Located directly on the border of North Carolina and South Carolina’s coasts, Calabash is known as the “Seafood Capital of the World”. This small fishing town originated "Calabash-Style" seafood, a distinctive style of fried seafood where clams, fish, shrimp, and oysters are dipped in a light, flavorful batter and fried quickly.
