Property Ratings at Homecoming at Terra Vista
Be very very very careful with Homecoming at Terra Vista. The initial deposit that you give at the beginning of your term, can be kissed goodbye. My 2 prior neighbors were not given their deposits when they left. Just like my neighbors, I was not refunded my deposit, as a matter of fact I was charged with getting the floor completely redone/remodeled. Keep in mind we payed out of our pocket to have it professionally cleaned so it can look brand new again but that was a waste of money seeing that we were charged because Homecoming wanted to put new flooring for the new tenants. It’s a pretty smart scam if you ask me. Homecoming saves thousands of dollars on renovations by charging the leaving client and taking away their deposit. Additionally, prepare yourself for never ending issues with favoritism. One of the main managers Kalhani has a set of favorites tenants, possibly family members? Other inconveniences you might have to look out for if you choose to lease here: overall security, people stealing your mail, people stealing your door dash, UPS/Fedex/Amazon deliveries, breaking and entering your home when you’re not there, car theft, breaking into cars, noisy tenants, parking chaos security exterior doors and gates not working, short head count on security personnel, vandalism, loitering. When your lease is over and you decide to rent be careful. They hit you with the “pro rate” on what the current rent rate is. This is false, they will always always charge you for more. The amenity on having a theater at the club house? You have to pay an initial deposit for that, it isn’t free. They’ll squeeze out anything they can out of you. I would strongly recommend to do your research on this place before moving forward. Google all the lawsuits this place has. Beautiful place, friendly staff (not all), nice amenities, however everything listed above outweighs the few positives. This place can slowly become a headache.

I got locked it at a good price considering what other apartments and units are currently going for. I am so happy with the community and the staff. I’ve been here a couple of months and am beyond satisfied so far. Community is well maintained, very dog-friendly, and a lot of amenities are provided. Also very close to dining, and various stores.

Beautiful property and nice staff as well as ease of moving in made me choose this place. Units are modern and the maintenance is great when they're not understaffed. Property is too big for their own good because of crime and unruly tenants being a consistent problem. I believe if they had enough integrity to operate as promised, this place would be perfect for the price.

I am in my fourth year here and this will be last. When my husband and I first moved in, the complex was kept up beautifully and rent was reasonable with all the amenities. Now, it’s noisy, dirty, there is trash, dog poop, broken glass, you name it, everywhere! The gardeners killed the plants and hedges, because they don’t know what they’re doing and the trees are over trimmed. There is also a rat problem here along with a huge brown widow spider problem. Also, if you have an appliance break it takes forever for it to get replaced! I’m still waiting on a new refrigerator! The worse part is how ridiculously expensive it has gotten here. Our rent has gone up almost $800 in just a few years! We have never been late, but management will not negotiate rent here with you when your lease is up for renewal. I have always rented, and have never experienced this type of increase in my rent anywhere! Especially when I was signing another 12 month lease! Go somewhere else. It’s just not that great here anymore and definitely not worth your money.

It's like living under a highway overpass. My apartment is uninhabitable. When I hear the upstairs neighbors leave and begin to thank God for the respite, the neighbors unattended dog across the courtyard starts going off. Not just for a few minutes either, it's hours on end, day and night. When I am outside, it is so loud it makes my ears ring. I can hear it in the bedroom with ear plugs in. And the owner agrees, I've seen them put the dog out on the balcony and shut the door so they don't have to hear it. There's people living here that bring their dogs out into the center courtyard at 9:45 at night while the dog is roaring off at the moon. I've complained to "management" numerous times about the balcony dog and the upstairs neighbors stomping around (I know the difference between a normal walk and stomping,) running back and forth across the floor, jumping up and down on the floor. It's has produced absolutely no results at all. Even though the lease agreement clearly states that you shall make no noise that can be heard outside of your unit. It's a joke. I bought a white noise generator and have reduced my life to listening to Youtube videos through ear buds, they still overcome it. If you happen to love constant, obtrusive and completely unnecessary loud noises, there will be a vacancy coming up real soon.

Lived here for two years. Thin walls. You can always hear your neighbors, loud or quiet. Water always comes in under my front door when it rains. Maintenance crew is friendly and fast to respond to maintenance requests. They seem to always fix the damage but not necessarily the problem. I do not think I will be renewing my lease for a third time. Especially since my front door entryway is starting to smell musty/moldy from water damage and they are raising the rent.

This property is OK or Good, but absolutely not excellent. There are many problems associated with this property like other apartments have (theft, loud car music, littering, a group of teenagers loitering, banging on the wall/floor, and residents with no morals). Those problems are even getting worse over the years.
Great place for families . Plenty of activities to keep them busy.

My place here at Homecoming Terra vista is beautiful. Plenty of space, great area, clean and the staff is very helpful and polite. I love living here!
I moved in when it was fairly new. It was awesome. The way they made you feel was like royalty. Now, some of the most shady characters are moving in. What once was a quite place is now routy. I love the layout, I love the complex and I love my apartment but the new crop of people suck.
OMG, I live at the Homecoming in Rancho Cucamonga. Living here is like being on vacation 365 days a year. There are 3 pools and 3 jacuzzis, a tennis court, theater room, basketball, pool table, computer room and a community garden. Residence are able to check out bikes and ride on any of the near by bike trails. There is an outdoor mall near by and several hiking trails. The staff at Homecoming are very attentive. The community is beautifully landscaped, plush green with a mountain view. I love living at Homecoming. Living here is truly paradise.
We entered the community and started renting from homecoming with our two children. We poked around and decided to take a chance. That chance led to the happiness of our future which are our kids. It built their independence, respect for people around them and allowed them to lend a hand to neighbors if needed without invading the privacy of anyone. The experience has been the foundation of our new beginning. We love it!
I just move in to this awesome gated community apartments and I love it. This is perfect place for me, everything is provided, pool, bbq place, car wash, entertainment area, gym, you name it, everything is here. Perfect place to have a dog too. You can walk your dog along on the side walk and there is a small park behind the community. It's very safe and quit which is hard to find the place like this. Not to mention the places around here. Seems like all the food places close by, you can walk in as well to grap some snack or dinner.
We were welcomed from the beginning. It's quiet and we feel very safe. We love it here!
This complex is very nice like resort living, very close to Victoria Gardens outdoor shopping area. It never seams to be crowed. There are three swimming pools with hot tubs and a kiddy pool, two play grounds, basketball court, tennis court, bbq's, car wash and many more services. The amenities are outstanding! Homecoming offered my husband and I everything we were looking for at a fair price. These apartments are nicely maintained, have a resort like feel and it is a very safe and quiet community- definitely something we were looking for. With so many apartments to check out in the area it seemed tough to choose one, but as soon as we toured Homecoming we knew it would work well for us. They have all the amenities we were looking for-multiple pools, nearby parks and walking trails and have an actual GYM with a variety of free weights and equipment, instead of the measly gyms offered at other nearby properties. We have a dog and there are so many parks in walking distance that it is great to have options of places to take her to play- very pet friendly area! This place in close to everything in Rancho as well as all of the major interstates. We highly recommend it.
My husband and I have been living here for just over 2 years, and we love it. The apartments are very nice compared to others in the area and you get what you pay for. Huge walk-in closets, spacious patios, large bedrooms and full size washer and dryer in the unit. They have so many amenities including several pools throughout the community that are never too crowded, large gym with lots of equipment and kid friendly activities throughout the month. They occasionally do special things like free donuts or breakfast for residents! The maintenance staff is always on top of repairs and everyone in the office is friendly. Lewis is one of the best management companies I've ever experienced. We feel very safe here! The only downside (and reason for taking away 1 star) would be that they've been slacking lately on enforcing rules like parking, making sure only residents and a couple guests can use the pool and other lease terms regarding satellite dishes. Other than that, I would highly recommend living here! One last note: we previously lived in another Lewis community before moving here, and they do not steal your security deposit or make up bogus charges when you move out, which seems to be a common offense among other apartment management companies.
With so many attractions located near by Homecoming at Terra Vista is a great choice for all types of people. From the night owl who longs for the night life, to the recreational shopper who loves to have choices. Also sports fans will enjoy close proximity to Rancho Cucamonga Sports Complex, while race fans will get their heart pumping at the Auto Club Speedway located a short drive away in the neighboring city of Fontana. Inside their beautifully manicured complex are attractive pools with hot tubs, parks for the kids and a tennis and basketball court. The clubhouse is a very friendly place to relax with your friends with unique offerings like a theater, ping pong table, library and a Players Club room with a pool table along with a card table. A well equipped business center is also provided. The staff here is one of the biggest attractions. From the nice smiles everywhere you look to the fact that they actually listen and care to any concern that may arise. The maintenance crew is very friendly and prompt to resolve issues. An activity director keeps you entertained onsite with attractive events and activities. The homes themselves leave nothing to be longed for with granite counters, maple cabinets and modern black appliances in the kitchens. Roomy, well-lit interiors make life a pleasure along with roomy tubs to help unwind. When moving my family of four to California from the mid-west we wanted to find a friendly quite area that didn't feel crowded with traffic, buildings or walls blocking the natural scenery. We found that at Homecoming at Terra Vista. We highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.
Homecoming at Tera Vista, is a beautiful friendly gated community is the Inland Empire CA. The location is perfect; close to the 15,10 & 210 freeways and Victoria Garden and Ontario Mills Mall. A very nice place to live with good ambiance.
We have been living here for almost 5 years....and it´s been wonderful!!! just like a resort!!!! You never worry for any issue, because the incredible staff always take care of it...and we have lots of activities just like if you were in vacations, we simply love to live here!
First, the gym is the closest thing to a real gym that you will find in an apartment complex. As far as fitness goes, it has the best set up. There are three pool areas that are never too crowded and the bike/walking path is great if your big on cardio. If you like to shop, It's close to a few major shopping areas (Terra Vista and Victoria Gardens). The neighborhood is pretty quiet and it stays clean. I'm 15 or so months into an 18 month lease and I haven't had any issues with a neighbor to speak of. The office staff and custodial services are great as well.
My apartment is perfect for me. I love the direct access from my garage and the easy access to guest parking. The Carriage style gives me a great view from my patio where I enjoy a glass of wine most evenings. My visiting grand children love the pool, parks and bike paths. They are always excited to vacation at Granny's.
Amazing apartment with great service and staff, such a good community and neighbors. Everything is around and not to mention a 24/7 gym in the community.
My wife and I moved into these apartments about a year ago. We have not had any major issues with anything here. The property facilities are amazing, especially for those from out of town. It gives you a lot of things to do during the day and for visitors. It is a little pricey but you get a lot of ammenities out of it. It is also very close to a great outdoor mall Victoria Gardens. So it depends what you are looking for but it might be right for you. We are very happy with it and have decided to sign up for another year.
I absolutely love this location. I recently moved here from MN so he sticker shock of rent was tough for me! However, based on all of the awesome amenities here, the rent is appropriate. I use the gym daily in addition to the yoga and boot camp classes. The staff is amazing and the maintenance team is super responsive! There's so much to do right in this little community you don't ever have to leave! BUT if you do leave, we are so close to everything! I also owned a home in MN so I was nervous about moving into an apartment. The entire complex is very green (like MN) and it just feels welcoming. My unit has an upstairs and downstairs, so it also feels like a home. I have two patios that I love and although I have a unit on either side of me, I very rarely hear noise from inside their units. It is also right on a walking/biking trail that connects to several parks which is awesome since I have a dog AND a bike! :) Overall, I am very happy with my selection and encourage you to come check it out! I don't think you'd be disappointed.
I am going on my second year at Homecoming Terra Vista in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Having owned my house for 13 years prior, I was hesitant to rent an apartment. But renting at the Homecoming Terra Vista community has erased all the "cons" associated with apartment living. The 2-bedroom unit I rent with my two daughters is very spacious and comfortable. The amenities Homecoming has to offer make you feel like you are at a resort. The staff are also very friendly and ready to help when needed. It's also nice to have an outdoor mall close by with movie theatre and great dining venues. I highly recommend Homecoming Terra Vista!
We have been living at Homecoming for 2.5 years and love living there. As a family of 6, we had always lived in a house but decided to give an apartment a shot. Our plan was to only stay there one year and then move back to a house. As you can see, 2.5 years later, we are still loving our apartment and have found no need to go spend more money on a house. In comparison to other apartments in the area, I don't think there is any other complex that quite compares to Homecoming. Starting with our apartment, we opted for the largest unit available which is over 1,700 sq. ft., 3 Bedrooms, a den downstairs that serves as another bedroom, a loft loft that can also be used as a bedroom if needed, and 3 bathrooms. Our particular unit also has a 2 car attached garage. Plenty of room and very comfortable. Then you have the swimming pools - 3 of them. The largest pool is more like a resort pool and I love just going out there and relaxing with a book and enjoy the warm water (warm year round). There are BBQ grills everywhere and conveniently located. There's a car wash. You can check out bikes to go ride around the Cucamonga trails. You can shoot some hoops at the basketball court or play tennis. At the main building, there's always fresh coffee, conference room you can rent for a nominal fee if you need to host a business meeting. There's a theater where you can bring your own movie or they have movies available you can borrow. A business center where you can print, fax and get work done. Or the kids can go do their homework there. A room with a pool table and poker table. A room with a ping pong table. And last, a huge room with kitchen and patio that you can rent for birthdays, graduations, or any event you want to host. I know I've probably missed a few things, but I have no doubt that you would agree with me on my assessment. If you're looking for a comfortable place to live without all the extra expenses that come with living in a house, but yet just as comfortable; don't look any further.
I live in the Homecoming community, which is amazing, vibrant, and fun. And my kids are absolutely thrilled with this place. The apartment, however, is bland, and the neighbors upstairs are often noisy. Still, best deal and spot for my family.
The homecoming is a beautifully kept apartment complex! The amenities are amazing, and they are really good to their tenants!! There is also a monthly calendar sent out of all of the upcoming events!! Truly AWESOME!!
I have lived here for 6 years. My rent has increased by 300.00, every year my rent has increased by at least $50-75.00. They have never replaced my carpet or even painted the interior of my apartment after 6 years, they simply offer you a carpet cleaning each year...that is disappointing!! I feel the complex has not meet my expectations as it did in the previous years that I have lived here. The first appearance of the complex is wonderful but once you are living here you will realize that this complex is all about the money and charges you for everything they can. Now they are remodeling the interior of the apartments and increasing our rent to do it, so does the company pay that bill???...NO we as tenants do!!! Most of the tenants seem to stay only the length of their lease cause they realize what the company is really about!!!! I am very disappointed in the Lewis Operating Corporation. At one time this complex felt like home to me and my family but not it is just another apartment.
If you like top notch service, beautiful landscaping, and cozy dwellings, then look no further. Homecoming master community has everything you need and everything you wish you thought of. From the pool and lounge area, complete with mister. The complex features free car wash station and community garden. But that only the tip of the iceberg. Throughout the month my family and I can participate in fun filled activities and community events. Homecoming is name appropriately, every day is like coming home.
I lived here for 1 ½ years and I enjoyed it. It's been the best apartment I've lived in. The staff is super helpful and friendly. All the amenities are clean and easy to use. The community is secure with gated access and feels safe. My apartment had an attached garage which I loved and I could park a suv in and still have lot of space for storage. Inside the apartment was clean with new carpet and paint. Whenever I had guest over I got so many compliments about my apartment and the facilities.
Homecoming at Terra Vista is very family friendly. My children love to swim in the Olympic size pool, watch movies at the clubhouse, and attend the many child friendly activities. I lenjoy the weekly Zumba classes and use the gym regularly. We are within walking distance to their elementary school and two parks. It is a quiet community. The maintenance staff is efficient and it is easy to make service requests. The office staff is helpful and professional. I would definitely recommended this residential community.

I absolutely LOVE my adorable apartment in the Homecoming at Terra Vista community. I have lived here for 7 years and would buy my unit if I could. The community is beautifully kept up, offers a variety of amenities for every age and has the friendliest staff working on the premises. It is centrally located to many different shopping centers such as Victoria Gardens and Ontario Mills and the dining options in the area are endless. If you are looking for a place to call home, I would highly recommend this community!

I really like the homecoming apartments in rancho cucamonga. They have great amenities and plenty of things to do for the kids. It's great to have a garage underneath your apartment so you never worry about being too loud and you can never hear your neighbors. The down side I would say is that the bathroom on the 1 bedroom is in the room and that's awkward for guest and it would be nice to have hard wood for the dining area so any spills will not require carpet cleaning. Otherwise I am rating this place a 4 out of 5. Great job

After 20 years of marriage and a devistating divorce, me and my kids moved out of our home. After looking at several apartments, we agreed that Homecoming at Terra Vista felt like home. It is it's own little community, and it offers a community life that feels so much like what we had left behind. We are proud to call this our home. Nowhere else can you go that offers something for every family member. We're happy to finally be home again.
Homecoming really has a neighborhood feel. I love calling this place home. The apartments are well-designed and surprisingly roomy. There is plenty of cabinet and closet space and even a pantry. I like the ceiling fans in each room and the living room. The apartments and town homes aren't claustrophobically crammed together, but beautifully well-maintained. From maintenance staff to office staff, everyone I've had the pleasure to meet is friendly and seem to really take pride in what they do. Another plus: it's also very pet friendly with walking paths, a dog bath, and convenient little bags and bins for, you know what. You do have to pay pet rent for dogs, but but I think it's worth it. I love it here. I look forward to many years here.
I've enjoyed my 4 years at the Homecoming Apartments. They are great about checking in to make sure everything in the apartment is functioning and to make sure we are satisfied. It's kid friendly, quiet and have not seen any criminal activity. It's in a great location and would definitely recommend the Homecoming at Terra Vista to anyone.
I have lived at Homecoming at Terra Vista for 22 months. The grounds are well-kept and there are many ammemities offered to residents. They also have monthly freebies for residents like free breakfasts, lunches, dinners, desserts, etc. I have really enjoyed living at Homecoming.
