The largest city in North Dakota, Fargo rests on the North Dakota-Minnesota border and the western banks of the Red River. However, Fargo residents affectionately refer to their location as “North of Normal.”
You might find that Fargo is a bit different when you stop by the Fargo-Moorhead Visitor Center and see the woodchipper from the movie Fargo. Maybe it’ll be when you start spotting members of the colorful herd of bison painted by various artists scattered all around town, and rightfully decide to go on a scavenger hunt to find them all. Perhaps you’ll find it unique that Wurst Bier Hall serves a rattlesnake rabbit bratwurst and indulge your curiosity. You’ll notice that North of Normal is a pretty interesting place to be.
There’s no shortage of things to do in Fargo. Plains Art Museum and Rourke Art Gallery and Museum offer residents and visitors endless opportunities to admire art with all kinds of rotating exhibits.

Property Ratings at Hawn Apartments
So far I like living in the Hawn1 Apts their are nice people that live there, they keep the building and grounds fairly clean too and the staff is polite and friendly…couldn’t find a better place to live however I did… thank you
Overall good area, nice neighborhood, minor car thefts in the area
Hawn is great apartment to live with friendly neighbors. It is also somewhat close to the college which I like.
I’ve only lived here for a month but it seems like a good spot and the neighbors have been nice.
The tour, application process, approval, and move-in was smooth. Treena has been so wonderful and helpful to me during this process!
Terrible place to live. I wish the management team was nicer, stuck to their word, gave people some chances to make mistakes without charging a bunch if fees. We are people! Please treat us like it. This is supposed to be our home where we feel safe and happy. I haven't experienced either.
So Far So Good. The apartment is an older apartment so they're are some minor aesthetic things that not everyone will love. Staff has always been super helpful and responsive and there have been no issues with them.
The process was seamless. We were given a list of damage right off the bat and the apartment was cleaned before arriving. Office staff was friendly and knowledgeable. There was a slight hang up regarding utilities but it was resolved quickly.
It's beautiful, peaceful, calm environment to live it. It's also a quiet area and neighbors aren't loud or disrespectful.
If you want access to your apt to be given to vendors at any time. If you don't want snow removed from parking lot. If you want amenities to not coincide with advertised statement. If you want to be lied to by management team. This is the place for you.
It's a good apartment to live in contains all the necessary facilities.
Great price for quality of apartment, friendly staff who are happy to answer questions.
The apartment design is really nice. A lot of natural lights and air in the apartment. Balcony and garage make the living more comfortable.
There isnt anything I would change. The location, building, and staff are all amazing.
Very nice and well maintained. Professional service and friendly environment.
Love the appartment an the people that work for Gold mark
Family orientated with extremely comfortable living conditions. Well maintained living.
Maintained to the highest quality and run by true professionals. Very proud and priveledged to be a resident of the Goldmark Family.
Great place to live.
I am very satisfied
Hawn 2 has been great, not too noisy, great people around, they listen and respond to you. It is a great place for college students
Hawn 2 is a more rustic and old apartment building with all the necessities. Its not the most glamorous of buildings while there are a few scuffs and the light smell of cigarets, it is a still suitable and comfortable living space.
Love the layout. And the staff were all so helpful! They were very prompt with responses to my questions and I feel very comfortable speaking with them about anything concerning the apartment.
I have lived in Hawn 2 for 2 years while going to school. It is one of the best places as far as distance from campus, affordability, and I love the ability to have my cats.
Management was very easy to work with and very knowledgeable and helpful.
I love where I live. River North office is fantastic. Goldman offices, not so much. They lack initiative and respect of their tennants valuables. Thank God for the satellite office. River North truly cares about us and our well being.
Excellent neighborhood. Management does a really good job with everything. Id recommend living here.
Quiet place to live and big apartments with lots of storage!
Perfect apartment for 2 or less people. Everything you need is within walking distance.
Perfect apartment for 2. Small, cozy, and spacious. The thin walls take a little getting used to though. Outside of that, nice place.
