Lived here for nearly 3 years and never had problems. The front office is extremely personable and friendly. They have always been responsive and fair for any requests. I never worry about asking questions or taking their time. The maintenance is super kind and always willing to help. If it isn’t fixed the first time, there isn’t any pressure to call again and try and fix it. I’ve throughly enjoyed living her.

I have lived here since 2018! I LOVE it here. The office staff and maintenance team are like a 2nd family. They are so caring and are always there when you need them. All of them have gone above and beyond for me many times! I am so blessed to live in this community. I have also met some life long friends here. I always feel safe and all of my maintenance needs are always addressed. Not only do I absolutely love my apartment, but I love the people who work here and live here, they truly make this place a home.

I have lived at Hawthorne at Lily Flagg since September of 2021 and I LOVE it here. They have two dog parks for me to walk my fur baby and a dog washing station so I can keep him clean! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and they are always having some kind of event!

Pam is very nice made us feel like family. The neighbors are also friendly. I made a maintenance request Saturday night and maintenance came the next day !! He was professional and nice as well.

I stayed here at Hawthorne for two and a half years while I was finishing out my degree at UAH. This was my first apartment alone, so this was a helpful learning process. There were a lot of things this place did right - leasing office was (for the most part) usually very nice and helpful. Anytime I had a question, they were kind and handled my issues with respect and courtesy. Maintenance was quick and attentive and usually solved my issue on the first visit. I felt safe in my apartment as a single female, which I think speaks a lot considering this is not a gated community. However, there were so many things that they got wrong and really irritated me over time. When I moved in, I was told a certain area was overflow parking, ergo, we could park there without any issue. After having lived there for two years, I come out one day to a tow sticker on my car and the leasing office telling me they called me and knocked on my door (neither of which was true) to tell me to move my car. When I complained about this and why now of all times, we can no longer park there, they said it was a result of the trash collectors begin unable to access the dumpster. Yet they were able to for two years prior? The office also tried to charge me nearly $200 after moving out for carpet replacement, and it took three separate calls to sort out that I had told them when I moved in there was already existing carpet damage. Parking after 4:30 PM was an absolute nightmare for the lot I was in of the complex, though I can't speak to the rest of the place. I did see pests in my apartment from time to time, but whenever I requested for pest control to spray inside my apartment, the issue was remedied immediately. The amenities were pretty decent - it was nice to have available to me tennis courts, a package facility, two different swimming pools, an outdoor bonfire and grilling area, as well as laundry facilities given I don't own my own washer and dryer. All in all, this place wasn't bad at all. It's a bit far from campus if you're a student, but it's in a safe area and generally well maintained, just understand there may be issues arising every now and then that will be irritating.

We moved in November 2018 while I was pregnant with my first child. I wanted to find a place that I could afford and most of all feel SAFE with a newborn baby. I am pleased to say I found the perfect place! Everyone is friendly, the staff is amazing, even the apartments are quiet. I don't have to worry about loud noises from outside or dogs barking from other tenants waking up my baby because it is almost inaudible - including fireworks and thunder. There is always events going on, and I couldn't be happier living here at Hawthrone at Lily Flagg.
We were in need of an apartment quick and they were very easy to work with. The management was upfront about all costs and the 1 bed, 1 bath apartments have a good amount of space for 2 people! Would definitely recommend these apartments to others!

Been here a little over 30 days, and I have 3 notebook pages and photos of things gone wrong. The only thing this place has going for it is the model apartment, the rental office, I haven't felt unsafe and the updated siding. Other than that, take your hard earned money somewhere else. Biggest advice, DO NOT sign your lease until you have walked the apartment you will be signing for. Check everything and take your time.
Very dangerous place. With criminal rules. I would never recommend to rent an apartment here. And opposite, I will say - be careful! Stay away.
This is the best apartments I lived in!!! The staff is excellent, and their nice. These apartment complex is well maintained. It has a nice, but small salt water pool. I have a remodeled unit, and it is gorgeous. Nice clubhouse and play havens. The maintenance is not that great though. The closets doors and fixtures tends to break easier than the apartments I used to live in!! This is a nice place to live, and good schools and close to the shopping center
It's a nice size apartment and the location is decent but the management is not that great.
I have recently used your web site to locate the apartment I am living at now, it is fantastic, great location, quiet, great neighbors, I feel safe and love the amenities. I would recommend this apartment complex to all that are looking. Great job with your web site.
