Isle of San Souci rests on the coast of the Long Island Sound, about a mile southeast of Downtown New Rochelle. Residents enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Sound along with New Rochelle Harbor to the southwest and several islands, including Pine Island and Echo Island, nearby. Locals spend their free time at waterfront parks and beaches like Hudson Park and Beach, a popular spot for concerts and fishing. Isle of San Souci is also home to several country clubs, yacht clubs, and event venues including Davenport Mansion. Isle of San Souci houses several older estates that tout an impressive history and architecture, but there are also apartments, houses, and condos available for rent as well. Although Isle of San Souci is a great option for renters seeking a quiet, coastal community, it’s also a great option for commuters since Route 1 and Interstate 95 allow residents to travel into New York City with ease.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Harbor House
They claim to offer luxury apartments, but they don’t feel too luxurious when: - you have mice in your living room and have caught dozens of other mice - you have to go on a 10 minute walk to take out the recycling - there is ALWAYS a nonsense renovation going on (good luck sleeping past 8am) - it is not uncommon to see dead roaches on the first floor Also, it takes $7-9 to do laundry here. Please don’t live here.

Everyone from the leasing management, property management to the employees are just horrible. They all have horrible attitudes and constantly lie about these apartments. They say they are “luxury” but they are far from it. The hallways are always dirty and they force you to go 4 buildings over to throw out your recyclables. What management does this? The pics they show online make it seem like the apartments are updated but most are not. The leasing people are all over the place and confused and I had to follow up constantly for an update. Once I got here, the area is full of people hanging outside and smoking weed all hours of the night. I’ve been here for a couple of months and have seen more crime activity right outside my window than I’ve seen in my entire life. Cop cars are always coming in and out of the parking lot due to constant calls. This place is a joke. The management of this property is unorganized and a mess. And when you bring up complaints to them, they have an attitude and try to turn it back in you. I called about the snow removal in the parking lot after the storm and they did nothing! Cars were slipping all over the place. They say they will handle it but nothing is done and they take no accountability. Save yourself the trouble, don’t move here.
When I moved in my “newly renovated” apartment it had no mirror/ medicine cabinets in the bathrooms, the bedrooms were still being painted and the radioators were still being “worked on”. My friends and I had to move all of my belongings in to the living room for a week and a half. One radiator needed two calls to maintenance (after that week it took them to get it up and running) and one cracked filling the room with steam until they finally sent someone to shut it off. The floors were scratched all over, when I opened a ticket they told me not to worry about it. Our Foyer light never worked and when we opened a ticket a worker came and simply removed it telling us not to worry about it and that we would not be charged. Once we moved out we were charged for both the floors and the foyer light. They wouldn’t tell us where these charges came from until we were contacted by a collections agency. Basically these people are criminals.
Just Dont go. And if you do chose this place, Take videos and pictures before you move in and out. take down the names of stuff you talk to. They are not nice people.
I looked for apartments in the Pelham area of the Bronx and New Rochelle - and Harbor house has the nicest apartments at the best price. My renovated 2 bedroom is brand new and better than the apartments in the other new towers popping up in the area - trust me - I looked. some of the apartments are under renovation - but they are awesome! and worth waiting for!
My rent has experienced significant increases on a consistent basis every year that I've lived there, yet there have been absolutely no enhancements that have been made to the property - inside or out. After my 4th year there, they did repave the parking lot...something I don't think anyone asked them to do, but that was it. Overall, the neighborhood is very quiet. My unit is spacious. My neighbors are very respectful and honest. I don't have any complaints other than the annual rent increases. A lot of my friends have moved out because of the rent increases and not seeing them go toward anything. S. H., New Rochelle, NY
Scam dont bother any of their listings wont be the place you go see. The receptionist are rude and unprofessional. Waste of time dont even go. Not worth the price they ask for.
