The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Hawthorn at Oakhurst
I have lived here for 5 year this new company is absolutely terrible. I’ve reached out to Hailey multiple times about my neighbors that just moved in BLASTING music at 7am-10 am and then late at night. IM FEDUP. This new management company is so unprofessional and doesn’t take care of nothing. I work two jobs a normal day of work is 10am-12pm on most days. Does it look like I want to be up at 7am hearing the most annoying music?, it ruins my day as soon as I hear it. It’s sad I don’t even feel safe here as well. I have a man who lets his dog come up to my patio to try to attack my cats I reached out to the office and was told “sorry to hear that but I need pictures of proof that this man lives here” it’s sad that I’m ready to turn my keys in and just pack up and leave and let them figure this out. I refuse to pay a move out fees because they can’t take care of absolutely NOTHING. Nobody wants to hear the excuses anymore.
I toured this property with my daughter. It is clean, updated, and well laid out. The Clubhouse and pool look amazing, and very welcoming. They even have a cute lending library in the Clubhouse! Any employee we came in contact with was very inviting and really nice!
I’ve lived here for a little over 20 years and it keeps getting better. With the help of a great maintenance crew this place is great. Thank you Ivan for all you do.
The apartments at Hawthorn are very great! The office staff is very friendly and always keeps the gym/complex clean. One morning I was locked out of my house and one worker named Ivan gave me his last water bottle along with helping me figure the situation out. Whenever maintenance is needed in the apartments or around the area they are very quick to respond. I appreciate the neighbors and the complex very much
Overall, I think I am paying way too much for this place to not have any of the amenities I am paying for and not have hot water for 25% of my contract. I genuinely really like the space that I live in. And Good for them that they are renovating right now, but the clubhouse (that has all the amenities that drew me to the apartment in the first place) has been under construction for 3 months now, and who knows when it's going to open. i have no idea why it is taking so long. They didn't accommodate for this in the rent, and I have found a few members of the staff to be quite unfriendly. n addition, the maintenance services are sloppy and done with little thought. I had no hot water in my apartment for the first 3 months. After about a dozen of futile service request completions and a bit of a fit on my end, they finally replaced my water heater, which should have been considered after 2 or 3 service requests. After this was fixed, they totally forgot to turn my normal water stream back on and i went a weekend without being able to flush my toilet before they came to fix it. My dishwasher and washing machine were also not hooked up to the plumbing when I first moved in. I am also in a recently renovated unit, so I would expect a working water heater, dishwasher, and washing machine when I got here, but I guess that's asking for too much, I'm sure it has been great for other people and good for other people in the future, but I am personally not having a great experience.
They do everything they can to bring people in but as little as possible to keep people happy. If people who actually LIVED HERE were happy, more business would come in from recommendation. The community is a rotating door with a nice, but thin coat of paint to make you think it is a nice living space. I've had several coworkers ask me about this place, and told them to stay away as my experience here has been nothing but one disappointment after another.
We are current residents. We love our individual unit but the walls are paper thin, you can hear your upstairs neighbors walking and running around, next door neighbors tv/music. Most residents are very noisy and inconsiderate, even if you speak with them, noise doesn’t stop. Doors to enter the building do not lock so anyone can walk into your building and up to your door. Reserved parking spots are assigned to people that don’t use them and it takes up parking from everyone else (management office does nothing to monitor reserved spots). If you have a front unit (near the leasing office) kiss parking by your apartment goodbye after 3pm or on weekends. I will give credit where credit is due though. Management changed this year and has great response time to work orders. Had a new water heater same day and any repairs needed within a day. We will definitely be looking elsewhere once our lease is up.
tThe place is getting more run down all the time. Our building has not been vacumned for several months. There are leaves and salt all over the halls. When we moved in, we didnt ask but they told us we could plant flowers around our patio. We have been here for 6 years and have a beautiful garden. Now we have just received notice we can't have our garden. We have mostly perennials. It's a joke when they advertise luxury apartments. The apartments are average but the buildings and the grounds are starting to look like slums. We will not be renewing our lease.
I began living at Hunter's Glen in the spring of 2017 and I have found the experience to be a very pleasant one. I especially enjoyed the access to the fitness center and clubhouse. The maintenance staff was always very prompt and friendly, and the office staff was always helpful no matter what my needs were. Thank you all for making my time at Hunter's Glen a nice one!

Over the last 4 years I've lived in Hunter's Glen it has been a great experience. Very friendly neighbors. Very friendly staff. Very straightforward leases. If you ever have a concern, they are more than willing to work with you and very quick with correspondence. The maintenance staff is super understanding and are very comfortable to be around. After a little over 4 years, I am unfortunately ending my stay at Hunter's Glen due to outside personal reasons. However, looking back on the last 4 years of my residency here, I can confidently say that I had very little to no complaints, and was very happy with my stay here- and only have positive things to say about this complex... and only positive memories to remember. Definitely recommend this place to rent to anyone interested- and it doesn't hurt that it's a great bang for your buck as well! 5 stars all around! =] HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I just moved in a few weeks ago. My apartment is in great condition overall. Takara has been very helpful at getting a few small concerns addressed. Stephanie the property manager has been great at delivering on the promises made before we signed. Luis has done great on maintenance work as well. If everything continues as it has been I will be likely to renew next year.

This apartment is perfect. It's quiet, cozy and very comfortable. Updated appliances and cabinets, quiet well kept community that's convenient to everything.
The manager tracey is terrible. She is great until you have committed and are in a lease, then she will try to add charges to your bill and also she tried to threaten me to get my co-signer off the lease when it was her fault she wasnt contacting them. She blamed me for not doing her job for her and then has been quite cold and rude since.
