About Harrison Apartments
The Harrison was built in 1926 and lies in the heart of downtown Ocean City, MD. Members of the Harrison family have operated it since that time. We have catered to many families over the years, some of who have returned over several generations. In addition to families, The Harrison rents to high school graduates during the month of June. We strive to offer a pleasant, affordable stay with some Eastern Shore hospitality to our guests.

The resort town of Ocean City is well-known for its 10 miles of beautiful beaches, its boardwalk, its hotels, and its restaurants. While the population is about 7,000, Ocean City (or OC) has about eight million visitors per year, with most arriving during the summer. OC is a barrier island and was established as a resort destination around 1839. In the 1860s, the railroad arrived to the island, and investors began to lay out streets and building lots.
If you've decided that life on the coast is right for you, Ocean City is a terrific choice. It is about 28 miles east of Salisbury, roughly three hours from Washington DC and Philadelphia, and just under three hours from Baltimore. When you aren't swimming, surfing, fishing, boating, and beachcombing, OC provides many great destinations, including the Casino at Ocean Downs, Jolly Roger Amusement Park, and a wide selection of shops and restaurants along Coastal Highway.
