Apartment Reviews at Harford Village North
We love Harford Village North - new to Maryland residents!
We are very happy in our new home on Denise Drive, APT B. Moved from PA to MD and we love this community, the property is clean, well cared for, manicured with beautiful flowers. Our apartment was clean and attractive upon move in, any concerns have been rectified in a very quick turn around time and we are so happy to have met Suzanne, she is definitely part of the reason we decided to rent here! She and her staff have made us feel very welcome! We are looking forward to a long stay and happy home life in Harford Village North!
Tour of Harford Village properties
I recently had the pleasure of meeting with Suzanne, one of the property manages for Harford Villages. We toured several properties. Suzanne was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions completely. Each property had its own special features that made them each appealingly. All properties appeared to be well cared for, peaceful settings, and priced well. I also had the pleasure of meeting Cathy at the Harford Village South property (one of my favorite properties!) and she was super nice, as was this property!
Found Friends for a Lifetime at Harford Village North
I moved to Harford Village North 2 years ago and found a place to call home. I have met some wonderful people that I call true friends for a lifetime. I never thought apartment living could be like this. I came from a large single family home with very little closet space and now I have enough closet space to store all of my thins and more. I absolutely love my view of the pond. In the evening I listen for the geese and watch the deer roam. The pool is a great place to cool off at the end of a hot summer day and to mingle with your neighbors. I have a beautiful fire place in my apartment that I enjoy to warm the cold winter nights. An apartment will all the amenities you could ask for.
Harford Village North is AMAZING!
We have been in this apartment community for 6 month and we LOVE it. The apartments are spacious with lots of closet space and we even have a fireplace which makes it so cozy in cooler months and saves $$ on heating bills; we didn't need to run the furnace a lot of days. Suzanne, the property manager, is absolutely the BEST and the maintenance crew are timely and efficient. People in this community are friendly and the setting is quiet and peaceful all the time with trees and well maintained landscaping. Pool access is also available in the summer months. In less than 3 minutes you can be on your way to shopping, restaurants, and parks. We lived in Owings Mills previously and for the money and peaceful surroundings Harford Village North is the GREATEST hands-down! GIVE IT A TRY!!!!!!!!!!
fabulous place to live
I moved in November 2017 when my daughter found me a place in her building. I just love this apartment, it felt like home as soon as I stepped in. I was living in a retirement community which was beautiful but never felt like home. When I came here, it was amazing, clean, quite, quick customer service, excellent care and consideration of my age. Although, I cannot do steps very well, so many people are so accommodating to help me out if they see me they always ask is there anything they can do for me. I just love this home and will stay here for all the rest of my days!! Cannot wait to sit under the umbrella by the pool and take in the nature. K.Fuld
Quiet, Well Run Community
We rented an apartment here in November 2016. We've been nothing but very pleased with how well run the facility is. The property management company has been very responsive and caring. This community is very pleasant place to live.
My Tree House
I have been living here since 2010. Absolutely love it here. Suzanne and the maintenance crew are wonderful. No issues at all. Dishwasher needed to be fixed (minor). Within an hour of my call, someone was here, he changed a lightbulb and even washed the globe for me. Love my balcony, I feel as though I am in a treehouse. The building is quiet and clean at all times. What else can I say? Love, love it here, do not intend to move any time soon.
We lost our home to foreclosure and I was so worried that we would not find something that we would be proud to call our home. We were welcomed to Harford Village North from the minute we took our first tour of the apartment to the signing of our lease. Suzanne in the front office has always been willing to help with whatever questions or needs that we may have. The Maintenance dept is so efficent and always willing to lend a hand with anything that we need to be fixed..I can't say enough how wonderful it is to come home everyday to this beautiful apartment..
Pros: -Quiet environment -Convenient to shopping -Large units -Gas heat Cons: -Rodents in the attic that management would not remove -Maintenance was poor and slow -Pool area needs to be updated
If you are looking for a quiet, spacious apartment with a favorable location in Harford County, Harford Village North is it. While not the original plan, my husband and I happily lived in the HVN community for 7 years. The rent was more than reasonable for our 2 - bedroom, 2 - bathroom unit (especially with a Forest Hill zipcode). Parking is plentiful, garbage and recycling dumpsters are well maintained and easily accessible. Two maintenance lines (one standard and one emergency) are a convenient way to put in any request you may have for your residence. There is a very private pool with an open field that we utilized for bocce ball and grilling out when the weather was pleasant. There are a couple water features on the property that offer another element of peacefulness to an already quiet community. Main Street Bel Air is less than a five-minute drive and easy access to Route 1 makes for a convenient commute. The Farmer's Market run by Kirk's is within walking distance and a great source for local meats, cheeses, desserts and produce. We even picked up our vegetable plants to put in pots on our over-sized patio. Steamed Crabs in-season too! Welcome to MD! Ronnie's is one of the best liquor stores in HARCO, with tastings, events and growler fills on-tap; it is also within walking distance! Grab a Rita's Italian Ice right next door. I digress... Did I mention private laundry, in-unit? The apartments also run the entire depth of each building, which means one open window and an open patio screen door creates the perfect cross breeze, a very uncommon trait when looking at apartments. You won't be disappointed. Call Suzanne and book a walk-through. She is very knowledgeable and can give you any information you might need about utilities, cleaning services and tips about the surrounding area.
What a Great Place to Live!
Hats off to this community and staff. We moved in approximately 5 months ago with intentions of staying for a year. We have fallen in love with this community the layout of the building and the Staff. This move was one of the best things we've ever done for ourselves and Suzanne has made us appreciate this decision. Her willingness to accommodate has been above and beyond our expectations and her team (headed by Steve, who is wonderful) sealed the deal. The buildings are very well maintained, the grounds/trees mature and create a wonderful homelike setting, the pool is a big plus and the beautiful (lit up at night) pond is delightful along with the very friendly welcome you get from the geese who live here as well. We would like to think we have found a home for at least the next several years until we recent full retirement. Thanks to everybody at Harford Village North!!!!!!!
I am EXTREMELY happy here!
I am a widow who moved here 2 years ago to help out my daughter with the grandkids. The location is perfect as I'm only 2 miles from the house. The size of the apartment is wonderful; I moved from a 4 bedroom home on 5 acres but had already downsized a lot before moving here. There is plenty of closet space; I don't miss having the house at all! Being on the 2nd floor I have a lovely view of the pond & enjoy seeing the geese & all the birds. I haven't had any maintenance issues other than a slow toilet, but that was taken care of very promptly. It's great having the stack laundry in the unit; the full size fridge is also a plus. I would recommend Harford Village North without any hesitation!
The Best Place for Me in my Golden Years
I sold my 6 bedroom home in Fallston two years ago after becoming a widow. I am about to sign my second two year lease on my two bedroom apartment at Harford Village North. I thank the good Lord every time I put my key in the door of my third floor home which faces the beautiful pond. My apartment is huge and the most reasonably priced in the area. I brought most of my furniture from my home and I even painted the walls the colors I had in my home. I chose to make the second bedroom into my den. I have a fireplace that I enjoy as well. This community is so quiet off Forest Valley Drive, with no sound from Rt. 24. The apartment buildings only have 6 units per building allowing for a cozy feel. The neighbor's are wonderful yet the community is small enough to maintain privacy. The apartments provide plenty of closet and pantry space as well as a large outside storage space. I have a full size stackable washer/dryer in the kitchen which is so convenient. The location is as perfect as it can get. Drug stores, grocery stores, banks, doctors, offices and Harford Mall are all less than 5 minutes away. Parking is secure and right in front of your door. Maintenance and office staff are terrific and prompt. I feel secure in knowing what my expenses will be each month. No worries!
I have been living here now for 2 years. As a single parent, Harford Village North provides a safe, affordable place to call home. I can't say enough about the maintenance staff, other than they are on the ball! I call with a concern, by the time I get home from work the issue is resolved. Suzanne, the property manager is just the best! She is flexible, kind and truly a genuine person. Suzanne appreciates this community and wants to make living within this community a positive experience for everyone. As a runner, this neighborhood provides me a safe running experience regardless the time of day.
A Place to Call Home!
My husband and I have lived here for almost 2 1/2 years now and we love it. We have a third floor apartment and it is very quiet. Our apartment backs to trees which provide extra privacy, especially in the summer months. Suzanne in the leasing office so nice and helpful. Our 2 bedroom apartment is spacious and we love having the extra 1/2 bathroom in the master bedroom. I am so happy we made this our first choice as a home after we got married in 2013. We couldn't be more happy about our choice.
Our apartment is Home!
We love Harford Village North! The community is beautifully landscaped and the pool is clean and well maintained. We love to sit by the lake and watch the ducks. My Son and I enjoy walking to the Ritas just a short distance away. The location is so convenient to everything. We feel safe and secure. The few times we had any maintenance issues, we called the staff and they very quickly fixed them. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Our apartment isn't a structure, it is a HOME! I have recommended it to friends who have also moved in and I will continue to recommend Harford Village. Kelly & Luke, Maryland
My favorite place!
This apartment is extremely spacious for a one bedroom unit. It may be an older section, but the layout is awesome. Plenty of space in each room, especially the bedroom. There is cross-ventilation and a balcony big enough for a table and 2 chairs, with room to spare. Nice, quiet area, no issues of any sort. Everyone is friendly, especially the girls at the rental office and all maintenance people. If I ever need maintenance (very rare), someone arrives within hours after the call. Living in Harford Village North, Forest Hill MD is a pleasure and one of the best decisions I've ever made.
My Forever Home!!!
Since moving into my apartment last year from a house, I never thought I would love apartment living. Harford Village is amazing. The friends I have made since being here, they are the best. After meeting Suzanne, she has become a close friend of mine. My apartment has now become the beautiful home that I dreamed of. I hope everyone that comes to visit Harford Village North moves in. It is the best move I ever made in my life.
Resident since 2002
Central location in Harford County and access to major highways, large apartment, beautiful pond view, washer/dryer in my apartment, quiet building, management is very friendly and responsive.
Very Good Experience
I enjoyed my apartment in Haford Village North. It felt like a home away from home.
Harford Village North
I have been living here with my boyfriend for 3 years. We absolutely love it. The best place to live in Harford County a little slice of heaven. it's close to work ,very convenient to get to the local grocery stores and the Mall it's also very quiet, friendly people, very spacious and the price is very reasonable . We absolutely love our property manager Suzanne. She has been very helpful to us and very kind. We could not ask for a better place to live. The maintenance here is phenomenal when there is a problem they are right on it and they fix it correctly. We plan on living here for the next 20 years! Very highly recommended
ONE BEDROOM APT.
I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR OVER 1 YR. SO FAR I'M VERY PLEASED. IT'S QUIET, NEIGHBORS ARE NICE. I WOULD RECOMEND THESE APTS. THE ONLY THING I THINK COULD HAVE AN IMPROVEMENT ARE THE KITCHEN CABINETS, VERY OUTDATED.
If you're looking for cheap that is exactly what you will get
I would not recommend giving this complex your time of day. Of main importance to them is the appearance of the leasing office not the apartments. They recently installed a new front door and fountains outside the leasing office. While at the same hand there has been a street light laying in the grass for almost a year now - not sure how safe that is. The service department is not the best either. Took them 4 attempts to fix my dryer.
Quiet, wildlife to enjoy & pool. Maintenance responds next day.
