Property Ratings at Haywood Reserve Apartment Homes
Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this dump. Original management company was great and was well maintained. The day they took “luxury apartments” off the sign it showed. Regular evictions, trash every where, dog poop fills the grass, drug use at every building, domestic violence is a regular occurrence, you’ll see fire trucks and police daily, amenities are awful and not maintained, takes months to fix, parking is a joke.

Since new ownership (Morgan Properties) there have been a variety of issues between slow maintenance response, technical problems with package concierge, the new trash valet company they hired is not as good as the previous company, guests now have to pay to park, etc. I could go on. I do love my apartment itself; the space is great, no major issues with neighbors. But the small issues have piled up to a cumulative effect where, if I could get the same “luxury” elsewhere then I would. The cost of moving at this time does not yet outweigh the issues I have with Haywood/Morgan so, begrudgingly, I will be sticking around a bit longer but I hope for a better situation in the future.

For starters, we came into this apartment complex at a time when nobody else would accept German Shepherds because they're an "aggressive breed". From the moment we stepped onto this property, we fell in love. The community is very well maintained and the apartments are absolutely gorgeous. The office ladies have been nothing but spectacular not only to us but to our pups as well. Truly the best place to live in Greenville aside from owning a house. Maintenance is always quick to respond and fix any issues, and I'm so grateful for that.

The Haywood Reserve At 826 Old Airport Road is the best address in the Greenville Area. Restaurants, Shopping, GSP Airport are nearby and the Fun and Culture of Downtown Greenville are a ten minute drive a 10 minute drive away.
Haywood Reserve is a great place to live! Apartments are nice and the office staff is great! I also really love the sense of community between everyone living there! Would definitely recommend!

My living experience at Haywood Reserve has been amazing. The staff and amenities are amazing. Maintenance team is always prompt and fixes any (minimal) issues I have immediately and efficiently. I especially love the three community events every month and how much the community is involved with things going on in Greenville. The community is also pet friendly and even offers a pet spa which is nice. Overall, I would recommend anyone to live here.

In all Haywood has proved to be a great decision for my girlfriend. This being our first place together we love the look of Haywood and our unit. The bedroom is slightly small due to an unusual shelving unit in the closet. The staff at Haywood are some of the nicest we have encountered during our apartment search. Our unit was a little dirty, but that is on the company that cleans for Haywood and as soon as we informed Haywood they came around first thing and helped to clean up. We are beyond excited to live here in Greenville and call ourselves residents of Haywood.

My husband and I moved here recently, and love the amenities, apartment features, and staff at Haywood Reserve. The gym is never crowded, the pool is always clean, and the staff are friendly and accommodating! We have a bottom floor 2 bedroom rental and are amazed at what little noise we hear in our apartment. Love the granite counter tops, and updated fixtures! The club house also features free Starbucks coffee! We have recommended this complex to many!

The office staff is outstanding. My husband & I are retired and in the middle of selling our home. We are getting to a point in our life that owning is difficult. So trying apartment living and so far we are very pleased. From the manager to all his staff we have been treated with respect and they have attended to all our needs. Couldn't be happier and may make this a permanent move if our home sells soon.

Great apartment for a great price
I have lived at this apartment complex for coming up on 3 years now and I absolutely love it. This environment breeds positivity and happiness. Moreover, the front office staff is second to none in terms of customer service and quality.
In the area I've settled into there are a lot of very nice, new rental communities; however, the combination of exceptional facilities, outstanding service from genuinely kind and helpful people made Haywood Reserve the clear and easy choice. Haywood Reserve is a community I'm both happy and proud to come home to everyday!
I just moved to Greenville in May from Florida and am so happy I stumbled upon these apartments. The apartments are really spacious, the finishes and appliances are definitely "higher end" in quality than most places I looked into renting and the best part is that these are brand new. Wood inspired flooring throughout (main level), and spacious bathrooms. I agree for the first few weeks the new wood smell populates your apartment but it isn't horribly unbearable. Pool is really nice but could be a couple feet deeper and larger. 24 hr. fitness center is really nice! Only complaint I have so far is the construction noise (which is of course temporary.) I'm home during the day and it gets really loud, but again this wont be an issue once the apartments are complete. These apartments are also in a perfect location; walking distance to Haywood Mall and surrounded by several shops and restaurants just a few minutes away. As well as only a 10 minute drive to downtown Greenville. Overall the experience here has been really positive, and I plan on staying around.
As of July 2016, the Reserve is coming along. We have been here a month, and see the construction process move pretty well (some delays-like the (salt water)pool area-which is now finished and super nice-when they can keep the tenants from letting their dogs swim in it). The apartments are semi-luxury, but don't let that pull you away from checking them out! The models are quite nice and look and feel very comfortable (beware, new car smell and new apartment smell are not the same thing. Air freshener required if you're moving into a freshly built unit). All the appliances are "nicer" but not top-of-the-line. Expected repairs or missed items get fixed quickly (perhaps because there are still only a large handful of tenants (?). However, the staff are super friendly and jump on anything you need. The gym and club house are truly beautiful. Love the two room fitness layout. Lot's of pre-programmed workout routines to train with! Repair staff have been in our place to fix things a couple of times, but haven't notified us prior to entering. Should fix that (get it?:). Also, look out for nails in the parking lot. Keep finding them everywhere, due to the ongoing construction. Who's gonna pay for my tire repair!? Like most concerns, these are super temporary. Management says they will be fully up by September. Likely to happen, as things are moving fast. The construction work is not obtrusive or overly loud (I work from home so I'm here most of the day). Bottom line: It's nice here. There are a LOT of places to look at in GV, and we did. We wanted a nice space, comparable to living downtown, without the DT $$. HWR offers more/nicer amenities than most of the heavy hitters DT. While it's still a work in progress, it's finishing up fast. The staff is learning a few things as they go, and helping to turn this place into exactly what they claim it to be. Luxury Living. We have no regrets, being early adopters here. Think we'll stick around.
