When residents aren’t enjoying local restaurants and breweries, you can find them at the local marinas or boating on the water. Downtown offers a park-like atmosphere and offers several green spaces, walking trails, and waterfront views. Locals enjoy the seasonal festivals held in Downtown Muskegon and appreciate the overall family-friendly atmosphere in this neighborhood. After you’ve found your affordable apartment Downtown, check out the Frauenthal Center, a historic venue offering plays, live performances, films, and more. There’s a historic charm in Downtown Muskegon, as well as a few historic sites like the Hackley and Hume Historic Site — two Queen Anne Victorian homes.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at HighPoint Flats Apartments
I moved in to the High Point Flats Apartments May 2018 and I absolutely love it! There were a few kinks at first but things were worked out and the new Property Manager has been very accommodating. The rooftop deck has an awesome view of Muskegon and is a great place to hang out with my friends and family.
The management is awful, so far living here there has been so many issues that have not been taken care of from the old leasing manager to regional managers. I have been to the heath department many times because they will not help and say tuff luck. All they want is your money instead of taking the time to help make your "home" liveable. The apartments are beautiful but not worth the money in the long run. No one should have to pay $350 for an electric bill.
