Located five minutes east of Downtown Syracuse, the lively neighborhood of Eastside provides residents with all the convenience of city living but at a lower cost. The community is home to Syracuse University, but Eastside itself has blossomed into an exciting destination in its own right.
You may find many groups of college students hanging out on Marshall Street, as this road is lined with several cool shops, bars, restaurants, and coffeehouses. Nearby Thornden Park’s expansive green space touts numerous sports fields and recreational facilities. At the southern end is a rose garden, dotted with hundreds of gorgeous blooms in a variety of hues.
When they’re not at their Eastside apartment homes, students and locals alike could be rocking out at a concert at the Westcott Theater. Residents take comfort in the medical centers in the area, and enjoy a round of golf at Drumlins Golf Course in Syracuse.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Hidden Valley Apartments
I complain about my upstairs neighbors stomping all hours of the day and night (none of them up there works) i emailed and called management and no one does anything about it. I’m 8months pregnant and already can’t sleep but the walls are so paper thin i don’t get any sleep at all and i work almost everyday at 6am my neighbors under me don’t complain because i think of other people that live here I pay rent just to be uncomfortable here DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!! . Management wants me to use headphones to block out the noise
Property Manager at Hidden Valley Apartments, Responded To This Review
Management was notified of this numerous times and many things were done to try and resolve the situation. From calling the neighbor and being told they were not being loud or walking heavy to having maintenance go and see if it was something that could be resolved on our end. Every time we were contacted, something was tried. We strive at all times to make everyone here feel comfortable and have the best living conditions.
I rented here for 2 years and had a wonderful experience living here. First of all the apartments are very nice with spacious living area and bedrooms. The kitchens are modern with newer appliances including a dishwasher and a garbage disposal. The grounds are beautiful with immaculate landscaping and they are always kept up weekly. My building had it's own laundry room and extra storage which came in handy for me. If I had a maintenance issue, they were there within a day, usually only a couple of hours after I called. The office staff is very helpful and always took their time to meet my needs. I loved living here, I would have stayed if my job didn't transfer me. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet place to live that is close to everything.
Small apartment 1 bedroom 1 bathroom a bit pricy would love to have extra cash for other things .
