Yuma's historic downtown began as a rope crossing for the Colorado River in the 1840s. The earliest adobe homes were lost to floods in the early 1900s, and the current buildings along Main Street were built in the 1920s. Because of this, Downtown Yuma has a definite art deco flair, blending with the desert landscape and the palm trees to create a beautifully unique neighborhood. With its fountains and brick-paved walkways, Historic Main Street is the ideal location for festivals and street fairs.
Residents and visitors can take history (or ghost!) tours, all starting at the Sanguinetti House Museum. This adobe home was built in 1857 and includes beautiful gardens. The Yuma Quartermaster Depot State Historic Park includes six historic buildings dating back to the Indian Wars of the late 1800s. During the late 1800s, the Territory of Arizona also established a prison. Today, it is a museum at the Yuma Territorial Prison State Historical Park.

Property Ratings at Hayden Square
I love how the employees look after your every need. Lawn care every week. Pest control every month. Inspection of A/C, smoke detector, plumbing and ask if there's anything that I am having a problem with in the apartment every month. The common areas are kept spotless. More than enough machines in the laundry room. Patios are large and private. The pool area is kept immaculate and there's a BBQ area inside as well. All of the common areas are key operated so only residents have access. Basic cable is also included. Enclosed doggie park area and pet waste dispensers everywhere. There's so much to be grateful for living here and the peace and quiet is another one. Im truly blessed and I know it. Thank you to the owners and staff for all that you do to make me feel that I'm home.
Very good neighborhood, very respectful people in the community and the workers are great. Maintenance is a little slow.
After visiting a dozen apartment complexes in Yuma, this was the obvious choice. The units are bigger than most others, office staff is wonderful, grounds are clean, free covered parking, and great service. The units are older, but well maintained and lease specials made it a great value.

Really nice place, apartments are bigger than any other place I visited, you even have your own private patio! The staff is always there to help you, really friendly people. If you have any problem in your apartment, they will fix it quickly, at any time of the day! I will recommend you this place for sure!! For the price, and even without considering that, this is one of the best places to live in Yuma!!! They really make me feel like home!!
