Located on Lake Erie’s western shore, Monroe sits on the Detroit-Toledo Expressway, just 17 miles north of Toledo and 35 miles south of Detroit. Michigan’s third oldest community, Monroe is one of the most historic cities in the state. Monroe was the site of the River Raisin Battlefield, the bloodiest battle of the War of 1812.
Aiming to balance the stewardship of historic preservation with the opportunities of economic development, Monroe is quickly becoming an arts and cultural hotspot. The River Raisin Jazz Festival draws tens of thousands every year in addition to the Monroe County Fair. Downtown Monroe is home to the Monroe County Historical Museum and the River Raisin Centre for the Arts as well as plenty of shopping, dining, and entertainment venues. Monroe’s Sterling State Park on the shores of Lake Erie offers residents and visitors access to boating, swimming, camping, wetlands exploration, hiking, and fishing.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Hidden Trail Apartments
Bugs in the front office. Bugs in the laundry room and hallways. They dont fix any issues Lived here 3 years and 2.5 of them with a maintenance ticket to have my ac fixed. Never came or addressed it. I complained but never had anyone come to fix it. Also roof was leaking never saw a repair from that either
Management takes forever to take care of problems. Overcharge. Maintenance sits in the office drinking coffee instead of addressing problems. Other tenants bring bugs in and management charges to have your apartment fumigated to get rid of the bugs that other tenants brought in and then they dont even get rid of the eggs so now my parents have a bug problem again! Time to get a lawyer and sue
Very unprofessional. Staff stands outside complaining about residents. They don't fix anything right. Another user said hallways smell. This is true. I never had issues with neighbors. they don't do background checks and you people move in and aren't on the lease and the staff doesn't care. As long as you pay them they leave you alone. They will tow your car if they don't see it move.
The staff suck they don't fix anything.. They have BED BUGS in the walls and make you pay to get rid of them.. I wouldn't let anyone I know move in there because there are very unprofessional..In the winter they don't clean the side walks or parking lot ..The hallways are always dirty and smell..
My husband and I have been living here since 2015 and have never had any issues. Everyone that works here is very friendly and helpful. If we ever have a maintenance issue they are prompt in getting it resolved. It is very quiet here and we love it. We plan on staying here indefinitely.
Moved in to bed bugs. Brand new furniture wasted. They “professionally” sprayed the apartment & STILL INFESTED. They’re not willing to compensate you for your things or hotel stay. Better off living in a shed. Best of luck to y’all.
Nothing smoke free about this place. If you like your apartment to smell like marijuana and cigarettes your in luck.
Hidden Trail Apartments has been a good place to live. And the staff has been great at helping with any issues. Thank you!!
Hidden Trail Apartments has been great. They have been really good at communicating with the tenants. Highly recommend!!!
Great place to live if you don't mind bed bugs or roaches as your roommates. If anything in your apartment breaks it will take the office months to send maintenance to your apartment. If you like to park in the same spot consistently, they will have your vehicle towed. The washer and dryers break at least three times a year and takes them about two weeks to get it fixed/replaced. All around, it's not a safe place for a child or a single female to be with all the drug addicts. We had one building burn down a little over a year ago because of a meth lab explosion.
Well kept it has a swimming pool dog park and playground for kids is air conditioned and neighbors are really nice... Great place to raise your child..
The staff is great, They go out of their way to help you. I had a appointment to sign my lease, I had a personal emergency. and could not make the appointment. They took the time to call me the next day to make sure how everything was going.
