The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Himount Gardens
This was my very first apartment and i loved it there! Building was always clean , maintenance always came fast and building manager was always extremely nice! Only down side is parking , parking really sucks. Besides that i loved this apartment
This was my girlfriend’s and my very first apartment together. We had very minimal income, so we weren’t expecting much. After some searching, we found Himount Gardens and decided to set up a tour. We couldn’t believe that a place so beautiful was in our price range; there had to be a catch. When we got there we met Jennifer, the property manager. She is an incredible manager and human, and looking back, she is truly what we miss most about Himount Gardens. She showed us the unit that would soon become our apartment. We were amazed at how big it was. As I said earlier, we weren’t expecting much, and this 1 br unit was easily 5x the size of what I was used to with University housing. On top of just the general spacious layout of the unit, there were also enormous closets and storage space throughout, which is truly unheard of for a building that old. We were also pleased to find out that most of the utilities were covered (we just had to pay for electric and gas), as well as an extra storage space in the basement. We ended up moving to be closer to my University, but location was truly the only downside of Himount Gardens; everything else was perfect and we miss it dearly. Where we are now in our second apartment together, we pay over $100 more per month on utilities. Parking is also a lot more difficult, and we don’t have as nice and skilled of a manager as Jennifer was. Moving to Milwaukee a little over a year ago, I was nervous. My sister had lived in Milwaukee and had dealt with handfuls of awful landlords in awful apartments and I thought I was destined the same. Despite keeping the place spotless (and leaving it cleaner condition than it came in!) she was always robbed of her security deposit. She also had to pay a lot more per month. Our experience at Himount Gardens was so entirely different in the best way possible. Overall, I have the utmost respect and admiration for Himount Gardens and the management team there. I would not be surprised to see ourselves living there again in the future.
I moved into my first place on September first. I was excited about what the new place would look like. Given all my great options at apartments.com, I was able to find the perfect place. The place I now, greatfully call home.
I really liked the space and the set-up of this apartment. The wood floor I love and the kitchen. Its look very clean and up kept.
