in the lobby so it’s easy to make friends and meet people within the building! Will definitely be living here again next yr.

Not worth the $, no parking, internet out ALL the time, broken washers and dryers, pool always closed, terrace unit is a joke, garbage area never clean….just poorly run

I have had a great experience at the Hub and think its a great place to live! I have met amazing people here and enjoy the goodies they give and events they hold. I also love how convenient it is that it’s so close to campus and Grand River!

Pros: - Great location for me - The pool is a plus (now that it's actually open sometimes) - The apartments are bright and relatively quiet - The 7-11 downstairs is a plus - I will give them credit for their response during the recent tragic events on campus. They were very supportive and provided extra treats for residents. Cons: - The price and cost of utilities are honestly outrageous - Most of the staff are students. They are generally (not always) inexperienced and unhelpful, and they can be extremely apathetic. - They no longer provide cable and do not allow you to purchase your own, even though the apartments are set up for cable. - The Internet is very spotty and often goes down for days at a time. I have had to vacate my apartment multiple times because, as a college student, I needed internet access. - The amenities are regularly broken and unavailable. This includes the coffee/hot drink machine, the pool table, the desks in the study area, and the hot tub. - At least one of the elevators is broken about half of the time. This is very frustrating if you have a disability or if you live on a higher floor where it is not realistic to walk all the way up all the time. - Parking is an absolute disaster. If you want your own parking spot it is well over $100 per month. A cheaper spot requires you to park "tandem" which is just an unrealistic nightmare for busy college students. - Common areas are regularly dirty or smelly (like rotten food/garbage). Hallways are regularly pretty gross, it is normal to see dust bunnies/hairballs along the baseboards, sticky spills, or dropped food that doesn't get cleaned up. - I'm not sure if this is a problem for others, but the floor and baseboards in my apartment are covered in some kind of tacky adhesive. It seems like it might be from tape or something they used to secure protective plastic to the floor during construction. these spots collect dust and no amount of scrubbing can get rid of the sticky residue. - Communication with management is subpar. - Regularly send maintenance to apartments for inspections without notifying tenants adequately. I was given just 38 minutes of notice that an inspection would be taking place. I should note that the maintenance workers are lovely people—my issue is with building management who think this is an acceptable amount of notice to enter my apartment. This was not for an emergency or to fix something that I addressed—just a regular inspection.

I’ve lived here for 2 years now and love it. Great amenities, maintenance, and there’s always fun events going on!

It is new, clean, and right by campus. I am able to walk to class everyday without even taking the bus. One of the best things about living here is that they provide meals from time to time and also hand out free stuff!

Really good location! There is always events going on in the lobby which is really cool and honestly not talked about. I love the multiple study rooms and booths to study at, this also comes with free coffee!! Maintenance is really fast at responding. WiFi cuts out sometimes but it’s gotten better this past semester. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is the parking situation. It can be frustrating but overall it’s manageable, coming from someone who has lived here for two years.

Initially when I wanted to lease here. I heard so much negativity about it for some reason. But then I decided to give it a try and live here anyways and it was the best decision I've ever made! The best leasing experience I've had so far. And it turned out that all the negativities were exaggerated and simply untrue. I love my room here so much, no issues at all. everyone is so nice and fast to respond. I cannot express enough how amazing this place is! They are extremely caring and loving to their residents. After the tragedy that occurred on our campus. The hub have been very supportive with stuff like free pizza meals and non-stop giveaways like a bunch of snacks, drinks, Nintendo games and so much more! to lighten our moods from such horrifying experience. I love this place so much, every part of it. And I'm proud to call this place home.

Living at the hub is really nice! They have a lot of amenities like a pool and gym, and the location is really convenient! They also have a lot of giveaways and special events as well!

The Hub is a great spot to live and super convenient because it is attached to a 7/11.

Decent building but unreliable internet that will cut out for days on end. During internet outages cell services and hotspots become really slow because of all the residents using the same cell towers too making it a nightmare to live here unless you communicate to your friends and submit homework using carrier pigeons.

Truly disappointed with this complex. Place was not even finished when we moved in and our unit was nothing like it was promised to be and they never told us that they changed the layout. Additionally, the place was filthy when we moved in there was so much dust that it was hard to breathe. Everything is cheap and even some of our appliances were broken when we moved in. Would not recommend to anyone

My experience from the start was great. The lease signing and agreements were very easy and simple. The leasing office is very helpful and welcoming! The free stuff is always cool too. It’s very nice how the Hub is creating a community in their apartments and planning fun events for the tenants! The rooftop pool, lounges, tech, location, and all the other amenities are what drew me to live here, and it’s holding up to be great so far! Can’t wait to move in! -Allie Claybaugh

The Hub offers such unique, fun, and much-needed amenities to apartment life on campus that no other apartment complex in East Lansing offers...all for such a reasonable prices too. The staff was patient and super helpful throughout the entire leasing process. I appreciate all the updates they have provided to me as a upcoming resident for this fall, as well. Additionally, I have interacted with their staff at events on campus multiple times and they always had a smile on their face and were willing to answer any questions I had. I am beyond excited for the opportunity to live in this state-of-the-art apartment complex next year! I highly recommend The Hub on Campus in East Lansing.
