Overall, my move-in experience has been positive: the location is convenient, the common areas are clean, and the management team is responsive. However, a few hardware issues have stood out. The windows are drafty and difficult to lock, and several light switches feel loose or stick when toggled. While these are minor in the grand scheme, addressing them would turn a good apartment into a truly great one.

Living in the Heights apartment with my husband and son has been a life saving grace for our family because it doesn't only provide security but it also gives us peace. It is definitely a good community to live in as it so peaceful and quiet. It is also a 5 minute drive to Duke University Hospital where I work. Whenever my friends would come and visit us, they definitely admire the apartment and amenities the we have here at Lasalle. I truly enjoy our time and stay here at this luxury apartment!

The location is great and the complex is really nice. I enjoy all the amenities as well I wish the gym had some more equipment and the clubhouse WiFi isn’t great but other than that, so far so good.

I absolutely love living here, it’s a great place, and the staff are very supportive and kind. My only concern is the way some residents treat the building. Unfortunately, many common areas end up stained or messy from trash and food left out in the open. This creates issues with odors, pests, and long-lasting stains. My unit itself is exceptional, but it’s disheartening to see how others neglect the shared spaces. I truly hope management can take stricter measures to ensure all residents care for the property so it stays as beautiful and welcoming as it should be.

The check-in process went smoothly, and the living environment is great. The air conditioning works very well, and the location is not far from school, making daily life quite convenient. The apartment also provides free breakfast, which makes me feel very welcomed and cared for.

Great environment, beautiful view, check-in went smoothly as leasing officers are nice and helpful. The staff said they had hired a third-party company to clean the room. When I checked in, I found several dead insects in the corner of the bathroom, and the washing machine and bathtub were not very clean. I believe these minor issues will be resolved soon. Everything else is fine. The unlimited free meeting rooms are very convenient!

It's been pretty awesome so far. Got to meet a ton of people in my Duke Program (MQM) and it's been comfortable so far. I like how spacious my own room is with two closets with a great living room.

Still bugs in the apartment. There are spider webs everywhere. Not properly clean as expected and firstly had to change rom because the AC was not working in the first one. Also not explicitly mentioned that it is unfurnished. Very bad experience till now.

the management is getting stingier and cheaper by the day.... as of right now, there are no dog waste bags in at least three of the locations closest to me.

Going to Duke, this is a great place to live. Right on the bus line, as well as within walking distance to campus. A lot of friendly dogs live here, which is nice. Apartments are well-maintained. Only improvements are with noisy neighbors and better communication from the office staff.

The apartment is nice. I always feel safe and comfortable here. The amenities like the pool, grills, gym, club house, package room, gated parking, and indoor hallways are very nice. The new management has done a great job.

The management and everyone at the leasing office (shout out to Brian and Kehinde) are always quick and super helpful with any issues like maintenance or pest control. The amenities are great and the leasing office is a comfortable and fun communal space. The events hosted there are super fun too!

The apartment itself is great, the maintenance team solve all issues, we have nice amenities. But they rarely refill the dog poop bag stations, the corridors are not always clean (sometimes you see the same dead bugs in the same spots for weeks), deliveries are not always done right (I just never order food and groceries to save myself the trouble) and fellow residents don't really comply to the trash rules, which compromises the cleanliness and hygiene overall.

Great starter apartment in Durham. Close to campus, and a great pool. Communication from the office could be better, and there is not really a community here. Many folks who live here also do not know how to take out their garbage.

very nice apartment complex! they serve breakfasts on week days and coffee/tea all the time!! The community is gated and full of services like gym, pool , barbeque area and etc. I live with a roommate and we love our 2 bedroom apartment.

I've been living here for a two weeks, and I couldn't be happier with my choice.T he management team is outstanding. They're always responsive, friendly, and willing to help with any concerns. Maintenance requests are addressed promptly. The amenities and the breakfast here are what truly set this place apart. The only minor issue I’ve experienced is occasionally not receiving the access code for the package room when I get a delivery. It doesn’t happen often, and the management team is always quick to help resolve it. Other than that, I have no complaints!

Such a comfortable place to live. Spacious apartments, trash service, breakfast on weekdays. Luxuries of a high end hotel but the comfort of home. Love that I (and my neighbors) feel safe walking around the complex at any time of night. That's priceless.

The apartments are great and well-maintained. I love that there is ample security as well. However, i wish the apartments were built to have more sunlight.

the utilities are old give such high rent we paid, and seems like they haven't clean the apartment before we moved in, other than these, everything is fine

I must also highlight the delightful experience of the breakfast provided. Building is very nice, its close to campus and offers good amenities. Move in process was a bit complicated, not everything is communicated clearly. Staff are usually accessible, but not always. Kitchen is very nice, as our bedrooms, and bathrooms, although everything was a bit dirty moving in.

I've lived here for 5 years now, a lot changed during this time. Management is good, maintenance guys are very nice and efficient, all employees have been nice to me, no exceptions! We never thought of moving out, we like it here.

The apartments are really spacious and comfortable. The community and staff are also amazing. I personally love the coffee machine but cold drinks can be added to that. Also, the pool needs to be cleaned more frequently.

Safe place to live and new management is doing a great job. Close to Duke and grocery store, and a perk is being on the Duke bus route. Close to main roads to get nearly everywhere.
