The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Heritage Green Apartments
The apartments are maintained and routinely updated by the landlord Joe. Very pet friendly apartments. Just and overall great apartment and location to live in.
This was my daughter's first apartment (she only moved due to a job change). Joe has done a lot to improve/update the property. My daughter found him to be very approachable and helpful throughout her stay and move. Nice, quiet area. Pets allowed with parks nearby. Close to several local eateries. Plenty of parking. Laundry on site. Safe, clean and comfortable. Excellent first apartment.
Lived here for about 2.5 years. First place I lived on my own. It was very quiet and out of the way so it didn't get a lot of foot traffic which was nice. It was also very pet friendly and the area around the apartment complex was great for walking my dog. I moved in under the previous manager John and when he retired and Joe came on it was a night and day difference. He was very attentive and personable and any problem I had he was able to resolve in no time. I think this is a good choice for someone moving out on their own for their first time and the newly remodeled units look amazing.
If I could give this place zero stars- I would!!! BEWARE! DO NOT LIVE HERE! This is the worst place to live. The new landlord Joe is an absolute psychopath. I feel extremely exposed and uncomfortable around Joe. He has made sexist comments, he has harassed me. He has lost my rent checks and blamed it on me. Do not live here. I've lived here 3 years, this Joe is a real piece of work. The hot water lasts 5 MINUTES!!!! 5 minutes....it's a sickening place. And the number 1 reason to not live here is the Landlord JOE- he is scary and a weird, weird person. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the sake of you, your family and your children.
Heritage Green Apartments has been wonderful for me and my pup. The overseer, John, is very nice and approachable. The rent is affordable, we are right by Hawthorn mall, and there are plenty of trails and forest preserves nearby. The neighborhood is also very safe and clean, which is great for walking my dog. My only complaint is the distance of the complex from the highway, but that isn't something in their control to change :)
